Photo stream photos can be accessed from an iOS device or computer that is signed into your iCloud account with photo stream enabled. On an iOS device, they are found in the My Photo Stream album inside the Photos app. On a Mac, they are found by selecting Photo Stream on the left sidebar in iPhoto. On a PC, they are found in your My Photos>Photo Stream folder.
Camera roll photos are stored in your iCloud backup, and can only be accessed by restoring the entire backup to your device.
You can also add your photos to a shared stream with the public website option enabled, and then view them on the web from any computer browser (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99).

iTunes will only transfer purchases back to your computer using the iTunes > File > Transfer purchases from XXX's iPhone. It will not transfer playlists or non-purchased songs.

Then sign in again
Confusingly this option is called "delete account"
It doesn't actually delete the account, merely removes the iCloud data on the device in question.
Of course when you sign in again it forces it to get the iCloud data once more - photos included

After installing iOs5 onto my iPhone, all my photos and videos were deleted? How do I get them back?
I got the iOs5 update for my iPhone and I just checked my videos and photos in the camera roll and there is none there. It's all gone. Some conspiracy is going on . I upgraded my iphone and before upgrade, obviously iTunes backed up my iphone. After upgrade, lost all my contacts and I feel the icloud *****. Trying to contact apple asks me to pay for support. Isn't this annoying, on one side they keep reminding you to upgrade to new ios and then when you upgrade, you loose everything. Not happy right now

Lost all my photos, apps, contacts, etc.. How do I get them back?
Two weeks ago, I backed up my iPod because I was going to send it back to Apple for them to fix it. I just received my iPod back today so I wanted to get all my stuff back. So I backed it up and the only thing I got back was my music. How do I get all my other stuff back? I don't really mindredownloading all my apps, but the other stuff I actually care about. I had about 200 photos of my friends and family but I can't seem to get it back. I had like 30 or so contacts but I don't know how to get them back without asking them in person. All my calendar events are gone, and I want to see what event I had in the past so I could look back.
So anyways, the problem is when I restored it from the backup I did before I sent it back, I get nothing I needed and only received music. Does anyone know where all my stuff went?I just went thru this same problem--Apple Tech got me thru it. He sent me this link:

Read it first; then plug in your Ipod to Itunes. When it's it's visible on the left side, right click on the unit-you should see "Restore from back-up"; click it and then try to finda backup version just prior to when you sent it away. Select it and restiore to it. This fixed mine!!!
If all else fails, call Apple tech support.

All my photo numbers got screwed up. How can I change them?
For some reason I found many photos with the same numbers, but different photos. I found multiple copies of same. How can I just renumber my entire library so that I can then sort and delete duplicates?
I'm sorry but I have no idea of what your problem is
as to renumbering your library - remember that you must NEVER make any changes of any sort to the structure or content of the iPhoto library using the finder - you only access the iPhoto library using iPhoto

I had my photo stream on and my icloud all set up, i just had the screen replaced and they somehow lost all the photos off my phone, but why wont the photo's reload back on to my iphone now that im connected to wifi again, where are all my photos???
When photos are added to the photo stream album on a device (either due to a new photo having been taken or having been synced from another device using the stream) they remain in the album. However, the syncing process involves copying the photos to the photo stream server where they are kept for a maximum of 30 days, up to 1000 photos. If a device is reset or the stream is turned off or turned back on again (or in your case, the device was repaired), the photos that were on the device's photo stream album are gone and the only ones to appear are those that are currently on the servers (recall the 30 day limit).
If some of your photos are older than 30 days, then they are no longer stored on the cloud and hence are not synced down to the iphone.
Recall, photo stream is just a syncing service, it is not designed as a storage service for photos. Always sync photos to a computer for archiving. -
I changed my email on my computer for my itunes and icloud. It made me manually change it on my ipod even after I synced. It won't change my email for my icloud and I have to delete it manually. "If you delete your account, all documents and Photo Stream photos stored in Icloud will be deleted from this iPod touch" comes up. Will I lose all my data stored on my iPod?
You will only lose your iCloud data, That includes iCloud backup, iCloud Contacts and Calendar, Reminders, Notes, everything listed in Settings>iCloud

I just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and before I delete my old phone, I want to make sure all my photos were in icloud, but I can't find them anywhere. Why? I know it may take weeks to download my 14,000 pics, but I want to make sure they're there.
Extract the photos from the phone to your computer like you would with any other digital camera.
PhotoStream is NOT permanent storage and iCloud photos is in beta, meaning it's not fully cooked yet and you may lose data stored in it. -

Where should I store the collatoral files that are associated with photos stored in lightroom? Items such as pdf files, word documents, etc. How should I connect them to each other so I can find both the photo and the related data?
Lightroom itself will not help you with pdf, word, etc.
However, there is a plugin you can use called AnyFile which will allow you to manage these documents in Lightroom (by assigning keywords and other metadata) so that you can search for all documents (photos, pdf, word, music, powerpoint, etc.) with given metadata.
Because you do this via metadata, it doesn't matter where you put these files. Put them anywhere you want. -

So the iCloud backup will contain all images in the camera roll, but not albums originally synched from your computer. To store and backup photos on your mobile devices add them to the Camera Roll.

Hi there, I pay for extra iCloud space online. However I cannot seem to find any of my photos or account? As my iPod/iPhone only hold 1000 pictures, where are the previous pictures? And how can I access them?
You cannot use iCloud Storage to suppliment your iPad. They are mainly used to backup iPad.
Free up space on iPad
Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what is not needed to free up space on iPad. -
