As 99jon said, if you bought it on disc you should have both versions (mac is on disc 3) and a serial number that works with both. However, if you bought a download, while you should definitely try your serial number in the trial, if that fails you will need to contact adobe sales (NOT customer support) for a crossgrade. Do this soon, because most people expect PSE 11 out shortly and once that happens you might as well just buy the new version, since you'd have to pay the upgrade fee for the crossgrade since they'd send you the new version (and for PSE that's usually more than the street price of just buying it from a big box store or amazon).

I would recommend a few things here. If you havent already restart both your computer, and the iPad.

Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesnt work then close all the apps that are running on the iPad with this process:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it.
Double-click the Home button and try opening the app again.

Do this with iTunes on your computer. After you have re-downloaded every app one by one, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for the device's sync preferences along with selecting the apps below that you want transferred to the device followed by a sync to re-install the apps on the device. -

My screen won't work, i have tried turning it off but i cant swipe the power down button because my screen doesnt work. I have only had my iphone 4s for one day and this has happened, someone please help me.
Did the trick! Not sure what I did to cause the screen to go numb, but this worked perfectly!!! I cleaned the screen and must have inadvertently selected something that locked the screen. This perfect solution kept me from having to run to the Apple Store. Many thanks.

I have a Adobde CC account but when i open the app to download the different software, i have illustrator, indesign, photoshop, bridge to install but premiere pro, after effects, lightroom, etc. to "test"...???
Before (2-3 monate before) i had no problem to access to lightroom & after effetcs...help me please. ThxThat's okay , besides I got nothing to do lol hehehe atleast I can make myself useful for someone else hehe
1)Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and look for file named hosts inside etc folder.
2)Copy the hosts file to Desktop and open the same with notepad.
Check with the hosts file entries , let me know if there are any Adobe entries like 127.0.01 xxx.,adobe.com .activate.adobe.com....etc?
If there are no Adobe entries in Hosts file .
If you wish , you may uinstall and reinstall the app .
You may try below steps :
Open Control Panel and Navigate to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features .
Under Program and Features list, locate Adobe Creative Cloud and uninstall it.
End all Adobe related Tasks from Task Manager.
Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder.
Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.
appdata
Then navigate to Local>Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.
Click on the below link and download Creative Cloud setup file and use the same to install the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

Once the installation process is completed , sign in and check.

Perpetual products which use serial numbers are platform specific. You will not be able to use the same serial on a windows machine.
In order to use Photoshop on both Windows and Mac you will have to go for a creative cloud subscription.

Hi I have an I pad 64 gig and internal wifi bought about 2 months ago. it keeps coming up with a message "this i pad has not been backed up" I have no idea how to do it can you help.
I also have an I phone 4s with the same message both are with telstra the I pad has a 12 month pre paid wifi contract and the phone is on a monthly contract.Sounds like you actually paying for cellular service and you really need to be on wifi to backup your ipad/iphone.
Normally you have to be connected to wifi and you can do manual backup by going to Settings- icloud- storage and backup and pressing backup now button. Start with your ipad, usually size of the backup smaller and return here if you encounter a problem. -
Hello can anyone help? I have sucessfully backed up my iTuines library to an external hard drive, but when backing up in the furture (Monthly) do I have to follow the same procedure again, and will this place an additonal copy of my iTunes library on my hard drive, so duplicating the back up and so rapidly fill my hard drive.
Ideally what I would like, is for the lateset back up to over write the original so saving space on my external hard drive. Many thanks ......SteveThe "consolidate" command has nothing to do with making backups. You use that command when you have had content in multiple places and you wish to have it now all in a single iTunes folder. If all of your content is already in the iTunes folder, then the "consolidate" command will be of no use to you. You will make further backups using whatever method you normally would use to make backups of your data in Windows.
