HT4314 my game center app has vanished ?
hello, I am new to the iphone, noticed last night that the pre-loaded game center app has gone, have I sent it somewhere ?
When I try to open Game Center it stays in loading forever, it was working fine until 2 days ago. My iPad still has my CSR Racing car and level the same but no longer brings up my name and can't access my achievements or leader board. Dragonvale game never gets started just stays on opening page permanently. My iPhone 4 sits right next to it and works. I don't understand how the iPad just lost the info all of a sudden.

I downloaded the Sims Freeplay app some time ago and it's been smooth sailing.
I'm a bit of an achievement hunter when I play my games, so I bought a rather expensive home to earn one particular achievement.
My "Pro Skater Deam Pad" was built, but the achievement was never awarded. Odd. So I restarted my iPad and thus the game. Still nothing.
I've had the house for a few days now and I still haven't been awarded an achievement, so I went to the App Store and clicked App Support.
It sent me to the EA games homepage, and after scouring the help center with no luck, I was finally pushed into making an account so I could ask my question.
Lo and behold, the EA games cannot access the Game Center or the App Store or anything else like that, and sent me back to Apple.
Repeat the cycle here.
So here's my question and I'd love some answers ::
"What do I need to do to fix the glitch? The app is up to date and is otherwise running perfectly fine."I doubt this warranty is still being honoured, since there was a 2 year time limit.

Did you have another device with Game Center on it? Did you give a new owner of a device any passwords?
Do you share apple account with a family member?
Do you have a rescue email set up in your Apple account, with security questions?
I suggest you set up a new email account, write everything down and keep it in a safe place.
New email account and password. Not so easy that it can be hacked.
In your iTunes account on the computer. Login and change security questions, password and rescue email.
Again, make sure your password is not easy to guess. Same with security questions.
Write it all down and keep it somewhere safe.
I recommend a password keeper called Enpass. You can store 10 cards with user names, passwords, notes and account numbers in the free version.
Then you only have to remember one complicated password to open Enpass and retrieve your information.
If all else fails, contact apple support. -

In the actual game center app, when i click on the "games" tab, nothing displays. It should display my games and achievements- however, it doesn't. Any advice or help?

No Audio from Any Game Center App Games
Has anyone else out there recently lost all audio from Game Center app games? Can hear everything else just fine... Known issue? Fix?
Apparently, some apps use the ringer channel for audio and others use a different one not affected by the silence toggle. Confusing. Okay. I get it now.

After downloading latest update to my iphone3, I found a "game center" app. I opened and tried to sign in using my current info and kept getting msg that password already being used (yeah, by me). How do I get past this so I can download and use my games?

Just in case the following is helpful to anyone else:
The switch has to be done manually since all of the sort categories--except album artist--have changed to automatically sort with articles, which is a bit of a pain if you have a lot of articled artists, but there is actually a way to WRITE IN how you want your artist (or whatever) to sort. I just changed my POLICE to COPPERS as a test, and by golly now all the music comes up/is reorganized under C right below Coolio, still listed as The Police!
Before the newest update, the auto-sort always sorted ARTIST to my liking (i.e. ignoring the article), so I never bothered to check out any other tab save Details and Artwork, but voila:

I am trying to get into my Game Center app but every time I tap on the app it opens too a blank white screen. I have tried several times to reset my phone but I get the same result.

It sounds like you are tapping the Game Center app to open it, but the screen is blank. I recommend signing out of your account:
Go to Settings > Game Center, where you can:
Sign out (tap your Apple ID)

Then close all the running apps:

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

What would cause my Game Center app to stop working ?
What would cause my Game Center app to stop working & other apps to just shut off .
I've attached a stripped down version of the subVI which handles the UDP connection.
In the Init and Disconnect cases, I've had to remove the startup and shutdown commands as that's protected info, but they are just fixed U8 arrays. The subVI does not have any incoming errors when executed by itself or as part of the main VI nor does the Init case generate any errors. Also, the UDP Open and UDP Write functions process a nonzero Connection ID.
Let's see, what else? The Init and Disconnect cases operates just once at the beginning and end, as you might expect. While the Read case operating at 1x/sec during normal operation.
Let me know if there's any more insight I can provide.

Game Center is installed in the 3GS firmware. You may need to just Update to the current 3GS firmware in iTunes for it to be automatically installed.

I am running Yosemite 10.10.2 on my Macbook Pro. In the game center app I can not access my account. Clicking on the username does not help - it looks like it's stuck. Can anybody please help me? Thanks in advance.

Hello, would really appreciate your help on this one. I downloaded a Facebook app when I purchased my blackberry phone, and have had this app for 12 months now. Suddenly, this app has vanished from my home screen and from the app world. I re-installed it, it said it had downloaded successfully, yet I cannot find it? I have looked in the 'download' file and it's not there. I would really appreciate some help, thanks.
1. On your homescreen, press the Menu key > SHOW ALL, so that SHOW ALL is checked.
2. Look in EACH folder on your device... Applications, Instant Messengers, Downloads, etc.
If you still don't see it, look at Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see it listed there?
