I have the exact same issue. I also tried resetting my password. I can log in to iTunes on my laptop with the new password, on to my iPhone iTunes, but my Apple TV says it cannot recognize my password. I just did an Apple Tv software update a few days ago.
I am able to log in to Netflix on my Apple TV just fine. I did not have to re-enter my password for that.
Very frustrating. I hope Apple can figure this out soon and post a fix.

You can try to figure out which Apple ID/email address and/or password you used to activate it by going to http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't, you'll need to contact Apple Account Security with your proof of purchase. -

I cannot load updates any of my apps.- Apps are prementently tied to the account that purchased them and you have to sign into that account to update the apps. If you have apps that need updating from more than one account you need to update them one at a time util the remainig apps were purchased from one account.

Did you purchase Apple Care? If you did, you still have access to Apple Support. If not, go to your Apple Store and let them help you get it set up correctly. I'm sure it's something simple we're missing. Good Luck.

I recently restored my iphone. When attempting to set it back up it will not accept my password. Yet when i log into the apple store i have no problem logging in using the same apple id and password. How do i get the iphone to recognize my apple id and password?

Having already established 2 apple ID's. I want to change the ID listed on my iphone. Placing the new, ID on my phone it will not accept it.
Do you not use the same Apple ID and password as you would use for your IPHONE, EMAIL and ITUNES?Where/how are you trying to replace it and what happens ? You should be able to log out of the currently logged in account for the stores by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store and you should then be able to log in with a different account, and for icloud email via Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars to delete and then add an account.

Can I use the same icloud username and password for multiple phones?
I have 6 iphones and wanted to use Apple Configurator to install the same apps on all 6 phones. Some of the apps though, also require further installation by email. Can I use the same iCloud username and password for all 6 phones to download the apps and also to configure email or do I need to create 6 different Apple IDs?
If different people will be using these phones, you might be better off using the same Apple ID for the iTunes content...apps, music, etc. on each of these devices, but create different ID's for iCloud on each device. You can use one ID for the iTunes/App store, & a different ID for iCloud. That way, messages, notes, contacts, calendars, etc will be kept separate on each device.

This is a problem I have seen posted before but I have yet to find an answer for this. I am on Windows 7 and trying to access my iCloud using the iCloud control pannel for Windows download. My Apple ID and password are correct, caps lock is not on. I have reinstaled iCloud, i have restarted winsock in cmd, I have restared Bonjour, I have done everything suggested and still it is not working. Does anyone please have an answer or point me in the correct direction please?

I setup two iphones on "Find My Iphone App" Using the same apple id on each phone. Now the app finds only the phone I setup first. Do I need to use two different apple ids? If your answer is yes then how do I errase the setup in the second phone and assign a new id?
As TJBUSMC1973 states, and as I said earlier, the Find My iPhone app has nothing to do with your use of Find My iPhone. The app is just used if necessary to locate another iOS device from that particular iOS device. To see if both of your devices are being located in Find My iPhone, log into www.icloud.com and select Find My iPhone. Both of the devices should appear. If they do not, then go into whichever of the devices does not appear and make sure that Find My iPhone is activated. It has to be activated through iCloud, and for both to show on the same map, they both have to have the same iCloud ID.
