Try to backup and restore you device in itunes...restoring the device is like removing the iOS software off the device and re-add in a newer software, after you have restore you device, MAKE SURE YOU SET UP YOUR DEVICE LIKE A NEW DEVICE, DONT NOT RESTORE FROM BACKUP!!... give the device a chance to use the newer software and see if the issue still persisting, if the issue still on going then its would be a hardware issue.
Call Apple Care and see if your device is still under warranty to get it replace

If wjosten's tip doesn't work try plugging it into a USB charger (not through your computer), wait about 30 seconds and it should come on. If it doesn't remove the cord from the phone and keep trying this. I've had this same issue and found a combination of the reset & charging cable tends to work. Sometimes it takes about 5 minutes for the phone to respond.

The problem is your friend's music does not belong to you. It is owned by your friend.
I'm afraid you cannot do what you are trying to do. Restoring the iPhone is what you would have to do.
In the future, put your music on the computer and transfer it to the iPhone, not the other way.

Try a forced shutdown first ... hold the power button to shut it down. You should see a ghost image saying it is disconnected. Then power up again and the ghost image will say it is connected. Happened to me once.

completely switch off your ipad with pressing the top power button really long and then swipe the red swiper at the top. Then turn your ipad back on, skip the icloud login screen and you should be good! That's what i did so should work for you too

I purchased a new iMac with latest iLife suite, however, IMovie will not read my videos. I deleted a 3iVX file that was not working but nothing happens now. Help

I just purchased a new iMac with the latest iLife suite. As part of the migration process in setting up the new machine the 3Ivx video codec was brought onto the new machine as well as my old movies. When I tried opening the movies iMovie crashed and told me it had a problem with the 3IVX video codec, in doing some research I found that the 3IVX video codec created a problem so I deleted it and downloaded Perian 123. The Perian 123 works well with Quicktime but iMove does not now see my old movies. At this point I cannot open any of my movies. Can anyone help? Thanks

In iMovie hold down CTRL and click on the clips that don't open. Choose Reveal in Finder. Convert those files by dragging them into the window of converter program, and save as Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC). That format is native to iMovie and will work perfectly.

G4 turns on but nothing happens...HELP

Help, i am a new mac user, i bought a used Power Mac G4 (FW800) from a someone. I have been using it for about 5 months now with no problems untill yesterday. I was surfing the net and it froze on me, i managed to restart it but thats when the problem started. It restarted but it froze on me again 10mins later. On the second restart the tower turned on(all lights came on) and i could open the disk drive but the monitor would not read, and the mouse/keyboad would not turn on. I seems like the hard drive isn't kicking in so the operating system wont start up

Getting a folder with a flashing question mark means that the computer can't find the startup system folder. It also means that you didn't boot to the install CD. When you startup (to boot from the CD) you need to hold the c key immediately, and continue to hold until the OS Install program begins to load.
this should all occur in uner a minute.
So, to find your system folder for the computer, the first step is to repair the startup drive with Disk Utility while booted from the install disk:
-Insert the Mac OS X Install or Restore disc.
-Restart the computer, then hold the C key during startup.
-From the Apple menu, choose Disk Utility. Do this in the first screen of the Installer. Don't click Continue. If you click Continue in a Mac OS X Installer version earlier than 10.2, you must restart from CD again.
-Click the First Aid tab.
-Click Repair Disk.
-After repairing the disk, try to start from the Mac OS X hard disk (startup drive).
You can also try and find the startup drive by using the Startup manager:
-Turn on, or restart, the computer.
-Immediately hold the Option key. After a few seconds, the Startup Manger should appear. The Startup Manager scans for available volumes.
-Optional: Clicking the circular arrow rescans for other volumes, including NetBoot Server volumes. You can eject any disc in the drive or open an empty tray-loading drive by holding down the Eject key (F12 or key with eject symbol) or, on models that do not have an eject key, holding down Command (Apple) and Period (.) keys. The eject key or Command-Period combination (on models with no eject key) will also close the tray. After inserting a CD capable of starting up your computer, you could rescan for volumes.
-Click the startup volume you want to use. In the example above, two startup volumes are available: a hard disk, and a CD-ROM disc. The volume's name does not appear.
-Click the right arrow button to start up the computer from the volume you selected.
If these steps fail, then try a NVRAM/PRAM reset:
Resetting PRAM and NVRAM
-Shut down the computer.
-Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
-Turn on the computer.
-Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
-Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
-Release the keys.

IHave an update that has been stuck for a month. Others have come in and been okay. It's stuck on installing. Have pressed and pressed but nothing happens. Any help.

Have you tried any of these things?
Tap the "installing" icon and see if you can pause it. If it does pause, then tap it again and see if it will resume.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. That might start the download again.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes. That could prevent the app from installing.
You can also try deleting the installing app - tap and hold down on the icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again. Apps may also be able to be deleted in Settings>General>Usage>Storage if you cannot get the X to pop up on the icon.
If none of those things work for you, download the update in iTunes on your computer and then sync the app to your iPad.
