HT4113 ipad blocked because of wrong passcode

I forgot the passcode for my ipad, I tried a few times but the codes I entered were wrong, and now my ipad is blocked My ipad gives the message that I must connect to itunes but when I do this, I get the message on itunes that I first need to enter the passcode on my ipad, which I cannot do because it's blocked. So I'm running in circles here. What should I do now?

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad into Recovery Mode

Hi, I have an iPhone 1 that is blocked (because of wrong passwords) and isn't recognized by iTunes. How do I fix this? Thanks for your help!
By the way I'm using a MacMini and all operating systems are up to date including iTunes.

First try a Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode.
Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11.1.5) Installed on your computer

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

  • How to enable my ipad air coz of wrong password and Findmy ipad air is on

How to enable my ipad air because of wrong password and i cannot recover or restore my device coz Find my ipad setting in my device is on. Itunes said this must be off before anything, but i cannot turn it off in setting because device is disable. Help me

    Try DFU mode:
Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
       1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
       2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
                  * If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
      3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
      4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button:
      5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:
      6. Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
    Additional Information:
If you have a problem getting into recovery mode then try: RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode.
Note: When using recovery mode, you can only restore the device. All user content on the device will be erased, but if you had previously synced with iTunes on this computer, you can restore from a previous backup. See this article for more information.

  • My ipad is blocked due to wrong entry of passcode, my ipad is blocked due to wrong entry of passcode

my ipad is blocked due to wrong entry of passcode, NOW plz assist me how to get this issue resolved ?

You will need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - your computer's iTunes should then recognise the iPad and you will then be able to reset the iPad.
As it's not the computer that you sync to then (from here) :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

  • HT4061 my ipad is blocked, because I entered wrong password many times. what can I do

my ipad is blocked, because I entered wrong password many times. what can I do

Restore the iPad from the computer to which the iPod is synced. For information and instructions, see:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
If that will not work, you'll need to put the iPad into Recovery Mode and then try the Restore again:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If that still doesn't work, as a last resort try DFU mode:
