I do not want this app because there are games that were put on there that I did not were being put on there and I cannot remove them and would like to know how to remove this app from the IPhone 3G? Does anyone know how to do that ? Please help to get it off my phone!

I cannot use it for more than half an hour.
I'm sure that it is due by Game Center because I upgraded my 3GS to 4.1 several days ago and it was pretty good.
Yesterday I wrongly tapped the GC icon and from that moment on, the battery duration is unacceptable.
Even if connected to the PC! Recharging takes more than the double.

You can't delete any of the pre-installed apps, including Game Center. Further, there is no official way to downgrade firmware.
Double tap your home button, bring up the multitasking bar, tap & hold the Game Center icon, when the red minus sign appears, tap on it, thus removing Game Center from the multitasking bar. Tap the home button when complete. Once done, reset your phone:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release(ignore the slide to power off). See what your battery life is like now.

The Game Center app is pre installed and cannot be removed from the device.
Best thing to do is move it to the last available screen.
Hold down the Game Center app until all the apps jiggle then sliide the Game Center app to the right from one screen to the next. This requires a bit of finesse, but it's doable.
Press the Home button one time to stop the apps from jiggling.
For the Apple ID issue, try resetting.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then try your Apple ID and password for the Game Center app.

In order to delete music videos from an iPhone. Simply access the "Videos" application and swipe from right to left on the video that you are attempting to delete. The red 'delete' button should appear. Once it does, tap it to delete the selected video.

I had a calendar stuck in the phone that didn't exist on my laptop. I had to go into iSync and reset sync history to get rid of it.

You are correct, the Search Function is very powerful. It even retrieves deleted information. If you really want to delete it, only way I know would be to Restore. But if you Restore from Back-Up, some of those unwantd messages and information may crop up again. You may have to Restotre and Set Up as New iPhone.

Disabling Game Center is a joke because even after you disable it, it continues to reappear frequently prior to your game and “Demands” your attention before it allows you to play your game, this is very annoying. Also, if you are off the grid (e.g.: OCONUS) with no connectivity and the “Game Center” pops up you are blocked from playing your game(s) entirely with no recourse to include being blocked from doing the Game Center multiscreen dance of Canceling and finally Disabling Game Center (yup, they have a button for it on one of the last popup screens But that button to Disable it is completely ineffective because Game Center will still reappear in a day or so). Kindly note that I play single player games like solitaire that should not require the Game Center and some apple tech agree. Apple support techs also have not been helpful with my “Case” number. And no, under the General Settings even when you switch off both Game Center toggles it still overrides them et al. I bought this iPad because it looked like something fun to do and it is BUT I ignored the warnings that it would be a socially invasive toy with a forced unalterable protocol; next time should I listen more closely? Thanks for any understanding and assistance.

beyond that your only recourse is to look for games that are not game center games and only use those. The ability to disable game center was removed with iOS6 I believe. All you can do is block multiplayer games and game invites. Everything else is unalterable.

Ok, this seems obvious but how do I get rid of this welcome back popup? Every time I open a game this redundant "welcome back!" message pops up taking up a good quarter of the screen and frequently causing me to die. I can't tell you how many times I've opened a game like Sonic the Hedgehog 2, only to die immediately because I can't see my character while he's covered by a big "welcome back" message. Of course, when that's the last life left and I end up having to restart the whole level, you can see how it might be way more frustrating than it's worth.
So, I've excluded game center from the notification center stuff, I've set it to "no notifications" (which shouldn't matter since it's excluded) and still it pops up.
I signed out of game center too because i'd rather enjoy my games than be frustrated and able to share the scores. Now it just has a pop up at the beginning of every game asking me to sign in, which is just aggrivating in a different way, plus now I I don't have the ability to use the game center. I read here that once signed out there is a button to disable game center, but that doesn't seem to appear in iOS 7. Is there a way to disable it without jailbreaking my phone?

Since posting I too have seen all the discussion.
I have found a way to get around my problem.
The problem is that my 11 year old daughter has one of our old 3GS's as her first phone ready for going to her new school. She shares my iTunes account and can therefore see my purchased history on her iPhone. To stop her seeing any Apps in the cloud or films using home share which are not suitable for her 11 years I have enabled restriction on her phone and set the age limit. This works well as all the adult rated Apps, mainly games, do not show up in the purchase history on her phone.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.

Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.

I bought my friends Toshiba laptop. Her itunes account is on there, hooked up to a credit card. She doesn't remember her ID. I think I had it emailed to her by typing in her email address and first and last name. Now that she probably HAS her Apple ID and Password, how do we remove her account from the laptop so I can use MY itunes?

Delete the ENTIRE iTunes folder from her user directory.
Frankly, you should be restoring the laptop as new, either using the restore CD provided by Toshiba or by reinstalling Windows with a Windows CD to remove ALL of her personal information.
