I posted this almost a month ago, I'm surpirsed noone else had had this issue...
I don't sync that often (yeah, I know, crusify me), but tonight I went to synchronise again and I got a different photo that wont come over....
In addition to the above:
- the photos are taken with the same camera, on the same date and time as other photos around it...
So "why is it now no longer compatible with iphone4?"????
If I unsync a photo, it just gives me a new photo it can't sync.
Can anyone tell me how to find ALL the photos it can't sync? This is a serious deficiency of iphoto/itunes/sync with iphone...

And my iTunes sign in is also screwed up... It is underneath my friends email (the one with my backed up data on his Mac laptop) HOW DO I CHANGE THIS SO THAT I CAN DOWNLOAD APP's again...I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

i have 2 iphones on the same account and all of a sudden my text messages are also appearing on the other phone. i haven't changed any setting
you most likely have imessage on both iphones and sending/receiving to same number on one of the iphones. go to settings messages > send and receive > check the numbers/emails on both iphones. once you uncheck the numbers/emails you dont want you will not be getting the messages any more. a little bit more info is helpful read this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5538.

Sigh You are infected with one of the strains of the Flasback trojan. You are not the first, and unfortunately not going to be the last. So I don't have to retype all the instructions, here's some from MadMacs0 for another user where I've modified it for your case:
Select "Go to Folder" from the "Go" menu of the Finder (or type Command-Shift-G).
In the window copy and paste the following:
~/.MacOSX/ and hit return.
Make note of the date the file "environment.plist" was created / modified then drag it to the trash.
Open the Terminal app (found in /Applications/Utilities/)
Copy and paste the following commands into a Terminal window after the "$ " prompt, followed by the return key:
rm -rf "~/Library/Application Support/.USBSafelyRemove.so"
rm -rf ~/Library/Logs/vmlog
rm -rf /Users/Shared/.USBSafelyRemove.so
rm -rf /Users/Shared/.svcdmp
You will not receive confirmation of deletion, but you may be told that some of the files do not exist as not all have been found by all users.
Holding down the option key, select "Empty Trash" from the Finder menu, then restart your computer. All the visible signs of the Trojan should be gone at this point.
Again I want to emphasize that we do not know enough about this Trojan to be confident all the damage has been repaired. You are still advised to make certain you have a solid backup of your data and using the original installation disks, install and upate OS X and all your applications from a trusted source. Then restore your data files from backup. Or use TimeMachine to take you back to the date you were infected.
And lastly, Intego has discovered that the Trojan attempts to sniff out usernames and passwords that you enter into many popular sites (like banking sites, Google, PayPal, and others), presumably so that the malfeasants behind the software can exploit that information in other nefarious ways, and sends them back via Twitter. You should assume that happened and change the passwords for all such accounts that you have visited since being infected along with any other accounts that use the same password. -
my iWork (pages and keynote) are not communicating with the iCloud. I haven't changed anything and all of the sudden there is no sync happening. My iCloud account is fine as i can create documents on my iPad and they appear on iCloud. However, when i change documents on my mac (documents that are supposed to be in the iCloud), the changes do not sync with my other devices nor with iCloud. Even when i create new documents on my mac and save them to iCloud, all seems okay and i can access them from my mac, however they do not show up in the iCloud and i can't access them with my other devices.
Most recent version of mountain lion updated over a month ago. New iPad in use for over a month.

When I hit app store icon it goes to search mode. How do I get it back to category list like games/books/ entertainment??
If you place your finger inbetween the search bar at the top and the keyboard at the bottom and slide your finder downwards it should hide the keyboard and make the icons at the bottom reappear

I think I did some kind of keystroke thing. "remove item" came up when I was trying to back to a previous screen of pictures. I do not think I accepted the command as I was surprised to see it.

When I click on itunes it pulls up an apple player. How do I get it back to itunes.
Yesterday I was using ITunes just fine on my school computer. Today when I turned it on and clicked on Itunes it pulled up a apple mini player. I X it out and tried again from the program list. It pulled up the apple player again, no itunes. Where is Itunes? It is gone? How do I get it to open? I am a music teacher and this is a major problem for me!

Thanks for the question. It sounds like iTunes is opening up to the mini player. To exit out of the mini player, simply click the “Switch from Mini Player” button (the square button below the close button):

You can also expand the MiniPlayer to an album artwork tile. When you move the pointer over the artwork, controls and song information appear.

I am at a gym where each machine has a port for ipods so you can listen to music through the machine and not run your battery down. My worked fine for two months now all of a sudden, it is showing "not supported" and no longer works. Anything I can reset on my ipod to get this working again?
Have you tried using a different cable? Try cleaning out the iPod's dock connector port making sure that it is clean and clear of debris as well as free of damage to the pins.

I was trying to clean up my computer and put things on my exteranl hard drive and then delete the items off my computer. When I was going through the pictures I saw a file named "iLibrary" and just saw a little picture for it, so I deleted that as well..... Later on, when I was trying to show my events in the Finder There was a problem and no pictures were showing up, just empty Events. So I went to the dock and quit iPhoto. When I re-clicked it to open again iPhoto asked me if I wanted to upgrade iPhoto, So I clicked yes, then hesitated. "What if all my pictures get deleted' I thought. Then it asked me where I wanted to re-open from and I just click open to the Library that was the 'default'. It was also the ONLY option to click! When it opened I didn't have any of my photos any more. Just a couple events it had selected from my external hard drive!!! I heard I could recover all my photos by going to the Finder and clicking on Pictures then right clicking on iLibrary then go to "Show Package Contents". Unfortunently like I mentioned earlier I had just previously DELETED that!!! It doesn't end there either, just to make matters worse, I "Emptied" the TRASH CAN TOO!! Now what do I do?? I just had a baby 8 weeks ago and ALL ALL ALL the pictures were on there! I was starting to save them to my external hard drive when all this happened! Someone PLEASE help me!!
Do you have a back up?
If not you're into using file recovery software like File Salvage - you can download a free trial and it will scan the disk for you and tell you with might be recoverable. Actual recovery will require that you purchase the app. There may be many files with the same or similar names. Always recover the largest file size.
There are other such apps. Search on Macupdate or the App Store -
my phone is activated through carrier and has been working, just recently it is saying no service as the SIM card is not provisioned. how do i fix this?
Now 1st make sure there is nothing wrong on the carrier side
2nd make sure sim card works and make sure sim trey is not damaged some how.
Try settings>general>reset>reset network settings
Try as well a restore as new and with the iPhone as it was when you 1st got it see if you have service, if not go o an apple store or call apple care.
Try all that in that same order, and test it afterwards.
