HT4061 My screen has frozen on the lock screen
I have tried re-setting my phone. I can do this but afterwards, the screen is still locked. I need help please as my phone is unusable at the moment
Press and hold the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears.
If the problem continues, restore the device, first from backup then as new until the problem is resolved.
If this does not resolve, take the device to Apple for evaluation.

i have connected it to itunes like i was told to do and it wont do anything because its locked with a passcode and its frozen on the lock screen and will not let me enter myt passcode and after a while it just shuts off, it has been doing this for almost 48 hours. I was told to hold the home button and power button to shut it down and that I could then restart it and it would work... Nothing has helped, What can I try???

If that does not resolve, restore the device via iTunes on the computer.
If all else fails, take the device to Apple (or whomever provides support in your country) for evaluation and possible replacement. -

If you are having the same issue on several computers then it is a hardware issue! Not a software issue! Replacement is the only resolution!

My iPhone 5c is frozen on the lock screen with a text message on it. When I try and swipe the screen it sticks about halfway through the swipe. What do I do?
A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure. -
The Touch ID symbol has disappeared off the Lock Screen of my iPhone 5S since upgrading to IOS 7.1. Is any one else experiencing this. Any recommendations for fixes? The finger scan in Settings seems to be working OK for me.

You have Zoom on... double tap with three fingers to turn it off. Go into Settings > General > Accessibility to disable it.
If that doesn't work...
Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider if, it comes up. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings. -

You can also Force close apps
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe the app's windows upwards to close
3. The app will fly off the screen

My iPhone is frozen at the lock screen and will not unlock
For the past few months my iPhone 4S has been not acting good since I updated it to iOS 7. At random times it will go to a black screen and not respond for certain amount for time. Well today my iPhone went to that black screen and would not respond. Once I had someone call my phone the black screen went away and started acting normal as usual. Then once I tried to slide and unlock my phone it would not respond, When I tried to connect it to iTunes it connects and backs up but it will not restore. It had be stuck on the lock screen for almost 3 hours. battery life shows 100%. It shows the time as 8:38 because that is the time it stopped responding. The slide to unlock is still glowing but I can not slide to unlock my phone.
I have no clue on what is going or how to fix the problem. Could someone please help.Hello, John2295.

Try a reset: Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

IPhone 6's frozen on the lock screen
Trying to delete the emails on the lock screen. When I used Touch ID to complete this action, my iphone 6 was frozen after three times attempts. I knew that I'd need to key in the password after five attempts for unlocked the Phone. But to this deleted emails action on the lock screen, it's only allowed three attemps then two more attempts will unlock the phone instead. This problem is occurred after the latest update. Just wondering any other users may have the same issue.
Reset, hold both the home and power buttons for about 10 seconds until the iPhone restarts itself. Then delete all the running apps from background memory. If still problem, consider Restoring iPhone with iTunes on computer.

I have a 2009 mac book, with face time 1.0.2 seam to be loosing the mic after a couple of min into a face time chat, I check all system preff in system and face time all seam to be in order ect, but the mic goes dead after a while ? Thanks
