HT4356 New iPad print option

I need to print from my iPad and I can not do it. My printer is a HP office jet 6500 wireless e709n. Right now my printer is wireless and I be able to print from my iMac an laptop . Please how can I fix my problem with the iPad.bathe message that I get in my iPad is, no AirPrint found .

airprint is a generic protocol for ios devices because they dont have printer drivers like computers does
and for a printer to be able to be printed to the printer have to support the std airprint
otherwise you need to download a hp printing app from the app store

I do not speak English very well, however, I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. If you put photo paper in the printer it will print correctly on the paper. Also, some photo printers will adjust the size photo printed when you put different size photo paper in the tray.

    Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

  • HT4356 I can't print with my ipad 3 The new ipad

I have an airprint availiable printer and my ipad said that no have airprint printers
    I have all the firmwares.
    HELP PLEASE

    Let's go through the basics.
-AirPrint printer.  Here's the list.  Re confirm yours is on it.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
-Install the printer on your wifi network, and make sure it is seeing the network properly.  A great way to do this is to have the printer go out and find and install any firmware update that is needed.
-they really do need a firmware update before they will work.  Check again.
    - reboot the printer and the router
    Now try again.
Ps, if it still does not work, tell us the make model of your printer and your router.

  • Printing to a HP Color Laserjet CM4540 MFP from new iPad.

I am trying to print from my new iPad to my HP Color Laserjet CM4540 MFP.
When I try to print the iPad gives me the option to choose my printer. It currently only recognizes one printer- not the CM4540. It recognized the other printer without any problems or setup by myself.
I'm assuming b/c the CM4540 is not supported to print from the iPad this is why I'm having trouble.
Can someone confirm my assumption please? Or- let me know how to connect to the CM4540 to print?
    Thanks!!

I have an HP photosmart8250 printer and wondering when I buy a new ipad will it work with that?

There's a list of printers that support AirPrint, the native mechanism for printing from iOS, here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356
I don't see the 8250 listed. HP has an app that enables printing to some of their other wireless printers; search the iTunes Store and you should find it as well as some other printing apps. Otherwise you can connect the printer to your computer and route the printing through the computer. f you have a Mac, Printopia might be worth a look:
    http://www.ecamm.com/mac/printopia/
If you have a Windows system, search the web for something like "airprint Windows hack" and you'll find instructions on enabling printing.
Another option is an AirPrint-capable print server. Lantronix makes a couple of models, including one that supports a USB printer:

    Hi mafiose15,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
    How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
    Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.
You can find the instructions in this article:
    Restoring iPod to factory settings

    All the best,
    Jeremy

  • How do I change the printer options on an ipad air?

i am changing service provider. Currently they overlap. My ipad is happy to find the current old provider but cannot find the new provider even when i switch to that network. I cannot find any options for changing printer options. how can I change the printer option to access the new provider? i have 4 weeks to get the answer. Thanks

If you mean that the iPad is tied to another user's iCloud account, you have to ask them to erase the device for you. You can't do it on your own. The device requires their Apple ID and password in order to turn off Find My iPad and to delete the iCloud account.
IF you just want to sign into another Apple ID (not recommended either) go to Settings>iTunes and App store>Apple ID and sign out of that ID and sign into your ID,

I have a new wireless printer. Where is the print button on my iPad?

    1. Buy a AirPrint enabled printer; see list below

    2. Run the CD provided and setup as network printer; this will setup your printer to the same network as your iPad

You will have to use a universal printing app, such as Print Central or Print n Share.  Look in the app store for printing options.

  • How do I print from my new Ipad to my Canon printer on my wireless network

How do I print from my new Ipad to my Canon printer on my wireless network

Actually, the article tells you to get it on the same network...but not how.  No Canon specific application is needed for printer setup.  It can all be done from the front panel of the printer.
Look at the manual, it will describe how to get the printer on to your wire wirelless network.  Canon support can help.
Next connect you iPad to the same network.  The in applications that print, you will find a print option in the share menu.  The printer should be selectable from there.

how does one print from the new Ipad?

If you have an AirPrint enabled printer then you can use that : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356
If your printer isn't AirPrint enabled then your printer manufacturer might have their own app in the iTunes app store that supports it. Otherwise there are third-party apps such as Print Central For iPad and Print n Share which might work with it.
