HT4061 my iphone is locked in itunes. it lets me slide to unlock it for emergency calls only. Help!!!!!!!
I can't do anything with it and I don't have the serial number as it was as is when I got it. It will slide to unlock but that's it. It goes strait to mergecy calls and that's it. The seller said it was locked in. Itunes or something. Idk really aggrevated with it.
Restore the device using iTunes.
And you can find the serial number if you read the articel you linked from.

Remove the SIM tray. The serial number and IMEI will be printed on the SIM tray as shown below.

If you want to Restore your iPhone, which will erase everything on the iPhone a put it back to Factory Settings. Then: open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, click Restore Button of iTunes.

I have recently got an iPhone 4 out of no where it has decided to think that my headphones are in and they are not but does work with headphones in.
Then later on within the same day it after turning my phone on and putting it on charge it comes to the screen stating to connect to iTunes/emergency calls only/no service so I connect it iTunes and it says we are unavailable to continue with your activation at this time. Please try again later, or contact customer care.
HELP!the same problem but i used it already for 3 years my iphone 4, when i update to ios 6.1.3 version, now is failure like said.

Why my apps are not transferring from PC to iPhone 5? When I connected to PC the icon shows when I select apps it show 'will install' but it never show on iPhone, I re installed iTunes, deleted all apps and downloaded again but its not working pls help.
Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

IPHONE 4S stuck in emergency call only mode. I got to the end of the restore process and itunes says to enter passcode but the phone still says emergency call only and still tells me to connect to itunes. please help. the link that repondants have been posting does not tell me anything!

Enter the pass code you set up when locking the phone or the screen lock code already in use on the phone if you weren't required to set one up when you locked it. -
i have just got my 3gs back from my daughter and i have put my sim card in and it comes up as emergency calls only. That is my first problem then when i plug it into itunes it only recognises it as her iphone can anyone help my please ?
I agree with wjosten. Sounds like a sim card issue. Was your sim card removed from a working,activated phone? I've switched sim cards in an iphone multilple times and never had a problem. You might try removing the sim card and reinstalling.

iphone 5 says phone disabled connect to itunes. when you connect it itunes says to acknowledge so itunes can help. phone says disabled emergency calls only. how can i fix this?
have you tried restarting it via holding down the Home and Lock buttons if that wont work then i suggest making an appointment with the closest Apple store

Reboot your computer
Connect the USB end of the cable to a USB port directly on the computer, not a hub
Disable your firewall and antivirus
Launch iTunes
Disconnect the phone from the other end of the cable
Hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons until the screen goes black, then release the SLEEP button but contiune holding the HOME button
Connect the cable to the phone while still holding HOME
Wait for iTunes to recognize a phone in "recovery mode", then release HOME and your phone should restore. -
since I have iTunes match, why does my iTunes library not appear in iPhoto music options for slideshow?; only songs purchased or placed on iTunes over a year ago appear in the iPhoto library under the iTunes or purchased option.

Yes, I am signed in to iTunes match on the macbook pro, iPhone , & iPad (all updated & correct music libraries) where I bought all the tunes but still no updated tunes on the iPhoto music library after 3 days of being on iTunes match.

Are you a Sprint customer? If so, contact Sprint and see if you qualify to have it unlocked for use on non US carriers.
If you are not a Sprint customer, sell it to someone in the US who can use it. Sprint will only unlock iPhones for current Sprint customers in good standing. -
A Voice is reading everything that I click on, on my lock screen out loud but doesn't let me slide to unlock ect i canny access the phone

Hi everyone, I really need some help.
I bought my jailbroken iPhone 3G from Hong Kong on eBay a few months back. Everything was working fine on iOS 4.2.1, except the battery life was very poor. After getting the battery replaced there was no improvement. So my boyfriend suggested I try restoring the phone with iTunes as it was supposed to improve the battery life.
I plugged my phone in and went through the restore process, only to receive "iTunes Error 1015". After this my iPhone went into recovery mode and stayed put. I tried using a YouTube tutorial and TinyUmbrella to help me out of the error, but it only made my phone go to the "Emergency calls only" screen and now the phone will not appear in iTunes as it says the SIM card that has worked perfectly with iTunes every other time is not supported. I am at a total loss as for what I am meant to do. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I found your problem.
All sorts of things can go wrong with jailbroken phones, it's never a good idea to do so. Not to mention, it means you won't be getting much help on here.
