HT4236 Problem syncing my photo folders with my iPod. Works fine with iPad, but no folders are created on iPod

I have done as Support info states:
To sync photos from a folder on your hard disk to your device
Drag the images you want into a folder on your computer. If you want images to appear in separate photo albums on your device, create folders inside the main folder and drag images into the new folders.
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left.
Choose "Sync photos from."
Select Choose Folder from the pop-up menu and choose your main image folder.
This works on my New iPad, but not on my iPod touch 4th Gen. Both are running the latest iOS.
I did clear off all the photos from the ipod first, hoping to create a nice tidy directory of sorted photos.
sigh.
please help???

I am having the very same problem with iTunes, I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and started having the problem after the latest update. I just upgraded to the new 5s and was syncing everything to it, so I figured that I would update my itunes software as well. Which I never do after updating one time and had trouble with it on my old laptop and had to rollback to a older version of itunes. I have tried every suggestion that has been posted in the Apple Discussion area and on other websites no luck what so ever. I figured I will wait till Apple comes out with another update and try again. In the post above I am having the exact problem with iTunes. Elements 10 canvas not working with tiff images; works fine with jpegs. What to do? It does not allow me to add a colored canvas, only a blank canvas.

Perhaps some of the tiffs are already layers.
In other words, since jpegs don't support layers, they all ways open with one locked background layer, but the tiff format does
support layers so the tiffs don't have to have a locked background layer and can already be a regular layer that supports transparency.
For the tiffs you could add a new color fill layer below and use the color you want the enlarged canvas to be.
On pse 10 look at the bottom of the layers panel for the new adjustment of fill layer icon

Flash plugin won't work right with 31.0, works fine with 30.0, is there a fix coming?

I have several Unitrends backup systems, which use flash for the Web GUI.
After upgrading to Firefox 31.0, only one of four of these will load the GUI.
This all works with IE, Chrome, and Firefox 30.0.
My guess is that there is some legacy flash logic that does not work properly in 31.0.
Currently, I have had to downgrade to Firefox 30.0 (no change to flash version, BTW).

This problem isn't about the flash plugin, everything else was the same, the flash plugin, the web GUIs using it, etc. The only difference that caused the problem was the upgrade to Firefox 31.0, and the only way I was able to resolve it was by downgrading to Firefox 30.0.
Furthermore, every other browser (IE, Chrome, etc.) works fine on this system using the same flash plugin, same web GUIs. The problem is specific to Firefox 31.0, so the problem needs to be resolved in Firefox.

Communication Error with wireless router, Works fine with Ethernet cable.

Video iChat is fine when my MBP and other MB's and MBP's are at my house using the Netgear 240 rangemax wireless router. I'm currently running High speed Internet via cable modem through Time Warner Cable. When I try to chat with them while they are at home, I get a communication error. I then tried to use the Ethernet cable hooked up to the cable modem to my MacBook Pro. It worked fine. I would like to use video iChat via my wireless router. I don't understand why it is not working. I think it is my router. Do I need to buy an Airport Extreme Base Station or can I still use this router. Can you possibly help me configure this Netgear router? The internet connection is fine when I use the wireless router.

I have not had very good experiences with the Netgear routers. I can't say that it is the router causing your problem, however, it might be the effective wireless bandwidth over your router. Do a speedcheck and determine the download and upload speed with wireless. Hopefully you're getting about 400Kbps up and 400Kbps down or about 1000Kbps in total.

PDF Report with Korean font work fine in 9iDS but not in 9iAS

I am using Oracle 9i Application Server 9.0.2.0.0, When i try to run the report using Korean font The pdf report not showing the korean font correctly.
I tried the same in 9ids , which is working properly. I have done exactly the same setting in 9ias, but it is not working.
The Oracle ias report service dialog shows version 9.0.2.0.3
My 9ias settings
NLS_LANG = AMERICAN_AMERICA.KO16KSC5601
In uifont.ali the settings are

also installed the asian Suit 2000(Union Way) on the ias server.
I have checked the Smoothing display option also in Acrobat 5. The Document font is showing

As such there is no change in both the report servers , same output in win2000 and win2003. I am generating the rep from 9ids for both 9ids and 9ias, and i am using font UWKMJF which is korean charecter support, but 9ias is generating some junk charecters with spacing , 9ids is working fine.
The PDf Document font is showing
Origial font = HYSMyeongJoStd-Medium-Acro type=type1 (CID) Encoding=KSC-EUC-H
Actual font = HYSMyeongJoStd-Medium-Acro type=type1 (CID)
which is same as 9ids, but the data displaying in the pdf are not proper.
As you mentioned about the patch, which patch i have to apply. can you please also mention the patch numbers.

IT will stream photos and music and photostream (screensaver), but no mirroring, not even the icon??

Trying to transfer photos from mini sd card via adapter to iPad but get there are no photos message

Can anyone help, I am trying to transfer photos from a mini sd card via a apple adapter but get a message telling me there are no photos to transfer. Any ideas on a fix? Graham1955

The photos must be located inside a folder named DCIM, and their names must have eight characters plus the .jpg
iPad SD Card Reader supports SD standards up to SDHC, miniSD and microSD with adapters, and MMC.
SDXC is not supported.

Firefox hangs on plugin loading, not marked by OS as unresponsive, must be killed with task manager, works fine with other Windows 7 users on this computer.

I'm not sure what plugin is the problem but when the plugin_container process loads, firefox hangs and becomes unresponsive. Windows 7 doesn't recognize it as such, however, and I have to kill the process with TaskMgr.
The problem does NOT seem to be the plugin container itself because when I add the MOZ_DISABLE_OOP_PLUGINS environment variable to windows the problem still happens, just internalized to the firefox process.
Since I remote into the box a lot I have other users, all of which have no problems with firefox. It's only localized to the one user.

My suspicion is Flash, since that probably is the most commonly used plugin. Try disabling the protected mode feature, since that is currently being debugged. Touch screen stopped working with Safari. Works fine with everything else.

So, all of a sudden this morning my Touch will not work in Safari. I can go to web pages via the bookmark button but cannot highlight or type in any links. Doesn't recognize my incredibly gentle touch:)
Anyone else with this problem?

This seems to happen to my touch when i view alot of web pages on the touch. You might try clearing Safari's history and cache settings/safari. Rebooting the touch seems to clear things up also.

CUPS fail with kernelck ,while works fine with default kernel

I have weird problem with cups. I 've set it up it works good ,my printer prints ,etc but only on default arch kernel ,when i boot with kernelck (from arch reps) i get
cupsd: Child exited on signal 15!
when deamons starts on boot.
It is really weird it work flawlessly on arch default kernel and fail on archck...
I have no idea what to do.

URGENT: Rest web service with get method works fine in browser but not with java client(Android)

I have created one REST web service which accepts two parameters send back JSON results.
I tested the it in browser with URL as http://+Inteernal server+/ords/utimes/login_info?p1=+first_param+&p2=+second_para+
Web service URL : http://+Inteernal server+/ords/utimes/login_info?p1={p1}&p2={p2}
But when java team wants to access it from java code it gives error as "400- Bad Request".
one more IMP thing : when I test it in RESTful web service by using "set bind variable" , it only set value of first parameter.
APEX version : 4.2
Database : 11g (XE)
ords : 2.0.8

My ipod works fine with some headphones but when I put others in it plays for about 20 seconds than fades and shuts off?

I can use one of my skullcandys but when i try to use the other pair it works for about 20 or so seconds before it will fade away

Make sure the plug is pressed in all the way. The fit seems to be different for different brands, so with some headphones, it takes more pressure to insert the plug completely (including Apple's recent EarPods). If the plug is not completely inserted, you may hear something, but the shuffle does not "see" the headphone so stops playing after a short period.

As the feature is part of your scanner set up nd not iPhoto, you'd need to ask the makers of that for help.

Java is not working with Firefox 4.0. It was working fine with Firefox 3.6

When uploading photos on Zenfolio, Java was working fine with Firefox 3.6. But when I upgraded it to Firefox 4.0, Java stopped working properly. When I try to upload photos, the Java text opens up with all the programming codes. With Firefox 4.0, I am not able to upload photos into Zenfolio.
