I would first try to reset the PRAM.

Then try booting into Safe Mode
(Hold shift upon powering the unit on and wait. A loading bar will appear under the Apple Logo. This may take awhile.)

I, too, love everything about my phone. The other day I tried to crash my Z10 by running multiple apps and having videos running in the background. Do you think my Z10 showed any signs of slowing down? Nothing doing! It ran as smooth as silk. I'm very impressed.

I would recommend taking a look at the troubleshooting steps for unexpected power off issues found in the article below.
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.

HT1476 My phone was fully charged and while talkng, it went to a blank screen. It will not come back on. I have tried turning it off and back on, but it doesn't do anything, just keeps the blank screen.

While talking on the phone this morning, it was fully charged, the screen went blank and I could no longer use the phone. I tried turing it off and then on, but it still ghad a blank screen. I even tried charging the phone, but it still has a blank screen.

I am sorry to hear about your phone.
You could try connecting it to your laptop and see if itune recognises the phone.
If it does then make a backup of your phone.
You could then restore it and see if it helps.
It shouldn't be much of a problem if its a software issue but if something went wrong with the hardware then you might have to go to an Apple store.

Another charging source? Does iTunes see the iPod when you connect to your computer?
Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and cracked or broken plastic.
If you have a bad dock connector, Apple will only exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $99, $149 or $199 depending upon the capacity. You can Google for third-party places that will replace the dock connector.

I cannot get to my IMEI as my iPhone 4 is dead nothing, will not restore comes back as Error 1600. I would like to get service to look at it to see if it is worth repairing but they will only do so if I post an IMEI number but I am unable to do so without seeing it on the screen and I do not have a back up as the PC I had crashed also about 6 months ago, a new Macbook has taken its place but only after my phone crashed. So i did the unlock got it all and checked on att and they said it was unlocked. i did the restore to ios 5.1 and activated it and all. when i put in my t-mobile sim it didnt even said there was no sim card install i checked the carrier and it says it is still on att 12.0 for carrier. what do i do?

2# An AT&T Real MicroSIM(not one that has been cut down) must be in the phone.
