HT4101 Using a new lightning to SD card reader - nothing happens
Just get nothing when I connect the SD card reader. Seems to be a common problem? No error message, no photos automatically come up. Latest iPad and reader purchased from an Apple store 2 weeks ago. Tried 2 different SD cards on 2 different iPads. Nothing.
Any ideas?
Are the photo files .jpg or .raw?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

What size SD card? What type of SD card - SD, SDHC or SDXC?
Also try this - Plug the SD card into the slot before connecting the cable to the iPad.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately it didn't work. Have tried both kinds of restore. First restoring from backup and second as a new device (twice). Still get the same "Accessory not supported" message. Thank goodness I can use the old 30 pin SD reader with the lightning adaptor for my up-coming trip. I tried it again and it worked again. BUT I hate having a piece of Apple equipment that doesn't work.

Yes. Both adapters (the .2m adapter and small adapter with no cable) have built in DACs just for that purpose.

I personally have a speaker dock thing from iHome. It uses analog audio. I have tried it with both types of adapters and it works perfectly. -
Apple Lightning to SD Card Reader no longer working with iOS 8.0.2
I just tried to copy photos from my wedding to my iPhone 5 and iPad Mini w/Retina(both with iOS8.0.2), and I get the message "This device is not supported". I find this odd, as it is the official Apple branded SD card reader.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would all of a sudden not be working? I had no issues prior to updating to 8.0.2.
If it is just this version of iOS, I do hope that it is fixed in 8.1.The lightning to SD card reader has NEVER been supported on the iPhone only on iPads

PSE9 wont even install on new 0sx6.4 macbook?! nothing happens!

It's distributed as a disk image file. Double-click the file. A disk image will mount. Drag the application in that image to the Applications folder. Eject the image by dragging its icon on the Desktop to the Trash. You can then delete the disk image file.

I am using lightning SD camera reader with my iPad 4 running with iOS 6 without any problem. But I would like to upgrade to iOS 7. I saw some reviews
after upgrading the card reader is not working. I contacted apple support community people for the above issue recently through chat. They said the device should work even after upgrading. I have not yet upgraded. But iOS 7 is tempting with its amazing look. What do I do? If I upgrade and my SD card reader wont work then I will be in great disapppointment. Please help if any body has answer for my problem..

Use of CAC enabled sites (Smart Card Reader)
Would anyone happen to know if the PlayBook would support the use of the BlackBerry Smart Card Reader 2?
I would love to be able to access my DoD sites that require my CAC login using the BlackBerry Sled and my PlayBook. Thank you for any assistance in this matter.

I have a SCR331 and I am not able to get 10.5 to recognize my CAC card.
I do believe Leopard is recognizing and using the SCR331 but the problem
lies in the CAC Card Driver. Here are the details :
Hardware : SCR331 USB with firmware 5.22
CAC Card : Oberthur ID One v5.2

I keep getting a pop up on my iophone 5 that says "connect to itunes to use push notifications" I've connected to itunes and nothing happens. I cant use the phone as I can;t get the pop up to stop
So after exhausting countless hours I just added the App "Google Search". It's not as great of an interface but I can access Google Voice and keep tabs by just checking in every so often. Better than not having Google Voice at all.

I have an iPad (1). Trying to load photos. Connected a camera kit, inserted an SDHC card with photos. Nothing.... How do I get the photos loaded onto the iPad?

At first glance, your iPad should have reacted to the presence of the SDHC card.
Are you sure the card is SDHC and not SDXC? I do not think the newer XC format is compatible with the SD adapter in the Camera Connection Kit.
How did the photos get on the card? The iPad expects them to be in the same format as if they had been stored there by the camera. They should be in a folder named DCIS. Their file names should have 8 characters plus suffix.
Have you tried connecting the camera's USB cable to the USB adapter in the Camera Connection Kit?

It doesn't even open, and the new tab just closes. I don't know what happened, it was working fine just a little bit ago.
Try the following:
Create a Restore Point in case u need to back out of these changes.
Close and reopen Internet Explorer .
Click the Tools button, and then click Internet options.
Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.
In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, Check the "Delete Personal Setting" box and click Reset.
When IE finishes applying default settings, click Close, and then click OK.
Restart your PC for these changes to take effect.
If the above doesn't fix the problem it could be corrupt data in your login profile. To check this try creating a new login id and running ie in the new login.

It appears that you have apps that need updating that were pruchased from more than one account
- Go to settings>Store and sign out and sign into your account.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
