I just Downloaded Final Cut Pro Yesterday, Today I Went To Check It Out And Noticed I didn't have any Final Cut Pro Sound Effects. Everyone says there is two folders with the same name, one grey one blue, but there both grey for me. I go into finder and there is no such folder anywhere.

If you were looking for help, I assume you would have told us about your sound card, how your system is configured, whether you are using a desktop/window manager, which one, the articles in the wiki you have researched, and what you have tried.
Edit: I'm apparently in a bad mood. I'm going to go outside and do some yard work. It is a beautiful 75 degree F day here in So Cal

Satellite P30-145: Don't have an audio device in 'Sounds and Audio devices'
Hi guys,
I've only just fixed one problem with the help of one fantastic member but now I have another!
All of a sudden my speakers decide not to work!! I checked the volume etc and alll was fine but when I went in control panel>sounds and audio devices it says I don't have an audio device!!!
It worked fine this morning and I havn't done anything that could have done this.
These problems I'm having are all spontaneous, I don't know what's going on!
Does anyone know how I can fix this and does anyone suspect virus activity? (I have done a scan which said I don't have any)

Did you check the device manager?? Is the sound card listed properly in the device manager or some yellow exclamation marks appear?
Did you try to reinstall the sound driver? If not, please try it.
Of course I would also recommend to update the anti virus applications and to scan the system for virus and malware -

My 16gb iPhone 4S keep tell me that my storage is almost full and I don't have enough space for any upgrades. I don't have any music or videos on my phone. I have updated my iPhone 3Gs to the latest software in an attempt to iron out a problem with a new telephone network provider (Tmobile). I had backed up my phone before I did this. Now I have lost my music and apps. I can't sync the phone with my Mac, I can't re-download from iTunes as the phone says I don't have any music or apps available to re-download although it all shows up on my Mac. The music and app content cannot be restored when I try to restore the phone from the back up I madeon my Mac. Help!
Working on that now. I'm just getting frustrated that everytime I run updates for the phone I end up with tech problems that I have to spend time solving as opposed to updates that actually improve my usage. Now I will once again get to spend hours reloading my phone all for updates that didn't affect my usage in the first place.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -
i've downloaded some free games for my iphone4 but they are using my internet because they have ads. does anyone know if there are any games that don't have these ads and don't require internet AT ALL?and if i disable my internet connexion, does it help?

I have an old ipod (it's the very thin oblong one in purple, the one before the one that does video) and want to know how to get everything off it and into my iTunes library. My old computer died and the original library was lost, so don't have any of the content saved anywhere else. I now have an iPhone 5S and listen to music on that, so want to be able to listen to things from the old ipod too.

I am getting an error message that "A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time" and I don't have any copy open. How do I correct this problem? I really like firefox because it runs many technical programs on the web that do not work with safari. I have FireFox version 32.0.1 installed on my MacPro PowerBook OS X 10.7.5. My activity monitor does not show any FireFox activity, so do not know what it is seeing
This worked, I used the method described in this link http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=365156, and opened the Mozilla profile screen with the terminal on my mac, using the language given in the links. Then I duplicated my original profile to save the bookmarks, etc. Put them in a folder listed Duplicate profile with the date. With the open profile screen, I deleted my original profile, created new profile folder and then a new profile. Note that profile cannot be created in the system library, it must be created on the disc, because the library will not allow writing into it. After I created my new profile folder, I dragged all my old information into it, and it worked. Firefox closed and the error disappeared. You must be VERY careful to make sure Firefox is closed anytime you are doing anything with the profile folders. I think that is what caused my original problem.

I am trying to finish the installation of Reader from Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium and it will not let me proceed because it says "Please close the following applications to continue. Google Chrome.exe" , I don't have any Chrome applications open and I have even gone to Add/Remove Programs and removed Chrome from my PC. Still get error. Any advice?
