I suggest you immediately make a backup of your data. You don't know if or when the computer will show some symptoms from the drop. You may want to, for piece of mind, take the computer to an authorised service center for assessment. No one here can assess any internal damage you may have done.

I was installing updates when it said it had to reboot. Well,it went off and never came back on. Now it beeps about five times. What up wit dat?

I had just performed a cleanup. Afterwards,my auto update popped up. I can't remember what was updating. Well after updating, it said it would need to reboot to finish the updates. It shut down everything, then went off. And never came back on. After about five minutes, it started beeping. It beeps about five times then stops. Meanwhile, there is no sound from the computer. No drives, no fans, nothing..it doesn't do anything. My know-it-all wife says it's fried, tell me it's not.

1 beep = no RAM installed
2 beeps = incompatible RAM types
3 beeps = no good banks
4 beeps = no good boot images in the boot ROM (and/or bad sys config block)
5 beeps = processor is not usable
In addition to the beeps, on some computers the power LED will flash a corresponding number of times plus one. The LED will repeat the sequence after approximately a 5-second pause. The tones are only played once.
Note: In this case, a flash is considered to be 1/4 second or 250 ms or greater in length.

My iPhone (3GS) decided to turn itself off and never came back on!!!

I still didn't do the last update on it yet. I can't remember the last one.
Anyway, I used a few of my apps this morning, was using the dictionary with my son ...
I downloaded an app for cursive handwriting. We turned it on and checked it out.
I guess I set my phone down on the table, continued with our lesson, and next thing I know ...
Picked up my phone and it was off. Try to turn it on on the button, nothing. Connected to my PC, didn't even acknowledged that there was a "new hardware" connected. Plugged it in the wall charger ... nothing!
Oh, it has been charging all night, just like every night.
Any ideas on what this could possibly be?

UP2414Q, turns off and never goes back

I'm experiencing random problem: monitor goes black, signal lost and that's it. Only thing that helps is a reboot. It is VERY annoying. Second one: Dell monitor manager in tray freezes picture for like 4 seconds every 15 seconds from time to time. Only way to stop it , turn it off. Is there any solution?

How long have you had your phone? Because if you've had it a long time, the battery in the phone might of died on you. Or have you dropped it in water, snow, from high up? All those things could of disconnected something internally in your phone, or permentaly damaged the internal hard drive its self, or the sims card.

How, EXACTLY, did you get it "unlocked"? ONLY the carrier it's locked to can authorize unlocking it. Anything else is a hack.
You can not get help here for a hacked phone.

It could just be the power. Apple says you should completely drain the battery and completely recharge it at least once a month. When completely drained, as they say, it takes a bit after being plugged in again for the iPhone to start responding again.

Try resetting the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.
If that does not work, plug it into a wall outlet for about 20 minutes then try a reset.
If it still will not turn on, take it to Apple.

My screen went Blue

Im a new user to Mac and have had my mac pro for 3 weeks, tonight the screen went blue and wouldnt do anything, i had to turn it off to clear it and wondered if anyone could shed some light as to why, I cant remember if I was looking at FB or my usual footie forum.

OK, well it's possible it wasn't anything to worry about. BTW I'm in the US so I'm guessing by FB you mean Football or what we call Soccer.
As far as the updates I would recommend running Software Update about once per week. You can set your computer to do this automatically in System Preferences - Software Update and then make the change to your preference.
If you get a similar crash you should then begin using Activity Monitor (Applications - Utilities- Activity Monitor) and see if any apps are using up too much RAM or if anything is taking too much % CPU. If you can't spot anything then immediately call AppleCare (number is in your manual), you have 90 days of free phone support or if you purchased AppleCare that is extended to 3 years as is your warranty.
