my iphone5 has a logo of itunes and a plug going up the screen to the logo how do I fix this, can't get it to respond to anything and I've done the restart with the start button and round button at the same time

Is the phone displaying the connect to iTunes picture on the screen instead of the normal unlock. If so, something may have crashed (big-time) resulting in a re-set.
Is there any chance that someone else is signed into iTunes on the computer at the moment rather than your normal iTunes account? That may cause this as well.
At this stage, you could try to manually back it up first (which would be a very good idea), but it sounds like you don't have much choice other than to restore or set it up as new.
Has it done this repeatedly? or is this the first time you've seen this? -

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

No, sounds like when you dropped it an cracked the screen it may have also damaged the logic board or the repair person damaged a cable.

I figured it out. You have to have location services turned on specifically for the native weather app. My husband already did and that's why his was working. In the previous ios, I chose to disable location services to save battery and had the widget set to show weather for my home city regardless of where I was. Now that doesn't appear to be an option. Hopefully it won't drain my battery too much.

My recommendation is to restart the iPhone. All you do is hold down the top button and hold down the home button for 5 seconds untill it automatically shuts down. Then click the top button untill you see a grey apple on your screen.

I was going to use iExplorer to try to copy Notes from iphone 4 to my iMac but changed my mind after downloading iExplorer to my iMac. Deleted iExplorer from my iMac. Now my Mac won't recognize when my iPhone is plugged in. Is iExplorer the problem? How do I fix this?

so I have an iPhone 5c bought last summer, so it's not even a year old. I have never had any problems with the wifi until a day ago. Yesterday I updated to ios8.2 and my pone became really slow and buggy. And it won't connect to the wifi. I checked on my tablet and the wifi works fine on there. How do I fix this problem?
What troubleshooting steps have you attempted to correct this issue? I have a 5s running iOS 8.2 and have not experienced any problems. User troubleshooting steps are restart, reset, restore from backup and restore as new. Make sure you make a backup of the device before attempting any troubleshooting. If you go through all of the steps, including restore as new and then test the device before adding any content back to it and it is still not functioning correctly, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have the hardware checked. If it functions correctly when restored as new, then try restoring the backup again. If it acts up after that, then there is something corrupt in your backup file. Restore as new again and sync your content back manually.

I was away for 6 weeks backpacking in europe with my iPod, and I got back yesterday, and now it won't sync with my laptop anymore, the circle has just been spinning, and I can't eject it. It did charge though.
- Close iTunes, force close if necessary. Then didconnect the iPod and reboot the computer and try again
- If you still having problem, reset the iPod . Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next place the iPod in Recovery mode and try to restore.
- Then try DFU mode.

- If you can't turn the iPod off (that is requiored for recovery and DFU mode, then try letting the battery fullydrain. After charging for at least an hour try everything again. -

I just tried to sync my phone to my itunes acct to load new music onto my phone and it gave me a message saying that it was unable to sync b/c "the sync session failed to start".
