HT4314 Where are my games ?

I think because I had to make an update to my apple id, now when I go
into the built-in Game Center app, there is just an empty space
where my list of games should be. I have already tried signing out
and then signing back in again twice-- still no games !
Can anyone out there provide some help ? Thanks.

check to make sure that they didn't get moved to further back pages. For some stupid reason Apple put the game center on screen 1 - making a 1 entry screen 2 and thus moving all the rest of the apps to screen 3 and beyond. This may be your issue - several of have reported thinking our stuff was gone to later find them on later pages. Then you can reorganize your pages back to where they were.
Something is really lacking these days with Apple and doing things like this - forgetting about the bugs they have introduced. They obviously didn't really test this install on real people and see the effect.
Hope this is your problem since it is an "easy" fix.

I have a 4g classic iPod.Suddenly almost all my games won't play and I get a message to go to the site but there is nothing there for me. Where are the games for my iPod and what has changed to make my games no longer Play?

Most of the games on my iPod classic 4g will not play anymore. I get a message that is of no help and when i synced the games they disappeared. What is going on and where have the games for iPods on iTunes gone ?

Apple removed the clickwheel games from the iTunes Store back in September.
Have you tried a hard reset of the iPod to see if that helps resolve the issue of not being able to play the games? To do this, first make sure the Hold Switch is in the OFF position, then press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Where are my games (following a hard disk fail)

I have a Macbook V1 and have been religiously backing up my machine from the moment I bought it. Last weekend the hard drive failed. I have reinstalled OSX (using the same naming conventions), fully updated it to the latest version and imported all my music files into iTunes. However, I had all the games and can't find any of those to import.
Could someone please tell me where they are or, alternatively, offer a better way of reinstating my iTunes library given the fact that I have everything backed up to an external drive.

The games are located by default in:
Home > Music > iTunes > iPod Games folder
You can do a spotlight search on files with the ".ipg" extension as well.

Where are "Braid Game" save files stored?

Hello!
I had Braid installed in my os x snow. I then went to preferences and copy everything related to braid I found there.
Now I've upgraded to Lion but have no idea where should I put those files in order for my new Braid.app recognize them as the previous files, and continue my game.
Any help?

When you import the plug-in, its contents are taken and put in a repository table. So when you go to operate on the plug-in, you don't need access to the filesystem of a particular OMS (of which you could have multiple), you only need access to the repository.
The easiest way to get at one of the report files is to export the plug-in and unjar the MPA it gets put in. The file naming will make it a little hard to figure out which is the file you want, but they'll all be there...

Where are my games?

I bought and downloaded two games and played them, lots of fun, no problem. Today I read that there was a newer firmware version and upgrading was recommended. So I upgraded to the latest firmware. iTunes made a backup right before the reset. After installing the new firmware, it restored the phone based on the backup. I saw the game begin copied, but they now just won't come up on the main screen. The buttons are gone. Weird thing: alle the apps I downloaded came back just fine.
How can I solve this?

How did you have games/apps on the phone before the udpate because the most recent update is the first time you could put any official applications on it.
Were you by chance using a jailbroken phone? If so, sorry but cannot really help if you were as any software you had on it was unauthorized.

well, i bought a game, and i figured out how to get it onto my ipod..i think. but i cant find it anywhere! im not sure if maybe i actually didnt get it downloaded or what.

If you did successfully transfer it to your iPod, it will be under Extras->Games.

This phone does not have any pre-installed games because it is aimed at the business phone market.
You can find 1000's of free games for this phone by searching google.
Any game that works on the N73 will work on the E65.

Where are the iPod Classic games?

I just got my dads old ipod classic. I looked in the maunel and saw that there were games for it on itunes. I go there and there isnt any. This is false advertising. Where are they in itunes and/or what website could i get some?

They're gone. The information in the manual was correct at the time it was published but is no longer so.

Where are all the downloadable free/shareware games?

There were tons of games, freeware, shareware as well as those that cost money. They could be downloaded from the Apple site. Now when I go to the download section and choose 'games' I go to the Apple store and see exactly 42 games to choose from, none of which are free/shareware. So where are all the games?

I don't know about those devs. Seems to me like Apple is less concerned with niceties for the Apple community these days and dumped the free downloadable games 'cause they are more interested in making more money. Oh well. Thanks Dahveed.

Where are games for nano 5th generation????

I have been looking and looking but STILL there are no games for ipod nano 5th generation on the itunes store. The games are only compatible up to 4th generation nano models. I have contacted itunes support and was told games would be there a week before Christmas!
This is a frustrating situation, and since then I have not had much luck with itunes support. Does anyone know when these games may be available??

Nokia PC Suite - Where are the Backup Files

Where are the backup files store and what is the extension , I have tried to find them.

I can find the backup files using pc suite without any problems, but as i said i want to copy them to my d: drive.
I have unhidden the entire c: drive and searched for .nbu .ncc .nfb .nfc .ngr all nokia backup extensions without result.
I am using Vista and have checked in every directory for my user name.

EDIT : I managed to find the backup files, they were in the directory i had created on my d: drive for my nokia games and software with the extension .nbu , how they got there i dont know?

Where are my Calendars and my Notes??

I have just upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion and am checking through everything. Most things appear ok (even if Mail is rather different....) However two vital things I need appear incorrect:
1. I run several calendars and manage my whole work via them - I see clients for two practices and manage them via my calendars plus everything else. It appears that my work calendars and a few others have disappeared (including all my booked clients for tomorrow!!!) and it even appears to have picked up a recurring calendar item that I deleted 12 months ago..... Really hoping this will be quick and easy to fix!
2. I have been using Notes within Mail for everything - I no longer use a pen and paper. It's great that Notes have been moved out to be on their own but where are all my notes with details of all sorts of vital things?
Hoping you can provide some urgent suggestions as it is 10:49 pm here, so Apple Support is not available till 9:00am tomorrow and I need to know a few things before then (like, what clients do I have when, and what is the Case Number of the Apple Support call I made this morning about this install?)

There are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files (purchases and songs from CD etc) and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

Where are the Movie Rentals??

I see promotions that say there are over 1000 movies to rent.
When doing the "Power" search and click on to Movie available for rent, I only get 150 movies. It has been that way since the Keynote in January.
If there are 1000 movies for rent, where are they?

renting movies/games just isn't my style. i guess it's a good commercial move for them. though with the prices Apple charges for their products, i really don't see how they needed to upgrade to that format for profitability...
will the DL's of Rental/Purchase have all the Extras DVD's will have? that's what i require....anyone see it?
