HT4356 What about windows is my main computer can I still print from my ipad

CAn I print from my iPad if my main computer runs off of windows I have a Epsom.

Is the epson a wifi printer? If so, then a third party app like Print n Share or Print Central may help you with printing.
If it's not a wifi printer, look on the epson site and see if they have an app or program for you to use.

  • Mac iPhoto to apple tv, what about windows?

    Knowing that we can have a big collection of photos in Mac OS iPhoto's library and share them to apple tv. What about windows? we do have any similar photo sharing application?

    especially for Photos to AppleTV via PC
    search in the Menu of iTunes for the entry "Home Sharing". There you can set up the Photo's that you want to share.

  • HT3819 What about sharing on a work computer? I have a home pc, a work pc, and an iphone and I'd like to share between the 3, can I?

    What about sharing on a work computer? I have a work pc, home pc, and iPhone. I'd like to share on all three.

    So if I brought my work pc home, and we were side by side, would my music exchange between them?
    Yep, if they're on the same network and the Home Share has been set up on both using the same ID, you should be good to go.
    So I have an iPhone why isn't all the stuff on my home PC on my iPhone?
    Which computer is the Phone synced to? (Remember, you can stream music to the iPhone via Home Sharing, but you can't sync or transfer music to the iPhone via Home Sharing.)

    I cannot print from my ipad. It is connected to the wireless okay. I have only had this ipad for a month and while I am not sure I think it has been okay to print before 2 days ago, when I tried to print and I got the message "Airprinter not found" Has anyone experienced this and if so what did you do about it? I have no trouble printing from my computer.

    I rebooted my Airport Extreme.
    Try rebooting your router. Make sure its firmware is updated.

  • I do not have a computer.  What device can I use to print from my iPad?

    I do not have a computer.  How can I print from my iPad?

    Not sure what your question has to do with an Apple AirPort Express, Extreme or Time Capsule.
    An AirPrint compatible printer will need to be installed on the wireless network there.
    This Apple support document provides a list of AirPrint compatible printers:

    Some printers may require a computer for the installation. Check with the printer manufacturer's support team to make sure that you will be able to install the printer on your wireless network before you buy.

  • How can I export photos from my iPad or iPod to my main computer or hard drive. My old computer died and I want to get my photos onto my new computer. Thanks in advance.

    HOw can I export photos from my iPad or iPod to my main computer? My old computer died with my photos on it but I want to move my photo library from my iPad or iPod to the computer I just bought. Thanks for any help you can give.

    Sorry but your iPhoto library is not on an iPad or iPod - you may have photos there (most likely low resolution copies) but not an iPhoto library - dying computers (along with software and human errors) are why you always must have a backup - now is the time to load it

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
    (Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
    In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
    If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
    Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
    If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

  • I have to reinstall WIN 7 Pro on my PC, what about the CC app's? Can I reinstall them later again?

    I have to reinstall WIN 7 Pro on my PC, what about the CC app's? Can I reinstall them later again?

    The CC has been activated twice on 26th April &28th April 2014. You need to deactivate it first from any of the CC installed .
    (Activation & Deactivation Help)
    The other option is to deactivate it while installing for the third time. this will deactivate CC from both the earlier installed machines(I understand, it is being reinstalled on one of machine which had CC).
    To reactivate it on the one of the previous machine, you need to launch any product, there shall be a prompt
    , in that prompt there will be an option to " license the software", please click on that & sign in.
    It will reactivate the CC on the first machine.

    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
  • HT4356 Printing from my iPad
    We have a Kyocera office copier/printer in the office and I really need to print from my iPad. Is there any way I could print from that? Currently I have to email to myself then print from my laptop ( not cool) I might as well do the work on my laptop.
    The key for printing is:
    The aforementioned having an airprint enabled printer which you can use natively, no other apps needed.
    Investigating to see if your printer manufacturer has any solutions.
    Third party apps, such as print n share, print central, printopia
    About everything operates on the presumption that the printer and the iPad be on the same wireless network.
    What you might look into is  investigating some program that allows you to upload your document to the cloud, which will automatically download onto a computer hardwired to the printer and then print. I know my kodak printer has that ability using google docs (I never investigated it because I didn't need to print badly enough to get yet another online account)
    But rigging up a local print server (which is what that hardwired computer would be) is likely the one thing that'll work in an office environment. and it's still contingent upon you having wifi or internet access to upload your document from your device to that computer.
    I'd dig around on Kyocera's site to see if they have any solutions for your situation. I'm not sure if your printer is a more consumer grade or a professional grade, but ours at work, for example, can be set up to also be a scanner. I can put a document in the printer, scan it and have that scan e-mailed to me. So it could be possible that your printer may have the ability to have documents directly e-mailed to it. So digging through teh site or manual could reveal some options you may not even know your printer offers.
