Where is a rented movie from iTunes saved after it is download so I can play it?
Same place any other movie is saved.
On your computer? under Library>Movies
On your idevice? under the Videos app.

Rented movie vanished after download. Can't re-download.
I rented MIB3, downloaded it, it completed then hung on some kind of process I forgot the name of. I pressed play and it said you have 48hrs blah blah. I accepted. It still stayed on whatever process it was doing. I left it sitting doing that, came back and the power on my laptop had died. Now it's gone and I don't have the option to download it again. This was a few hours ago. Did I just loose my money?
never mind, I went to account and reported a problem with the rental.

I have just rented two movies and after download they are not visible anywhere for me to view. Usually in the iTunes menu there is an option call 'rentals' where rented movies sit until they expire, this is no longer visible. The movie files are listed in the finder under music/movies.... With the rest of my iTunes data, but they will not play in iTunes from there and I can't add them to my library for watching.
The only thing I am currently doing differently is that I have just subscribed to iTunes Match; would this affect my rentals?Hi Cmcb,
Under your Library list, you should see "Movies". Click on that, and you will see a screen with several tabs at the top - Rentals, Unwatched, Movies, Genres, Home Videos, etc.
As Hackintosh indicated above, click on the Rentals tab, and your movies will be displayed there. Doulbe click on one to start playing it.
If you do not have your sidebar showing, go up to View at the top, and click on Show Sidebar. Then you will see your Library lists on the sidebar, which will include Movies.

i have lost many of my music files and some video files from i movie projects,after downloading OSX 10.9 Mavericks .My previous Original i movie has lost some also. The projects just have a green bar where the music files were. The system says cannot locte missing file.

I rented a movie. It downloaded it wouldn't play. Now it is constantly tring to download. How can I stop this?
It should be in the video app. Or go to the leftmost home screen, called spotlight, and type if the first part of the title. If it is there, it will show up.

Ah, Verizon - that makes a difference. Call Verizon's activation number and re-activate your phone. They have an automated service, and also live support. The numbers should be in your documentation package if you can find it, or log in to your account on vzw.com.

After downloading IOS5, i can't access my itune and receive the following message "The Folder "Itune" is on locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder", noting that i access this folder in a normal way. Any clue ?
In my case its a new computer the old one was stolen and the time machine disk did not work for a restore but did for copying the info to the new mac

Like I said - I've never rented a movie but the way you typically delete them is to tap and hold down on the movie icon in the video app until the X appears and the tap the X to delete it. You have to hold down on the icon for a couple of seconds.
Or you can swipe to delete. If you tap on the movie icon to go to the next step where you can play the movie - where the play arrow is - swipe right to left across the description - or swipe left to right - and the red delete button pops up. -

Well, if you don't have enough space, then there's nothing wrong, right?
You can check available space under Settings> General> About or by plugging it into iTunes and looking at the color-coded bar. -

Anything that plays in QuickTime can be "shared" to iTunes and synced to videos.

It's clearly not impossible, just different than you expect. Create your playlist as you want it to appear in the Current tab (meaning don't dump every single song from your library in there, just the ones you want) and then save the playlist.

Look at save_absolute_paths_in_playlists in your mpd.conf. -
