HT4314 Game Center and Apple ID issues...help!

Hello. My son has 'lost' his Dragonvale game and is completely distraught. I have three kids that all have their own game center accounts, but I
don't know how to get back into his. My apply id goes to one of the other kids accounts. I know his gamecenter nickname and gamecenter password, but I
don't know how to access with this info. I know his game progress is still out there because he is 'friends' with the other kids and they can see his game.
How can I get him signed back in?

HI Friend,
Game Center shares some information of your game, like the scores. But I believe Game Center cannot save the game progress. If the Dragonvale app has been deleted before, all game progress has gone.

HT4314 GAME CENTER STUCK ON LOADING SCREEN HELP PLZ

Hi everyone, my game center has been stuck on the 'loading' screen for about a week now and I am annoyed because I cant see my friends Highscores or play multiplayer online. Please help. Have you tried a reset?

I really want to be able to play clash of clans again on an account named Shadow but then I decided to log off and make my little brother and alternative account, forgetting my password and email when I tried to log back in. this was quite a while ago. is it possible to get my account back??

Just bought my mac mini and set up my apple account. I was trying to pay a game on the game center and after I click on the accept agreement and hit send, it show saving and then it locks up.

just bought my mac mini. loggin into my game center, and after accepting the user agreement, it then saves my options. After trying serveral times, my screen just shows my options are saving and does nothing past this point. even after waiting a very long time.

Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
Or...
Open console in Applications>Utilities, check the system log for the date/time of the last problem & the Startup right after that for clues.

Can you sign out of Game Center and enter another account for ios?

For the game I play, clash of clans, I'm allowed to link my device so I can use my better account on my new phone, BUT I need to sign into my other Game Center account to do so. I know I can change it for my older iPod but It doesn't really look like I can with ios7.
Can anyone help!

HT1349 My game center is messed up. Help?

I cannot log in to Game Center on my iTouch whatsoever. I put in the correct Apple ID yet it says it's wrong, I have reset it four times and it doesn't accept it. The App Store and iTunes accepts my password normally but Game Center doesn't.

Since it's not possible to actually delete Game Center, I can only think of two things: either Restrictions are enabled that stop it from appearing, or it's been moved to a folder or home screen where you don't expect to find it.
The first thing I'd try is opening it using Spotlight or Siri. If you say to Siri "Open Game Center" and it doesn't know what you're talking about, then it's probably restrictions that are blocking Game Center and stopping it from appearing. Similarly, if you don't see it when typing its name into Spotlight (the home screen at the far-left that is darker than usual, and which has a Search bar for you to type the names of things you'd like your iPad to search for), then this again points to restrictions.
If Siri and/or Spotlight can see it and open it without any problems, though, then it's definitely still there - you'll just have to go hunting through all your folders and home screens until you find it. If it just seems to reuse to open no matter what, then check your Restrictions settings (in the General section of the Settings app).

Can't log into Game Center and can't play certain games any more

So I was trying to log into Game Center, and the system gives me this:
To make things worst, now whenever I try to play Battle Supremacy, the app just keeps trying to switch to Game Center, which is already a dead end, and this is getting SOOOOOOO annoying. Help, please?

Do a backup.
Quit the application.
In Finder hold down the option/alt key while selecting the Go menu item. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.gamecenter.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart the computer, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer ones.
If you want to make your user library permanently visible, run the below command in Applications/Utilities/Terminal.
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
You will need to do that after any updates.

Game center break down ... help needed!

I just cannot get my game center to work, therefore my games won't save.
eg, The Sims freeplay tells me I'm not signed in to game center so I open up GC app. I see the "Me" screen, with me on it!
I tap on games and nothing will load. I tap on "friends" and nothing will load. And once I tap on friends I cannot get off the blank
screen without shutting the app down.
I've been in settings > game center > my profile name ... all looks ok here until I try and close the profile box down by tapping
"cancel" or "done" ~ it won't go! Again I have to shut down the settings app completely.
I'm finding this infuriating now. I've tried setting the date back & re-booting the ipad ~ still the same
This all started happening AFTER the last update .... fed up.
Any help would be much appreciated

The fact that tapping on buttons in game center and not getting a positive response seems to imply a problem with app, not the device... by rebooting, do you mean turn it off and then turn it on, or reset everything?
As a last resort, I would advise that you backup your IPad to a computer, save all you stuff, and reset the iPad, bringing it back to factory settings.
Put all you stuff back on and then see if it works... if it doens't, It could be the update

Game center and another using by clash of clans even when i change password!

Then I went to the game center and got out of the iPhone.
But my land is still in the phone and can be played with my land

Try:

HT4314 Game Center & Newsstand -- any way to get rid of these?

With the latest version of iTunes, previously independent apps are now automatically going into Game Center and Newsstand (e.g., Word Warp, Economist). I don't do interactive gaming and just want to access my news and games directly without the extra layer (and the intrusive Game Center message when I'm playing a game).

Thanks. How inelegant of Apple. Hope they'll change this in an update to the IOS. In the meantime, will move Game Center and Newsstand to the last page of my apps and read NYT online and not via the app.

Lost Oceanhorn Game on Game Center and no back up!

I had to restore my iPad recently and my last back up was September 2013. Gutted as I have lost all my game and I really really don't want to have to start all over again!
I can't seem to find a contact email for Game Center and wondering whether they can get this data back for me??

Game Center is an Apple app. They will it be able to retrieve your data for you. It is a bit irresponsible to not have backed up since September.
I'm sorry, but will have to start all over again. You should think about backing up on a more frequent and regular basis. It's so easy to do.

IPod 4th Gen power button broken, game center and some apps won't load.

iPod 4th generation, iOS 6.1.6, power button is broken (will not click at all, I can't let my iPod run out of battery because I won't be able to turn it back on).
Game center, and some of my apps will not load.
I also have issues with apps and Safari crashing, but that isn't a major problem.
For the apps not loading, I've tried deleting them, and then reinstalling them, but it didn't work.
Is there anything I can do about this?

To reset the iPod without the hardware buttons,
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. All your wifi and bluetooth preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected. You will have to rejoin wifi networks and repair BT devices
For Safari problem try going to Settings>Safari and Clear Cookies<data and History.
To turn on an iPod without a Power button just connect the iPod to a charging source

I was iCloud backup error. It changed its name after the game center and I can not get back

I have the same problem but with clash of clans as I tried loading my sons game and now on my new ipad it puts me to level 6 under his name instead of being the leader level 53 of Canadian Ruler very frustrating and Apple Care techies could not figure this out either.

Please Apple! I don't like Game Center and want to be able to turn it off. Please make it a feature in next ios-update.

Move the game center icon to the very last screen, that will get it out of the way. Or put it in some folder, again to get it out of the way. That's the best you can do.
