Game Center has been trying to install app for days- I can't get it to stop, it is draining my battery
The RC helicopter's directions say its available in the App store for Apple and here it is in the iTunes store:

How do I get this to show up on my iPad and/or iPod touch app stores so I can then download and install it as needed?

Force-quit Photos as recommended by Arsenal1607.
Make backup of your iPhoto Library and run the iPhoto Library First Aid tools to repair the permissions on your library and rebuild the iPhoto Library.
To launch the First Aid Tools hold down the alt/option and the command key simultaneously while double clicking the iPhoto Library to launch the iPhoto Library First aid tools. You'd to hold down both keys firmly and long enough, until the First Aid panel will appear.
Try both the options "Repair Permissions" and "Rebuild library". Then try again to migrate the iPhoto Library to Photos by dragging it onto the Photos icon in the Dock.
Make sure, you have plenty of free storage. Don't try the migration, if you are running out of storage. -
I have been trying to download Adobe Air for a website I'm trying to access (Colonial Williamsburg). After the installation was finished, I went back to the website and it still said I didn't have Adobe Air. I tried reinstalling and Adobe said I already have it on my system (Mac OSX 10.9). I can't find the app. I uninstalled, restarted, etc. and same results.

close all browser windows, then run the uninstaller
download the offline ActivX installer for Internet Explorer from http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe

If you can you can choose the None option and only put the card info in when you want to buy something. It also makes your account less suceptable to hackers as there is nothing that they can use to buy anything. -

Been trying to restore Ipod touch for days after updating Itunes. Error code #9. Stuck on restore screen. Tried all the solutions posted. Tried on 2 computers, Vista + XP. No device shown on computer. Thanks Apple! Didn't have this problem before update. How about rolling back your update?

You might be able to trick iMovie by temporarily moving that project folder out of the following location:
Mac HD > Users > (your home folder) > Movies > iMovie Projects > (look for the name of the project that blew-up)
Drag that project folder to the Desktop for the time being. Launch iMovie and see if it still tries to create the Project Thumbnails. If it gets past any error messages or other house keeping, you can create a new project. Otherwise, quit iMovie. Drag that project folder from the desktop BACK into your iMovie Projects folder. Try launching iMovie again and see if it gets stuck generating the Thumbnails. -
IPhone 3GS - Have been trying to download OS 4 for a week !!!
I'm using iTunes 9.2 which appears to be working fine ... already reinstalled it twice in case this was the issue ... I plug my iPhone 3GS in and request update to OS 4 ... update runs downloading 378 MB over a 29 minute period ... iPhone still attached ... timer finishes with 377.9 MB showing as being downloaded ... hangs for 30 seconds then informs me that connection has timed out and for me to start again ... I have been trying at least 6 times a day since last Sunday with no luck ... can somebody please advise what's going off ... already tried another PC and contacted my IP provider ?????
You may want to wait until Apple fixes some bugs. My 3GS no longer syncs with MobileMe since installing iOS4. I spent a total of 7 hours over the past two days following all of the suggestions posted on the troubleshooting sites...to no avail. I even did a restore in iTunes and spent over two hours with a chat agent who also had no fix. He is "escalating" my issue to higher powers. I love the other features...folders, the ability to change backgrounds...but I have to be able to sync my calendars.

For my iPhone 4 I did try to download iOS4.3.5 666.6 MB after about a halfe hour and approx. 333.4 MB I saw the Network traffic has stopped and iTunes displayed the error message -3259
"There was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone.The network connection timed out. "
I already turned of the FIREWALL but that did't help. I assume that it isn't my network its probably the very slow server on the other end.

I have been trying to uninstall several extensions for firefox. I'm told by the Add-Ons window that these extensions will be uninstalled when I restart firefox, but they come back every time I restart. I've tried clearing the extensions cache from my firefox profile and it does not work. Following the steps in all of the active questions regarding this issue among other users have yielded no results. Nothing currently on the help site (which I've combed through for the last three hours) has helped.
Most of the extensions I'm now trying to uninstall are old ones that stopped functioning/being compatible with one of the more recent updates of firefox. The rest are toolbars I've never used because they're unsightly and clutter up my screen

Do you have the HP Download Manager software installed? You will need it in order to complete the download. I was able to successfully download the evaluation of HP Application Lifecycle Management 12.00 English Software from here in both Windows and the Linux edition.
If you're still having problems, could you provide more details? Ie: Web browser, Windows Version, URL you're trying to access, Version you're trying to download.
