HT4436 I accidently deleted the email sent by apple to verify my icloud

I accidently deleted the email sent by apple to verify my icloud account.  Now i have been into the icloud and unable to use it as the account is unverified?

Go to appleid.apple.com and sign into "manage your apple id".  You'll see your email address and a button you can click to resend the verification email.

    Have you tried closing the Mail app completely and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Mail 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
    If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
    You could also try deleting the email via a browser if you don't need it

  • I'm trying to reset my password to buy an app, but I do not know my security questions and I deleted the email it sent the reset code to. What can I do to recover my account/reset my questions?

    I deleted the email address for question recovery, but I know the password to the ID's email address and the iTunes account itself as well.

    Contact the Apple ID Security site from http://support.apple.com/kbHT5699 or call the AppleCare support number from http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 and ask to speak with the Account Security Team.  Either can help reset the questions/answers.

  • Accidently deleted an email

    Hi,
    I just got my first BB (Bold 9700 on AT&T with BIS) and I accidently deleted an email I need. It was a reply to an email I received while away from my computer. I was using an AOL email and it doesn't show up in the "Sent" folder on my AOL account.
    So 2 questions:
    1. Is there any way to retrieve messages that are accidently deleted? (Is there a trash folder somewhere?)
    2. Is there any way to set my email to automatically save in the sent folder on the email account?

    1. No, there is no trash folder.
    2. Some email on IMAP accounts (google, yahoo) will reconcile your sent mail to the webmail sent folder.

  • ICloud will immediately delete the emails once a sync has occurred

    As the tiltle shows, since yesterday, all emails goes to iCloud will immediately delete the emails once a sync has occurred. Sent emails will be kept into place, but I keep losing incoming Emails.
    Please help.

    Hi. I have a iPhone 4 connected to a Yahoo email account. I used to be able to see the emails sent from the device on the sent mailbox and the emails sent from the MacBook Pro on an automatically created folder called "Sent Messages" that disappeared. I tried deleting the account and creating it again, both on the computer and on the iPhone, but the problem persists. Any idea on how I can solve this problem?

    On your Mac
    in your Mail App, open the folders on the left hand side, by clicking SHOW on top.
    GO down, where your email acount is and unfold.
    Select the SENT folder. If you cant find it, it means it's already used as your SENT folder. Skip next step.
    In Mail App Menu select MAILBOX -> USE THIS MAILBOX FOR -> SENT
    Maybe that does the trick?

    Not sure about yahoo, but for gmail, I done the following:
    Set up using Exchange on iPhone, it'll keep prompting for password.  On PC use captcha option, log in to gmail account from PC after completingg captcha option, enter password on iPhone.
    See how that goes for gmail, let us know.
    Hopefully someone will have fix for yahoo.

    I have deleted the email address attached to my Apple ID. I know what the email address is but it is non-existant. I thought I remembered the password but apparently it is incorrect? When I go to the App Store on my iPod and click my account to try and sign out. It does nothing and the button is faded out. When I try to download a free app it asks for the password for the old account with a deleted email attached to it. How do I sign out of this account on my iPod so I can sign in to another Apple ID to download apps?

    - Go to settings>Store and sign out and sign into another account.
    NOTE:
    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
    Try recovering access to your account by using the secret question methosd

    I'm sorry you're having issues with your e-mail account on your phone Rusty1112. Let's figure out what's going on. First, please try deleting account/information again and then restart phone. When phone is back on, try adding e-mail account again, and be sure you're entering exactly as you set up, meaning its case-sensitive. If you're still getting same error, please let us know and let us know what e-mail account it is, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, etc.

    I would contact Apple under your warranty.  I doubt you received a new iPod since Apple's policy is to give you a refurbished iPod. 

  • I changed my apple id email because i deleted that email.. I also changed my icloud email.. not it will not let me access icloud it wants to use the old one

    I had to change my email addy due to too many hackers.. it was my apple id and my icloud and my imessage log in as well as face book
    I deleted it after i created a new one.. I made the new one my apple id and my icloud id and imessage
    However imessage does not work right now and Icloud has me log in with the new one and then when i am in askes  me for the password with my old log in greyed out.... I have tried my new pass word as well as my old one.. neither work

    Try temporarily recreating the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  Now try using your current password when you are prompted for the password for the old ID.  If successful, you can go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.

    I think that I was asking two different questions at the same time, because the problem with the iPhone synchronization was solved, but the .Mac Address Book still has no new contacts... just the contacts before the Mac OS X update to Leopard. I guess that I will need to look for help in other discussion topic.

    Exactly how did you delete it?
    Not knowing what computer or OS you are using, it's not possible to provide any help. We need more info and a filled-in profile.
    You can always restore the system from your backup.

    Swipe through your screens and swipe to the left of your Home screen. Type in App Store in the search field. It's a permanent pre installed Apple app so it can't be deleted.
    If you can't locate it on the iPad for some reason, connect the device to your computer. Right or control click the iPad under Devices left side of the iTunes window then click: Restore from backup
