I installed bootcamp 4.0 4033 so that I can install windows 7 32 bit on my mac. Everything works fine until I try to install the drivers and I get an error message stating the version of windows does not work with the drivers I am trying to install. I have a feeling somehow I am downloading 64 bit drivers when I need 32 bit. I spoke to Apple and they said I can't use 32 bit windows.. but that is not what the support site says (it says I can as long as I use bootcamp 4, not 5). Also, my bootcamp assistant is version 5.. I have no idea if that matters. Help please.. been searching online for hours.

I can't figure this out for some reason.
I want to use a template in DVD studio pro and have the button text fade in at a certain point and have it be highlitghed when it is selected. It seems like it should be a simple thing but I can't figure out how to do it.

HT1349 I can no update my itunes for some reason for the first time having issues nothing happens
I've never had an issue before with updating itunes, but this time, there is an update available and it will not update it. Nothing happens. Everything else in iTunes appears normal as far as apps are there, songs, tones etc... that I've recently purchased. I want to update iTunes then sync my phone. Well, I went ahead and tried to sync my phone without updating iTunes and when I connected my phone I get this message.
"iTunes could not connect to this iPhone because an unlnown error occured (OxE80000001)"
I'm clueless as to what is going on. I've rebooted my computer and that is all.see your error code here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3221 follow instructions to resolve.

For some reason, I cannot change my desktop background no matter how many times I delete the "active" folder. It's as if it's locked. Any ideas how I can fix it?
Yes it sounds like you have a corrupted preference file.
The setting you make in individual programs get saved to a Preference file in your Users/Library/Preferences folder.
All you have to do is drag out the old file to the desktop, reboot and load the program and the preference file gets rebuilt without your preferences which you reset.
For your case I beleive the preference file is
com.apple.desktop.plist -
I can't seem to update my apps or make any purchases on from my account. Nothing has changed with my credit card information and for some reason the iTunes Store tells me my information is incorrect. What do I do?
Yes, it's frustrating.
I don't have my iPod with me but, as I recall, the change is done in Settings/Store. That change will apply to NEW purchases. However, be aware that all purchases are permanently associated with the Apple ID that was originally used. Generally, it's only a problem when you need to update an app. IF you do your updating from iTunes and your logged in to the "wrong" ID, you'll need to log out and back in again. It's easier from the iPod as you do not need to log out/in but you do need to know the password.
Unfortunately, you can not merge IDs nor can you transfer purchases from one ID to another. Go here to find out exactly what you have. I have the same problem so I deliberately made both passwords identical to make things slightly easier for me. -

I figured it out. Copy the picture from where you have it stored on your computer, and paste into the text line of the iMessage. Simple!

For some reason this stopped working on firefox a week or so ago. I have tried to uninstall and install firefox again but the problem still persists. I've tried both chrome and explorer and they don't seem to have this problem.

I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. Went through this step-by-step, but alas it did not solve the problem. For some reason I can download mail on my Macbook Pro and iPhone, but no my iMac. Connection Doctor shows all green lights. This started today when I was prompted to re-enter incoming mail server passwords. I re-entered passowrds yet again to make sure they were correct. Rebuilt the inBox. Connection Doctor continues to show all green lights, but am still unable to download mail to the inbox. Has anyone else ever run into this problem?
I have the exact same problem trying to use the Remote app on both my iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 with either my Mac or ATV2. My Remote app used to work on my phone - I can't recall if I ever actually used it with my iPad, but when I tried today, I got all the same results as you did (on both iPad, and then iPhone). I was using my ATV2 to play music from iTunes on my Mac and wanted to use the Remote app, but it would not connect to either device no matter what I did.

Whenever I get a picture text and click on the picture to view it in a larger format, the picture is dark. I have to run my hand across the bottom of the screen on what looks like a pencil. Does anyone know how to stop the phone from doing this?
