HT4061 My Ipad was lost and I do not have the serial number - is it possible to find it via apple id?
I recently lost an Ipad (forgot it on an airplane) and now the lost and found service
of the airline is requesting that I send the serial number - I haven t written it down
anywhere + on the purchase invoice it is not written so I am wondering if the serial
number of the device can be found through the Apple ID that was used on the device?
If you synched the iPad to your computer at any time, launch iTunes, go to the Preferences, select Devices, and hover your cursor over the backup file for the iPad. That should show you the serial number. The serial number will also be on the iPad box, if you still have it.

You could ask Apple to provide you with a new one assuming you still have proof of purchase . . . though don't hold out too much hope.
Also if you click on the FCE icon in the menubar and select "About FCE" you should see a serial, though if your FCE is an upgrade it most likely won't work. -
Question: I have just taken delivery of my LR5 disc. I had already downloaded the trial version. I just tried entering the serial number from my hard copy to authorise my downloaded trial version and it did not recognise the serial number. So, I loaded the hard copy, and the instructions said that it would just overwrite the downloaded version. And again it will not recognise my serial number! I am not wanting to uninstall the trial version as I have already got quite a lot of personal preferences entered etc. Help please. I am on a macbook pro with latest OS

Download the Find My iPhone app from the App Store to your iPhone.
Then, launch the app, log in with the Apple ID & password used for your iPad.
Note that unless you had enabled the FMiP function on the iPad under Settings > iCloud, you will not be able to track the device. -
My daughter reset her IPod and after doing so the Ipod asked for a password. We do not have a serial number for the Ipod as it was used. The IPod is now disabled. How can I fix this?

Any way, go to the police and make a report, change your password in iTunes Store, really sorry, that's not much you could do. Is it authorize? If so you can deauthorize in iTunes when you select iTunes Sore under STORE (left panel) and click your Apple ID (top right)

CS 5.5 was crashing and reinstall will not take my serial number
Hello,
I was having many crashing issues on CS5.5 with Yosemite so I decided to download the trial again and reinstall. Now after the install, it will not take my serial number, even though it is listed in my adobe account history. HELP!!!!!
Also, everytime I try and open a file in photoshop cs5, it crashes. I get a GPU warning sometimes as well in Yosemite.

Hi, i have lost my iphone and do not have the serial number and IMEI number with me.
I tried the edit > peference > mobile tab, but it only record my handphone number used.
The support store does not reach Singapore.. What do i do?The serial number wouldn't have helped you anyway. The only way to locate a lost device is if you enabled Find my iPhone.

We had our Mac Book Pro stolen and have not been able to recover the serial number from our Best Buy receipt. We did register it with Apple during the set-up and downloaded music on it thru ITunes. Any chance we can recover the serial number from somewhere? Any details would be helpful. Thank you!
