My iPhone 4 keeps losing my notes? I learned thru this forum they get moved into a folder in my email account. Why is this happening? It is not where I want them. Is there a limit to how many notes you have? I only had about 10 different 1-page notes.

I had this same issue but then I figured out how to fix it. You can use the following steps:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Press your Yahoo! e-mail > Notes: Off

But in terms of my initial query; thanks for responding. But no, this is NOT the cause of the problem. I have auto sync and sync over wifi activated, but have also selected manually manage music and videos. Plus, all of my music and videos are on my macbook, absolutely all of it, so if it my phone was syncing with my macbook everything would still be on the phone. Life would be peachy if my phone jsut copied everything that was on my macbook, but unfortuantely it keeps deleting tracks for no apparent reason.
Any thoughts greatly welcomed, because at the moment i can only conclude that my iphone is crap.

As long as you share that AppleID for iCloud, you cannot. You are sharing a a single iCloud account and sync services. The only thing you can do is get a second AppleID and use it with iCloud - you do not have to use that new AppleID for anything but iCloud (ie. you can still share an AppleID for iTunes and App store purchases).
P.S. I am assuming you both want to sync your contacts with iCloud?

HT4191 how can i sort my iphone notes in alphabetical order?

I synced my MS Outlook notes through iTunes onto my iPhone 4S. The notes were in alphabetical order on my computer, but now they are in creation date order on the iPhone, making them almost useless (the notes contain subject-based information). Is there any way I can sort them into alphabetical order? Settings does not seem to have this ability. Alternatively, is there an app I can get that will offer sort options/functionality for my notes on the iPhone? Thank you all!

I played with "Reminders" app. It allows sorting (as you do for aligning cities in your weather app). And u have the option to choose a time to be notified/reminded to view it. Reminders have titles, then u can list related items under ea title as sub topics; these subs can later be moved to a NEW "title" if you need to subdivide (e.g., if a title is "To Do" but your list gets long and you want to break down the To Do list into "Shop" & "Chores"). This is done by tapping "details" then "list" when you're on the To Do page.

How can I stop my iPhone 5 from starting the music player randomly on its own?

I have an iPhone 5 running the latest version of iOS. Sometime last year (maybe shortly after I originally upgraded to iOS 7), the phone developed a nasty habit of starting up the music player during phone conversations when I connected to my Mazda's Bluetooth system. Oddly enough, I can hear the music playing over the phone conversation but the person on the other end of the phone line can't. To stop the music, I have to open the Music App and then close the App. Note that the Music App did NOT have to be previously open for the music to start, and the Music App doesn't usually show as an open App even after the music starts on its own. The problem has persisted through the last few iOS updates and it now happens in a broader range of circumstances (e.g., I have told the iPhone to forget the Mazda adapter, and it now does the same thing with my Plantronics Voyager Bluetooth headset). I usually have to go through this sequence at least twice per Bluetooth pairing session before the phone stops trying to start the music player on its own during phone calls.
The problem went away temporarily when I did a full reset of the phone, but it came back after a few days (even when I added apps & music back without restoring from an iOS backup).
Has anyone found a way to fix this problem once and for all? If I can find a fix, it's enough of an annoyance that it might convince me to go Android with my next phone. Thanks in advance...

I've tried syncing with itunes and icloud. The missing contacts are nowhere to be found. I just re-enter them on my iphone and proceed on my not so merry way. Next time I look for a contact, it might be there or it might not. It is not necessarily the same contact. It appears that my oldest contacts seem to be the ones disappearing

3 days ago, my phone started freezing very often. I would hold the sleep and home button for 6 seconds to restart it. After a while, it started turning off and on by itself. Just last night it had this lit up black screen. It was totally upresponsive and my iPhone did not show up in iTunes. I let the batter run out and than I charged it. It was fine for a couple of hours and than it started turning of and on by itself. It worsened to the point where right away when my iPhone 4 turned on, it turned off. Now it has a blue screen. Pressing the home and sleep button doesn't hel. It doesn't show up in iTunes either. Should I wait for it to run out of battery like last time? What can I do in the future to prevent my phone from freezing and turning off. Will upgrading it to the newest operating system help? This phone is nearly a year and a half old. Please help.

I've had this problem ongoing for awhile now and it's starting to drive me nuts.
A few months back I was using an app where you could purchase in-game points which would come through your apple ID. I purchased the points and they never arrived, but it's like my phone is constantly now trying to buy the points over and over. Randomly even when the app is closed I'll be asked for my Apple ID password, even if the app is deleted from my phone. If I enter my password it'll go away for a little while and then try again later. So I figure it is just continually trying to make the purchase and fails each time.
I've contacted the support for the app and they never reply to any support email questions, I've looked around online and similar problems seem to be fixed by people looking at pending downloads sitting in itunes on their PC, but there is nothing pending at all. I've changed my Apple ID password. I've made sure it was synced with my phone, I've cleared it from my phone and re set it up again ... nothing seems to work.I even reset my phone entirely and it continues to ask .. it's like the problem is linked more with my apple ID rather than the phone itself. But I'm out of ideas of how to stop it.
Any suggestions? It's incredibly frustrating!

I have had my iPhone 5 hacked! How it's been done I think is by cloning or by some how signing in to my iTunes account as another device but that wouldn't explain how they are using my cell phone network. Verizon says that my phone has connected to other cell towers when I haven't even left my hometown!! So I know it's not my device!! Also my call and data and messaging details are activitys not coming from my cell phone! I notice that when I push the reset buttons in the headphone outlet my phone will run super fast for a few minutes and then go back to super slow!! I hand a similar problem with my old Iphone 4. My camera stopped working and internet was really choppy. I took it to the genius bar. They said there was nothing they could do as it was a hardware problem. I told them it happened after a ios update but they said that was most likely not the cause. Then I asked them has my Iphone been hacked they said no like I said it is just a hardware problem and they if I wanted a replacement phone I would have to ask my carrier as I was just out of warrenty. I ended up just waited for the Iphone 5. I would take your phone to genius bar to see if they can fix it if or a replacement Iphone(assuming it is still in the warrenty period).If genius bar cannot help you could also try your carrier. If you do get a replacement Iphone you should be able to sync some data from your old Iphone to the new one. Also do you have trouble with your Iphone 5 volume adjusting by itself and static sounds from speakers when unlocking Iphone? My Iphone has been having these problems lately.

Go into Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Is this happening at the bottom in the signature section, or in the header of the mail where your email address is? If it is the signature, then go to the Signature area of the Mail settings. If this is in the header, then go to the account in question and edit your account information to include your name instead of Johnny.

You cannot. You can only upgrade to the currently supported version of the iOS which, at this time is iOS 7.0.2.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
