I would like to have 2 iCloud accounts on my Appleid account. While I would like to share apps and music with my husband, we need to maintain separate contacts and calendars. How do I set up the second iCloud account?

Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud. You will have to use a second ID to create a new account. There are some limitations on secondary accounts like this to be aware of. Only the primary account (in Settings>iCoud) can be used for Photo Stream, iCloud backups, Find My iPhone, and syncing Bookmarks (Safari) and Documents. Also, push email only works for the primary account; secondary account email is fetch.

You have to go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated credentials. This deletes the account and your synced data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing to a different account, your data will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.

Go to icloud.com from your computer and open Pages beta. Do you see your Pages documents there?

A much simpler solution would be to go into Settings > Store and turn off Automatic Downloads

How to create a separate account on iTunes for my iPhone and iPad

I have an 8 GB capacity iPhone which I use to connect to iTune for music, video, app synch purpose. Recently I purchase iPad3 capacity 32 GB. When I connect pad to iTune first time, pop message says that do u want to create a separate account or restore iPhone backup? That time I had chosen restore.
Now problem which I am facing is:
1. Say for example I downloaded 3 HD Gages for iPad then I synced with iTune. Next when I am connecting iPhone these 3 HD games are getting installed on the phone, which I don't want.
2. Say I have selected almost 20 GB audio and video for my iPad which are there in the iTune, when I am connecting iPhone all these audio and video are started copying to the iPhone.
How to overcome from this issue. How to create separate account for my iPhone and iPad on iTune? So that same Apps, Music, Video etc. will not installed or copied to both the device when connected to iTunes.

Regarding the USB, see if zapping the PRAM helps.

How do I set up a new iCloud account separate for my iphone and ipad?

I have an old iCloud account for my iphone and when I bought an ipad last year I used the same iCloud account. I now have no storage left and my iphone won't back up. I want to upgrade my iphone soon but don't want to lose all my photos, contacts, etc.
I have spent the last hour trying to create a new iCloud account so I have two separate ones for my iphone and iCloud, to no avail. Apple don't seem to have any information I submit and I am just going round in circles updating passwords! And re-enters new account details. I haven't received an email registering my new iCloud account.
Can anyone help! Can I create two iCloud accounts? Why can't i! Even though I am using two separate email addresses.

If it's stuck on verifying it's because she never responded to the verification email that Apple should have sent to the primary email address she used for the Apple ID she set it up with. She should check her inbox and spam/junk folder for this email and click on the Verify Now link to verify the account. If the email isn't there, she can go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under her Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.
Or, you can just delete the account (which is a misnomer since until verified the account isn't really created).

Let me see if I've gotten this right! You want to remove an account from BOTH machines? Do this for your new machine first, then for the other.
Click the Apple logo on the top left of the screen, System Preferences, Users and Groups (under Systems), unlock the lock in the window if its locked (you need to know the password), select the user that you wish to remove, and click the - sign next to the + sign for Login options. A window will pop up with some options. Select Delete this user and securely, and click 'Delete user'.
After this, do an update from the App Store.
Thats all there is to it.
For the other machine repeat the process except for one thing. Before you delete the user in this case YOU, you will have to give Administrator priviledges to your son bu checking the box 'Allow user to administer this computer'.
Do NOT do anything from Finder ... if you dont know how to fix the consequences of the problems caused.
There is no need to unauthorize your iTunes account on your new machine. Do it on the old machine though.

HT5330 My icloud account on my macbook has stuck with the wrong info for incoming mail and I cannot change the info. Somehow the "box" is locked. Any suggestions ?

The box has never been locked before and now displays a different name to that suggested by Apple for iCloud.
There is obviosly something going on at iCloud as there seem to be large numbers of iCloud users having the same problem....
Works OK with the iphone but not the Macbook !!

TS4002 I changed my password on my email account because my email was hacked. I changed it in my iPhone and iPad also. I have access to my email account, I receive emails and can open them and read them. But I can't reply to any. It goes to my outbox.

If you're not able to send from an iCloud email address on your iPhone, be sure to follow these troubleshooting steps from the article above (iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Mail):
Make sure that Mail is turned on in Settings > iCloud.
Make sure that Push is turned on for your device in Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars > Fetch New Data. Then send an email to your account to verify that Push is working correctly.
Make sure that Push is turned on for your iCloud account in Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars > Fetch New Data. If you're using iOS 6, tap Advanced. Then Tap your iCloud account and make sure that Push is turned on. If you have multiple iCloud Mail accounts set up on your device, Push can be used only withone account at a time. Make sure that Push is turned on for your primary iCloud Mail account.
Turn your device off and back on.
If the issue persists, turn off each of the settings in steps 4, 5, and 6 above, then turn them back on. If that does not help, follow these instructions to delete the iCloud account from your device, then add the account back:
Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars.
Tap your iCloud account.

Open contacts on your phone and check your groups. Do your contacts belong to any non-iCloud groups such as On My iPhone, a Gmail, Yahoo or Exchange account, or anything else? Also check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section). What is selected as your default account?
