HT4061 my iphone 4s is in a coma, my sleep button does not work and when i connect it to my charger nothing happens, help!
my iphone 4s unexpectedly stopped working, it wont turn on and my sleep key has not worked in months so i am unable to reboot the phone by holding the sleep key and home button . all i see is a black screen that is lit. when i connect it to the charger nothing happens. please help me!
There's no software fix for a hardware issue. Make an appointment at any Apple store, an out of warranty replacement is US $199 for an iPhone 4S. It that's too much money, find a third-party repair service. But, be aware, if a third-party touches your phone, you void all support from Apple & forfeit the right to an out of warranty replacement. Also, since Apple does not sell parts, there is no way to determine if any parts used to fix your phone are genuine or knock offs.

I woke up this morning and my iphone was dead. I have been using the assisted touch setting because one day for no particular reason my sleep button stopped working, so I can't even try a hard reset now. The phone never had a bad drop and the only way it could be water damaged is from being in a steamy bathroom. If anyone has a suggestion as to how to get my phone to work again, Please leave a suggestion!!
Thank youIt could be that your button has justy gone out. You may try getting compressed air to blow out any dust in there. If that doesn't work, you may have to get your button and ribbon replaced.

Are you using a case to protect the iPhone? If you are try taking it off and seeing if the button works normally then.
If you don't have a case on the iPhone, try restarting or restoring the iPhone.
If that doesn't take care of it, the iPhone will need service. -
i have read ur forgotten password or device disabled after entering wrong password. iphone is desabled dont have computer i conected it to before and power button is broke so how can i get back into my iphone?
You will have to restore the phone and set up as New. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212. The part you need is near the bottom, "If you have never synced your device with iTunes...". You will lose any content that is not backed up in iCloud.

do you think apple will still cover this under a replacement warrenty?Depends how that happened and how long the warranty is still left .....u can replace the screen ...and does the home button work? If so then go to settings> general> accessibility >assistive touch( it has many functions like locking the screen ,screenshotting just by touching the screen

Ios 7.1.2 froze my iphone 5, cant reboot as my sleep button does not work! What do i do?
was updating my ios and then it went to white screen with the apple and loading bar. it loaded only near half way but then froze!

not sure what to do now?I had the same issue. Basically you need to get the phone to reboot. I suspect waiting for the battery to run out would do this, but I didn't want to wait for it. iTunes would recognize my phone when I plugged it into my PC, though the phone was still locked up during update (black screen with apple symbol and progress bar at around 1/3). I didn't want to go through the hassle of a full restore so I found a small Windows program called reiboot that was able to place my phone into recovery mode. Then it let me take it out of recovery mode, which caused the phone to reboot (i think other programs like tiny umbrella may do the same thing). After a reboot, it showed the update screen for a minute, then started up running 7.1.2 fine.

It is not the app, it is Find My iPhone enabled with your iCloud account settings on the iPhone.

Brought iPod 4 for Daughter, she put on Passcode and she can't remember it, the ipod is saying "ipod is disabled" connect to itunes. Connented to iTunes come up with need to put passcode. The on/off button does not work, can't turn off and hold home button to reset please help.

My IPad 2 external speaker does not work and the original headphones have popping sound when used. This all occurred at the same time as my IPhone and IPod headphones only plays mono (and no, the "mono" option is not on) with the original headphones, as well as, other headphones tested. How can there be audio issue for all these devices at the same time?
As you may have noted from the list of Apple devices I own, I believed in the Apple and the products it was producing; but it is hard to believe from my experience and the other voices within the Apple Community that we are all experiencing the same hardware issues. Especially since I recently, I upgraded to an IPhone 4g (no, my faith in IPhone 5 series is very little) and is experiencing the same audio problem as described above. So now, I am off to the Apple store again to be told that it’s a hardware problem on new IPhone. Really? Apple, what happen to the pride in the product you were producing?Everyone does things a little differently. I love to "jam " along with iTunes ( or old Lp's) . Always have. That's where/how I've learned to play .
I'm sure leonieDF is giving a proper way to jam along on a keyboard with an iTune. He blows my mind all the time with what he knows. Nuff respects to him !
What I do is make a GB project I call "Jam With". I'll make several new tracks that are blank. Just has a few instruments named in the blank tracks. You can change those per song ...
Because I'm not concerned about changing the pitch / key.... of the iTune or the tempo ... I can simply play along with it.

My iphone4s does not turn on,when I connect to power ,it shows the message "connect to itunes" but when I connect to iTunes,my pc does not detect my phone,so iTunes does not detect my iPhone.
Are you running the most recent version of iTunes for Windows on your PC? You may be running an older version that is incompatible with the 4s.
