HT4113 My Ipad is disabled and I'm attempting to sync with iTunes but keeps saying my passcode is disabled. How do I disable my passcode on my ipad through iTunes?
My ipad is disabled and it is asking me to connect to iTunes. I do this but now iTunes is saying cannot connect as I need to enter a password.

Just received IPad four yesterday and am having difficulting syncing with IMac. I receive this error message:
The iPad “Blaine's iPad” cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 11.1 or later. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes.
When I go to www.itunes.com I am unsusseful in making the download. Please step me through the process.

You might try contacting iTunes store support. Even though this is an ID that you want to use for iCloud, it's still an Apple ID. iTuens store support deals with Apple ID issues all the time and they may be able to help you. Just explain that you are trying to verify your primary email address for your Apple ID but are not receiving the verification email from Apple, despite multiple attempts to resend it. You might also check with your email provider to be sure they aren't blocking email from [email protected] as spam at their end. -
i just got the ibook g4 and i dont know how to set default or something like that i downloaded itunes and it says to choose an application to open itunes??? how do i do that

I want to download specific music to my IPad so I can access it off line. I have iOS 8 on my Mac mini and my pad. The artists, albums and playlists I have selected to sync on my Mac mini do not show up on my iPad. I am involved in international volunteer work and have periods where I don't have Internet access.

To manually manage the content, follow these instructions:
Connect the device to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. If your device isn't visible in the upper right corner of the screen, choose Library.
Click the Summary tab and select "Manually manage music and videos."
Click Apply.
Even when you enable manual management, you can still sync some content automatically. Select the iTunes U, Podcasts, Photos, or Info tab to enable automatic syncing for that content.
Manually add or remove content on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
After following the steps above, you can add individual songs, videos, and playlists from iTunes to your device. To add content to your device:
Select your device.
Click "On this Device."
Then choose "Add to" in the upper right corner.

If you do not have the password, you can only do a restore-resetting the iPad to factory condition.

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it.
This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. -
I forgot my password for my iphone 4 and it is now disabled. I am trying to restore it through itunes, but it say I have to put my passcode into my phone first. Is there a way to restore without using my passcode?
The instructions are in that link. Just follow them VERY CAREFULLY. Especially the part about:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes. [but DON'T connect it to the iPhone yet]
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see the iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen. -
I did an update on my ipad and now I have to restore it but it says I will lose everything How can I get my pictures on there before I restore my ipad to factory settings?
They will be gone from the iphone, but you should be syning all contacts to your computer regularly and should be importing all pics to your computer regularly, particularly before any update.

I have to restore my iphone 4s becasue it is saying "disabled connect to itunes" and it's never been synced with itunes. However the sleep/wake button is broken on the phone is there still away to restore without using it?
You can try, but the problem with that is you need battery power in order to restore. Once your phone has enough power to restore, it will still show the same message. To get the phone into either recovery mode or DFU mode requires the ability to first turn the phone off. But, you've got nothing to lose, so you might as well give it a shot.
