How to delete photos ios 7

My photos on my mini did not survive ios 7 update. When I transferred photos from computer to ipad thru itune sync, some unwanted photos showed up on ipad. To delete these photos I had to first delete photos from computer then re sync ipad again. The next issue is to make my photo albums on phone and ipad the same. Note to many computer and devices in this house!

    You can't delete straight from the iphone. You need to remove it by syncing again. If that didn't work for you last time, you can reimport nothing but giving it the same file name and it basically writes over what was on the phone. I only got my iphone 2 days ago so there may be other ways, but wow, so much for user friendly!

    Thanks to both of you for your replies.
    For some reason, the Camera & Scanner Wizard has started to detect the phone now. Maybe it will stop again in the future, but for now it's OK.
    I do have iTunes installed, and the iPhone's still not appearing in Windows Explorer. I might reinstall if the problem recurs.
    Yep, it's an official Apple cable, but it's a bit old. I got it with my iPod a few years back. Maybe i should start using that as the charger cable, and the new cable i got with my iPhone for syncing?

    @iLikeCheesyStuff:  The photo stream photos are in the camera roll  as well.  The OP is referring to photos synced to his phone, which can't be deleted directly on the phone.
