Power button and volume rocker not working
I have bought new Microsoft Lumia 535 yesterday night. There was an update available when I brought it Home. I left it alone for half an hour for update to complete. When I returned it was blank, even if I try to switch it on it did not respond. I took the privilege of plunging it to charger and resetting it and still the result is same. By the way the volume rocker is also not responding. Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried a reset since you cleaned out the port?

my ipod nano 6th gen screen is white ive tried the hard disk mode with the power and volume buttons and it still wont work any suggestions?
You can try Restoring it in iTunes but I believe you will end up needing to have it serviced.

Ipod nano 6 gen power button and volume up and down not working, Ipod nano 6 gen power button and volume up and down not working
Try restarting your device. If that doesn't work, take it to an Apple store. If it is less than a year old and just stopped working, they will replace it for free (be sure to back it up to iTunes first). If you dropped it, you will have to pay because Apple will not replace a device due to "Human Error." If it is more than a year old, you will either have to pay to get it fixed, or have to pay to get it replaced.

my ipod 4G power button and volume button not working after updated to ios6.
i also experience wifi issue. my ipod can't detect any wifi signal.
so deppresing!
what should i do?
i can't put my ipod to sleep, can't adjust volume, can't shut off.
should i update to ios 6.1?
HELPTry:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
When iOS 6.1 comes out I would update. -

My ipod power an volume button are both broken what should i do??
Try here. Some of the fixes for the Home button are also applicable to the Power button.
fix for Home button
What happensed to the buttons? Is ther physical damage to the iPod that caused the problem?
Have you tried the standard troubleshooting of:
- reset.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod
to rule out a software problem? -
N86 media buttons and volume don't work with music
I used my N86 on a trip last week as my music player, and used the nokia remote attachment which I used to play/pause, skip, repeat and adjust volume with no problems. Just today I used my phone again, this time without the remote, or headphones, and now the media buttons on the end of the phone (when slid oposite the keypad) don't work, and the sound volume won't adjust with the volume key. I even tried with the remote and that didn't work either. The volume works fine with phone calls. Any ideas on what caused this?
PS I just updated to 20.115 and this did not correct the problem.

Solved!
Go to Solution.Sigh.. sorry to hear that. What is it with these phones that you have to format them all the time? (a rhetoric question, knowledgeable presons needn't answer )
(Trivia: search results for 'hard reset': 6738, search results for 'format': 16063, search results for 'factory reset': 4329)
You'll probably soon have that same problem again - my all means I don't hope you will, but I'm just guessing

Home button and volume doesn't work
My iphone 4 home button and the volume doesn't work. Have Besy Buy black tie protection plan but they want me to be without my phone for almost a month to repair. I can't do that. What can I do to fix myself?
You don't.
If you are under warranty, you can bring it to tha Apple Store and have them look at it. -
