HT4108 Digital AV adapter does not support iPad 2. Error message "This accessory does not supported by iPad"
Just bought latest digital AV adapter MD098ZM/A. Does not work with my iPad 2. Error messade" this accessory is not supported by iPad" while the package saying it supports iPad 2 and later.
It's works with the new iPad. It said "accessory not supported". I clicked OK and now it works.

Help!If it is a lightning to 30 pin adaptor, and you have a 7th Generation Nano it has to fit the Nano.

You need to contact Sony and see if they model you have is compatible with the docking adapter. It may not be. -
Ipod is 80G Classic and displaying no other unusal or faulty behaviour. In the couple of days between the dock working fine and the error message appearing, there were no software updates. The ipod is actually a couple of years older than the dock- what's going on?
So the iPod worked previously on this particular dock? Does Altec's support website state that it supports your particular model iPod Classic?
Have you tried a hard reset of the device with it still connected to the dock? To do this, first make sure the hold switch is in the Off position, then press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
It wouldn't hurt to also check the dock connector on the iPod for any signs of debrisa and bent or corroded pins that could be blocking the connection between the dock and iPod.

My Iphone seems to have an accessory problem that just began a few days ago. It seems to show up when I am charging it. I have had this charger ever since I bought the phone and now it's not compatible. I can't afford a new charger, much less a new IPhone 4.
You should use an Apple charger and Apple cable. If you have the ones that came with the iPhone 4 from its Apple box, then there wouldn't be any charge. Otherwise, purchasing these accessories is considerably cheaper than purchasing a new iPhone.

Try downloading the trial. It ought to detect that you have a 64-bit system.
You aren't using Vista, are you? PSE 13 requires at least win 7 and I think a few folks with vista have gotten a similar error message on trying to install it. -
When I try to install adobe photoshop 13 on my computer it comes up with the following error message " This installer does not support installation on a 64bit windows operating system" error code 6. How to I recify this? TIA
You can try downloading the 64 bit version. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately it didn't work. Have tried both kinds of restore. First restoring from backup and second as a new device (twice). Still get the same "Accessory not supported" message. Thank goodness I can use the old 30 pin SD reader with the lightning adaptor for my up-coming trip. I tried it again and it worked again. BUT I hate having a piece of Apple equipment that doesn't work.

I replaced a bad samasung hard drive in my Pavilion dv6z 3200 with a Seagate Momentus XT 750 GB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 32 MB Cache 2.5 Inch Solid State Hybrid Drive ST750LX003 and when trying to restore Windows 7 64 bit OS get the error message "this computer is not supported by the system recovery media"
Is the new hdd at least as large a capacity as the original? Can be larger capacity, but sometimes smaller will cause error.
Enter BIOS by tapping F10 key. Is all system info intact/complete?

My iPhone 5 got problem when connect with lighting cable, this will keep pop up message "this accessory may not be supported", I can't charge or sync at all. Phone has been working perfectly until three days ago, while charging the message 'This accessory may not be supported' appeared after two minutes and it then stops charging. I have tried two different Apple chargers both into mains socket and into the computer USB, I've also put it on the Sony socking station, nothing works. It has the latest Update, IOS 7.1.2.
Any information would be appreciated (if I am in the wrong 'Community' please advise which one would be better suited).
Thanks.We came to the conclusion that the charger part was completely broken so assuming we had nothing to lose we scrubbed it with a toothbrush hard and now it works almost normally, warning comes up occasionally still but at least we can charge it fully, even though it takes it bit of babysitting. For Info : Friend took my screen shot of the warning to an Apple Shop and they were quite arrogant stating that they had no idea what the warning was for (obviously Apple do as they have created the warning) and insisted they couldn't give any advice without seeing the phone; not the best customer service!

iChat uses several port as they are called over the internet to do different things
Text Chats and Video Chats are on different Ports.
You probably don't have the port open.
Use UPnP in your router if it has it.

When I try to save a form as “Reader Extended PDF” in Acrobat Pro, I get an error message “This document could not be reader enabled”.
The steps I’m following are described below:
1. Insert electronic signatures
- In Tasks, click on “Add New Field -> Digital Signature”.
- Move the square to the place where you want to put the signature and click.
- Fill in the “field name” with the name of the person who has to sign here.
- When it is done, click anywhere on the screen.
- In Tasks, click on “Close Form editing”.
- Go to menu “File -> Save as -> Reader Extended PDF ->Enable additional features”, click on “Save now”.
- Fill in the file name and click on “Save”.
2. Save the Form
- In Tasks, click on “Close Form editing”.
- Go to menu “File -> Save as -> Reader Extended PDF ->Enable additional features”, click on “Save now”.
- Fill in the file name and click on “Save”.

Need advice on a saving file issue. I'm having problem with saving a .pdf file to computer. Continually get an error message " This document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (21). This is new as this error message just recently started to pop-up.

A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... then download the base install for Adobe Reader 11.0.
Then download each of the individual updates and run them sequentially.
I've installed back up to the last security update which is version 08 and have been able to do normal Save As operations.
You will have to disable automatic updates in order to stay at version 08 until Adobe resolves this issue in a later release.
