I understood the "Using Quick Time Conversion > Quick Time Movie",
gives me more possibilities, while takes more time... and this happens because of some kind of recompression?
And the most simple decision is to chose the first exporting option "Quick Time Movie" ... and forget about the rest until I pend some time doing editing :))) -

You need to explin your workflow better.
The "Save" action may be initiated by a "Share" or "Export" option depending on the app you are using. For instance, QT 7 Pro has "Save", "Save As...", "Share...", "Export...", and "Export for Web..." options depending on what you are specificly trying to do. On the other hand, QT X may have "Duplicate", "Export...", Export To", and/or "Share" options for various goals.
Are you trying to record a new audio file using a mic, extract and save an audio track from a video, export audio from a video file, save an internet audio file that opened in the QT player, save an online audio file, etc? -
i copied files from Mac to my PC, they are .mov files. and some of them i can c only black picture and hear the sound, some of them there is only piture and no sound.. how do i solve this?
When you try to open a file in QuickTime and get error 2048. That means the file is in a format or codec that QT does not support. In other words if you tryed to open a windows media video .wmv, with QT, you'd get error 2048.
So you have to find out what codec is being used with the file trying to be opened.
An OLE control is a active x control. Which is usually used while online at a website. Now if you're getting the OLE message while online. Then enable the QuickTime add-on from the Tools menu of whatever browser you're using, or enable it anyway. Don't know if I've been very helpful but I'll also include this link on active x control.

I just downloaded a book from ibooks and it says that it is unable to open the book
i just downloaded a book "made for ibooks" after downloading the ibooks app. However when I click on it it say it is "unable to open". I thought it was a download issue, and went to download it again, but don't have that option, as it says it is "downloaded".

I would recommend deleting the problematic book and downloading it again by accessing your previous purchases. Here are a couple articles that will help you with this process.
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Before you delete, find out if you'll be able to download the book you deleted again (it depends on where you live). To delete a book:
Tap the iBooks app.
View your Purchased Books collection.
Tap Edit.
Tap any books you want to delete.
Tap Delete.
You'll have the option to delete your book on all your devices.

just need to reset it to factory settings because daughter forgot password..and when i try to do it through itunes to stops half way to say that i need to unlock the ipod..so please let me know if anyone can help me with this..ive already tried turning it off and then holding the home button while i plug the ipod to the computer and the itunes screen on the ipod comes up..i;m really hoping i don't have to go to an apple store..i live hours away from one..thanks!
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

I created a file yesterday in Pages Version 5.1. Today I went back to open that file and a box popped up saying I need a newer version of Pages to open that file. Any thoughts??
You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

I was trying to open a file, the box came up saying that windows could not open the file and choose another program to open the file, I chose reader as it was the first option offered. Reader could not open the file either but when I closed the file I fount that nearly all the desktop icons had changed to reader icons and when I tried to open them a box comes up advising that reader cannot open that file. The only way that I can open my apps is to uninstall reader. When I uninstall reader the Icons return to normal. As soon as I re install reader all my icons change back to reader icons. How can I reverse this?
