All I want to do is print a web page to file so I can refer to it later. (insurance quote details -impossible to recall without starting from scratch) how do I copy a web page IMAGE for later review?
Take a screen shot if it is not feasible to bookmark the site.
Hold down on the sleep button and then press the home button and the screen will flash white and you will hear a shutter sound from the iPad. Go to the photos app and it will be the last photo in the camera roll.

It's not due to where she registered the device, it's where she lives and therefore where her iTunes account is - as she is in Indonesia she can only use the Indonesian iTunes store, she would need to be here in the UK with a UK billing address on here account to use the UK store.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Since you're in the Mountain Lion forum, it is indeed simple to create a "Saved" folder on your Mac and save emails into it. You should create the "Saved" folder using Finder.

You cannot change your Apple ID to another one that is already in use - in this case, the one you created for your iPnone and iPad. Decide which Apple ID you want to keep. If you need to change it, change it - don't create a new one. -

iCloud will only sync devices on the same account. There is no way around having to purchase more storage, unfortunately for you.

Your iPhone did not just drop your Camera App. Since none of the included apps can be deleted, none of the included apps are available via the iTunes app store as seperate downloads. Not necessary since it is impossible to delete any of the included apps.
Go to Settings > General > Restrictions.
Is Restrictions on?
If so, is Camera turned on as a restriction?
If yes, turn it off. -

JerryThat is called "TILING", as in making tiles out of the image. Epson printers have a tiling function.
1.— We need to know the dimensions of your image, i.e. so many pixels wide by so many pixels high;
2.— We need to know the final width and height you want or need the image to be once printed on paper, in inches or cm.
From your post that intended size seems to be 0.75 m x 1.5 m.
3.— From what distance is the print to be viewed? That's very relevant in order to figure out the image resolution in ppi you're going to need.
If memory serves, the DIN A4 format is 210mm x 297 mm, or 21 cm x 29.7 cm which works out to 8.3 in x 11.7 in. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
That means you'll need 4 rows of A4 sheets, each row being 5 A4 sheets wide, for a total of 20 A4 sheets
4.— Can your printer do borderless prints?
5— How are you going to put the individual sheets together? This is to figure out if you need some bleed or overlap.

I'm trying to open a file for school on my ipad. The file is a 14 page document that is text in the form of an image (i.e. someone scanned the document and pasted into micrsoft word). When I open the file (docx format) in safari I only see one page. If I save the file on my computer as a .doc I have the same problem. If I save it as a pdf, I have no problem viewing it. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same issue and if so, what they've done to solve it. I use my ipad heavily for school, and do not always have access to a computer, so a solution that stays within the ipad would be best, although at this point i think my best option is to save it as a pdf on a computer to view on my ipad.

I solved this problem. It was not a code-problem but a printer problem. This code do not work on a BrotherHL1660e-printer. On all other printer I tried it works fine.

Trouble converting powerpoint files with png images to pdf-Can someone help?

In my line of work, I create and modify large sized posters that are created in powerpoint. I would have the files print ready by converting them to pdf. I usually have little to no issues executing this. However, I have been dealing with an issue of converting ppt files with png images. The size of the ppt is typically a 42x56 file. The several ways to convert to pdf produces an error each time. Png images are very useful as they provide much clarity vs jpegs or tiffs. The 3 ways I have tried below are:
A) File>Print>Adobe PDF>High Quality print settings/300dpi results to an error message that says:
"Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current print setup. Try one of the following:
*Check the printer by printing a test page from Windows.
*Make sure the printer is turned on and online.
*Reinstall the printer driver"
A blank pdf opens up (Selected to open file after publishing)
B) File>Save as> Change file type as a pdf results in nothing happening. No pdf is produced.
C) Acrobat>Create PDF results to an error message that says: "An unexpected error occured. PDFMaker was unable to produce the Adobe PDF."
Again, this all happens with ppt files with png images. I took out the png images and attempted to convert to pdf, and the pdf is produced!
Can anyone provide any assistance in creating pdfs with png images or what settings I need to adjust? I am able to covert every other image type (jpeg, tiff, bmp), except for png images.

PowerPoint only has to store one instance of the image even thought it is
displayed on multiple slides. But Acrobat can't do the same, the image has
to be stored for every page that it appears on, so that would explain the
larger file size.
Acrobat is supposed to be able to optimize the storage of common background
images (at least that's the message I see when I do a "Save as..."), but I
have yet to see it to work. Maybe it depends on the application the orginal
file is created in and the PDF conversion method used.
Adding the image into a PDF file later as a watermark instead may be a way
to keep the size down (then it really only does store the object once),
though I believe that watermark images will appear in front of everything
else on the page (not sure if that's a problem for you, it depends on
whether any text or objects in the presentation ever appear in front of the
image).
What are the dimensions and resolution of the image in PowerPoint? You may
be able to go as low as 75 dpi and not notice a difference, it depends on
whether the image contains any areas of high contrast or text. -
It was just small spider web cracks in three of the corners. It's not but I just don't want to pay a ton of money. I just need to see if my warranty can get my ipad fixed without paying a ton of money. So how do I figure out if I still have a warranty?

Once iTunes is set to encrypt iPhone backups, switching this feature off requires the password. What if the password is forgotten or unknown? You can still reset iTunes to make a fresh backup without encryption. Follow these steps to uncheck Encrypt iPhone backup:
Perform these steps at your own risk!
1. Delete any Mail Exchange accounts on the iPhone.
2. Delete old encrypted backups from iTunes.
3. Use iExplorer or ssh to delete the file /private/var/Keychains/Keychain-2.db from the iOS filesystem. Note: this step will clear stored passwords from your device.
4. Restart the iPhone.
5. Connect the iPhone to your computer and open iTunes.
6. Uncheck the box next to Encrypt iPhone backup.
7. If prompted for a password, enter the passcode currently set on your iPhone.
When successful, iTunes should begin backing up the iPhone to an unencrypted backup. If this does not happen, start a new unencrypted backup manually.
