Not all the albums I select are syncing. I go to Device > photos >select "selected albums" then choose the albums i want on my ipod touch then hit apply. when its "done" syncing I check my photos in the ipod and only two albums show up out of the 9 i've selected. And theres this stubborn album that won't go away. anyone know what the problem is? And its NOT a software update issue, ive updated it several times.

As long as your pad isn't doing other things,( and you have already shut off everything else..) then the issue is in the connection from you to whoever you are talking to. How good is your wifi speed? And the person at the other end. There are a lot of transfers of the signal from you to them, and you are sort of at the mercy of all the spots in between.
Do a speedtest to test your speed, and maybe give the call a try from a different place, like a Starbucks ( as long as their connection is not throttled)

Solved problem by converting to another file format.
The two that worked were .mov and MP4 that is .H264

I am having trouble using reverb of any kind; it does not sound natural, but rather "pixilated." Does anyone have any ideas for a solution? I have used Silververb and Space Designer and am having the same problem...

I am using Logic Pro 9 with two MXL 990 microphones in my piano and a Rode NT1A for vocals. I have tried recording with added reverb and keeping getting not a natural reverb sound, but a rather "pixilated" one that does not sound natural. This is asking for the impossible! It does not sound natural because maybe it isn't and in judging so whats your reference anyway. If you are in dire need of some natural sounding room you can go and record it yourself. But even then, the chances that it sounds like you imagined it, are very slim.
There are very decent sounding reverberation plugins, based on artificial reverb generators or convolution-style, the last one is said to sound more 'natural' then the first one. Be it as it maybe, it really is like cooking food. You got all the ingredients for this delicious taste at hand and believe it or not to reach a satisfying result this is not enough, because if you do not mix the ingredients in the right proportion you will end up with a different dish you thought you'll get. This is exactly the same when one would mix audio, I dare say.
So treat yourself to some good ingredients and the rest is up to you, namely: taste and experience!
And looking at some of my past music productions I always find the same plugins for the 'ambient' task:
Altiverb by Audio Ease when I have acoustic ensembles (classical music mostly), the Sony Oxford Reverb in studio productions, Bricasti when I have to deal with drums and MMultiBandReverb from MeldaProduction for all-round stuff. Thats the base I start from, after that I can end up with dozen Reverb plugins which basically all are doing the same thing but just in a tiny different way.

HT4236 Problem deleting photo albums from device - previously synced from PC

I am unable to delete synced photo albums from my device and do not know why. I have changed my settings when syncing to try and remove the photo albums but the albums are still on my iphone.
I cannot delete the albums manually on the device either.

You have to deselect the albums/folders/photos, under the photos tab in iTunes, then hit the "Apply" button to remove synced photos from your phone.

Not all fields in Address Book are syncing

For some reason not all the fields in my address book get synced from one computer to another. The template for all the fields in address book are the same on the different computers but the 'Department' field does not get synced. Any ideas how to fix this?

So sorry...yes I'm using Contacts from Outlook.
When I launch Field Mapping from the Advanced Settings for Address Book, the Handheld fields that are available for me to map to my Contacts in Outlook, do not include the fields previously mentioned so there is no way for me to map them to a destination field in Outlook.
Maybe I'm using an old version of Desktop Manager??? Mine is version 3.6.0.63 (June 11 2003)...could you please let me know what version you have?

Not all photos show up in iTunes sync

I have always used Lightroom (professionally) and iPhoto (snapshots), but decided to give Aperture a try and bought it this week.
I have imported the iPhoto library (about 8000 photos), which went well. Then I wanted iTunes to start syncing my Apple TV (1st gen.) with Aperture instead of iPhoto. This seems very simple and straightforward, but the 8000 photos that Aperture shows don't show up in iTunes. It gives me about 1700 photos (this number seems to vary). It's the same when I want to sync my iPhone.
What could go wrong here? Why isn't iTunes seeing all the photos that I see in Aperture? This worked fine in iPhoto.

Just stepped in the same problem on my Mac Pro, Aperture 3.2.1, iTunes 10.5.1 and iPad updated to 5.0.1.
Once selected Aperture as reference library for photo syncing I selected specific projects and faces. As a photographer I have volumes of material I just can't copy completely on devices.
I noticed the number on the right side of projects in iTunes were way below the actual content. Syncing just let me verify on my iPad a lot of picture were missing.
Deselecting Aperture and photo sync, erasing pictures from the device and restarting from the top didn't help.
Also repairing photo database gave no effect.
I solved by updating ALL photos previews in Aperture. It took the whole day, 16 hours, but in the end, quitting both AP and iTunes then enabling photo sync showed the correct amount for each project, same on iPad.

My facetime and imessage are not working! They were literally were working one minute and not the next! I have reset (NOT RESTORED) my ipod, however these 2 apple apps are not working now, anyone have any idea why???

My ipod touch seems to have a few issues, however my pre-installed and updated imessage and facetime were literally working last night, and after a breif break to charge battery (the back of the ipod was SUPER HOT) wasn't able to do facetime or imessage, and am STILL NOT today, what gives?? Any suggestions and advice?.

Found the answer, at least for now! Thanks to roryjt, and having to search through tons of post on imessage and facetime issues! Changed the DNS on my ipod for my wireless network to 8.8.8.8 Not sure if it will work outside of my wireless network, but since its an ipod, not an iphone, I usually only use it in my place/on my network. Iphoto usually saves your photos as jpg. as you know
mine no longer does that..
when i look up the pictures in their folders it simply has their title but not the jpg.
format.
This means it's IMPOSSIBLE to upload them to imageshack or other photo hosting sites,

I'd guess the files are still jpeg, but the extensions are hidden. Go to the Finder preferences window, click Advanced, and make sure "Show all file extensions" is checked.

Yes it is NOT your internet service. It is Apples OSX. It seems to be happening to older computers trying to run the newer OSX ( Mavericks and newer). I have a 2009 iMac I bought with Leopard installed, I upgraded to Snow leopard 10.6.8 and my computer was running flawlessly. I upgraded to Mountain Lion and I noticed my computer running slower... kind of annoying having to wait longer for everything (start up, browsers opening up, apps opening up, mail opening up and so on) Mavericks came out for free and I was excited to get out of this issue. Well, everything went from bad to terrible! Fast user switching had a glitch with desktop picture resetting to the wave, mail rules didn't work properly and I kept getting kicked off the internet (Absolutely NOTHING wrong with my internet). No one could figure out what was going on or how to fix it, even senior Apple tech's! After 3-4 months of searching, troubleshooting and waiting for a fix, I looked at my Mac Pro running Tiger 10.4.11 with no issues what so ever... that is when I made an executive decision. GO BACK TO SNOW LEOPARD! Since May 2014 I have been running 10.6.8 on my 2009 iMac and it has been smoking fast with NO issues what so ever, especially since I maxed out my memory for Mavericks. So to sum it up: some people might get lucky with old machines running new operating systems, but for the most part, it seems older processors can't keep up with the new sophisticated operating systems. Mavericks... Yosemite... FREE UPGRADE! But you will pay the price

You ported in and replaced the phone a couple days ago? Is the replacement phone a Verizon branded phone? Is it FULLY compatible or partially compatible with Verizon? Did you get a new SIM card?
