It sounds like you are unable to stop the phone from rebooting over and over on its own even after several restores with iTunes. I would next attempt resetting the device with this:
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Phone keep restarting

my phone keeps restarting when i plug it in to charge. almost every time. does this even with the car charger. its also ringing without displaying anything. ive restored the phone and its still doing the same. what should i do?

Restarting as when powering your iPhone off and on?
If you restored your iPhone from your iPhone's backup, have you also tried restoring your iPhone as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup?
If so with no change, time to give AppleCare a call at (800) 694-7466, or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try to sync you phone with iTunes to create a new backup before it restarts. Also try to import your photos (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) and back up your contacts if you can (sync them to iCloud in Settings>iCloud>Contacts>On or use an app like My Contact Backup). This is something where iPhone tools written by the jail break community could actually come in handy to self-fix your phone's issues. The primary thing to realize though is that Apple may be able to help with the problem themselves.
I don't personally jail break anymore, as I have no need to now, but I have experience with some of the tools out there. If you are having this issue and your phone was jail broken, then you might want to deal with it yourself rather than taking it to Apple. In many cases, it's totally solvable without too much trouble, and most likely you keep everything on it too. Before I go into details on that solution, let me exhaust the Apple support logic.
If your phone isn't jail broken, then Apple is going to be more cooperative in helping resolve this. If it isn't under warranty anymore, then that is a possible coin-toss. If it's not under warranty, but you purchased AppleCare+, then you might have a real good chance. Either way, you might just take it into an Apple store (you can make a reservation ahead of time), then explain the problem to them and see what they do. If it is under warranty and not jail broken, then they're absolutely going to find a way to make it right for you.
So the final logic boils down to whether you don't have it under warranty and Apple won't help, or you have jail broken it, or you just feel brave and want to try fixing it on your own. I'm not sure if I can mention specific tools here on the forum or not, but you should be able to easily google the tools which have Exit recovery, and Fix recovery as actions you can perform to try to fix the phone. Both of these may require that you know how to put your phone into DFU (device firmware update) mode, which is another thing you can easily search for. The tool I'm talking about may have a name that refers to a collapsible portable covering used in rain that may or may not happen to be some form of very small. I think one should be able to catch the reference here without me totally naming that tool.
I have used said tool myself in the past and it worked great on several occasions where my previous phones acted up. Having said that, I think Apple would appreciate me reminding you that they do not condone the use of such programs or tools which they have not authorized.

Hello, my iphone keeps resetting it self, and when it does comes up the apple symbol. than it goes right into a black screen witha little light.
WHY IS IT DOING THIS???

Same problem I did all the steps for trouble shooting. I even restored as new iPhone like the apple tech said which worked but for about a week only the crashed again. This time it's worst because I can't even restore or update it. My phone is bricked the worst part all this happened after I updated my phone to the new iOS 7 and to make it even worst apple won't replace my phone cuz I was a few days passed my warranty.

At the start of the month I got a new blackberry 9300 from T-Mobile UK. It kept restarting. I sent it back.
I got sent a new phone from T-Mobile. It keeps restarting. What is going on?
It's not continual restarting. It will work for a few hours. Then restart. Sometimes in the middle of a phone call, sometimes when I want to check my notes. Sometimes, less often, it just switches off. The red LED also does a good bit of flashing whilst all this is going on.
Memory is basically empty. It has the 2GB flashcard that came with it. I originally had the following apps installed: Mnemonsyne, Google Mail, Google Maps, Intertype Cryllic Keyboard and Beiks Russian Dictionary. Currently there is nothing installed because I have wiped it, and reinstalled the OS---and still it reboots. The OS is the latest version.
So, I'm lost. Two different phones, but the same problem. Anyone got a hint?

New Phone keeps Restarting...?

I got a new iPhone 3GS yesterday and it keeps restarting when I am using it. For example, I am typing a text message then the screen goes black then the apple comes on and it starts back up (also happens when doing other things). This is happening quite frequently. Am I hitting something to make it do this or have a setting wrong? I tried turning the phone off and on, but that didn't help...

Standard troubleshooting steps in order are power your iPhone off and on, an iPhone reset - which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release - ignoring the slide to turn off prompt when doing so (an iPhone reset does not affect any data or settings), restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup, and restoring with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup.
If no change after any of these steps in order, the iPhone includes a one year warranty. You can call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.
