HT4207 i do not have the archive messages feature the way i set it up, anyway i can still fix it?
I recently noticed that a week ago my gmail on my iphone was not deleting the messages. Whether I click the trash can, swipe and delete or move to the trash folder, once I go to see if it is in Trash, I see it for 5 seconds and then it disappears. When I set up my gmail on the iphone 5, i clicked the gmail icon. I didnt want any problems pushing email through exchange, as i had read several issues concerning receiving email. Every forum I read says to turn off the Archives option, but that option does not show up on my screen. Is there anything I can go to fix this problem???
first off where are you located? many middle east countries have facetime blocked, nothing to do with your equipment. there is no icon for facetime on the iphone, it is just a button on each individual contact that you can facetime with. you have to add facetime contact info for each person. you can only facetime using wifi with another person that has facetime and is on wifi as well.

Alternative: transfer a copy of content into a web based translation service (Bing or Google provides a free service).
Transfer the output into a word processing program that is localized to the appropriate language.

First, to prevent this from happening again, turn off "In App purchases" in the Restrictions settings on your iPod. You may also want to turn off the ability to install apps, to prevent purchases in case the child gets hold of your iTunes Store account information, and set the password to be required immediately. I dont know the opperating system but I only got it recently...
I also have a mac book pro also without iCloud.Without Find My iPad having been enabled on it then there isn't any way to locate it - and that would only work if it's connected to a network and hasn't been wiped or had Find My iPad disabled on it.
If you think that it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also contact your carrier and change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc. -

I was given a new phone because of a technical problem with my other. Everything was replaced because of iCloud but now it is telling me I do not have enough storage room on this phone to perform a back-up. Can I fix this?!

My iPod touch with iOs 5 does not have the iTunes store app on it. How can I get it?
I have recently upgraded my touch 4g to iOs 5, and I love the new iOs. There is only one problem, the native iTunes app does NOT EXIST. I have no problem connecting to the itunes store on my pc itunes program, but my ipod touch DOES NOT HAVE THE ITUNES APP and therefore has no way to access the itunes store mobilely. Please help. I tried restoring in itunes, did so, and still do not have the itunes store app on my ipod.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

You can also use an Apple TV, which connects with HDMI. In this case, you can use Airplay Mirroring. Not all Macs support Airplay Mirroring, so you need to check first. I have a Mid-2011 27" iMac, and it supports Airplay Mirroring. I don't use it often because my TV is in another room, but I just tried it and it worked. My finder home window will not stay the way I set it
How do I keep my Finder window opening the way I leave it? Everytime I reboot or use folders in finder window my home view changes from icon to list or size changes. I reset it and it stays for awhile then changes to other view.
You will have to change the Home Page to the page your want to display. In order to do so, follow the steps below:
* Go to Options (i.e. \Firefox\Options\Options);
* Go to the General tab;
* Under Start-up - enter the URL in the Home Page URL box.
Also, make sure that you have chosen "Show my Home Page" under "When Firefox Starts" (use the drop down arrow).

Since downloading IOS 7.0 on my iPhone 4, I cannot connect to wifi. The button is greyed out, so I can't even turn it on. I can't download the upgraded version that fixes some of the bugs because you have to be able to connect to the internet to download it. I also noticed that under "Settings", my Bluetooth and Personal Hot Spot settings are constantly roaming with the circle that just keeps going around and around. I've tried everthing (I think). It was directly related to the 7.0 download because it happened right away. Any ideas? I listen to a lot of eBooks when I commute each day and I need to connect to the internet to download the full versions. I miss my books!!

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
