need to setup another icloud e-mail address on Mac...how is this done?..Thanks...

You can set up up to three 'email aliases' which are additional addresses which deliver into the same inbox as the main address. You do this on the iCloud website, not in Mail. Please see this page:

  • Need to create a blur over faces in video.  How is this done?

I am creating a video that has people in the picture that I need to blur their faces. what is the best and easiest way to do this?

More complicated. You can't use the Mask Shape filter in that version because you can't animate the position of the mask.
Here's what you have to do if you need to animate the position of the blur.
    1. Put two copies of the clip in the timeline, one on top of the otherwise, on V1 and V2.
    2. Make sure V1 is set as the destination track and the playhead in the timeline is sitting on top of the two layer stack.
    3. Go to the Generators popup in the lower right of viewer and select Shapes>Oval.
    4. Use Superimpose to sandwich the oval shape between the two timeline tracks.
    5. To the top layer, apply the Gaussian Blur filter. Open it into the viewer and in the controls blur as much as you need to obscure the face.
    6. To the top layer apply Modify>Composite Mode>Travel Matte Luma.
    7. Open the oval from the timeline into the viewer. Use the controls tab to adjust the size and shape of the oval to match the face.
    8. Switch the Canvas to image+wireframe. With the oval layer selected in the timeline, position it how you want so the blur obscures the face.
    9. Use keyframes to animate the motion of the oval layer as need to follow the movement of the head.

  • How do I setup another iCloud email address

i do I setup another icloud email address??

Each iCloud account only has a single associated email account.  You can create additional alias addresses that will receive email in your existing account inbox, but it's still the same account.  This explaines how to add an email alias: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a.
If you need to create a new iCloud email account you will need to create a second ("secondary") iCloud account on your Mac by going to System Preferences>Internet Accounts>iCloud, sign in with a separate Apple ID, then check Mail in this account.

i made a mistake when created the icloud e-mail address and want to replace that with some other icloud e-mail (not existing yet). how can i do that?

You can't, without setting up a whole new iCloud account attached to another AppleID.
You can setup an email alias instead: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm6b1a490a

  • Need help with what to do if I want to change my apple id but my id is my icloud e-mail address

    Hello,
I have spent days and hours trying to find a definite answer on what I can do with my situation.  I have been able to figure out that I cannot change my apple id because my apple id is my icloud e-mail address.  But does that leave me no option?  Does that mean that I will have to create a new apple id and subsequently I will also get a new icloud e-mail address?  If so, then how will I retain all of my purchases?  Is it possible to delete my icloud account and then change my apple id?
I would really appreciate anyone that can give me a clear answer on this.  Thanks!!

Sorry I missed this post earlier.  For some reason I didn't get an email alert that you had posted.
If you want to want to change your Apple ID and your iCloud email address, you'll need to create a new Apple ID using the name you want, then create a new iCloud account with it and migrate your data to the new account.  After creating your new Apple ID, save any photo stream photos on your iOS device that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted.  Then sign back in with a new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data to the new account.  You will then have to recreate your notes in the new account from the emails you sent earlier.  When you turn on Mail in Settings>iCloud you will choose your new @icloud.com email address.
Once this is done on the first device, if you have other devices, you can just save any photo strema photos, delete the existing account, then choose Delete from My iDevice (since the data is already in the new account) and sign back in with the new ID to download the data.
You'll then have to decide if you want to keep using the old ID for iTunes or not.  Personally, I wouldn't recommend changing it to a new ID for several reasons.  First, all of your current purchased media is tied to the current ID and cannot be moved to your new ID.  This means that you will end up with different things purchased with different IDs over time, which can make things complicated.  Secondly, if you have already enabled automatic downloads, or have downloaded previous purchased using your old ID, you cannot change it to your new ID for 90 days from the time you first did this.  Once this waiting period expires you can then change to the new ID and access previous purchases with your new ID, but you would not be able to access previous purchased from the old ID again for another 90 days.  (This is what I mean by it being complicated to have multiple Apple IDs for iTunes purchases.)

  • I need to change my iCloud e-mail to my new e-mail because my old e-mail account has been deleted and i haven't been using it for a while.

i need to change my iCloud e-mail to my new e-mail because my old e-mail account has been deleted and i haven't been using it for a while.
my new e-mail is my apple ID but my iCloud one wont change over.

If the old ID ("email address") is an earlier version of your current ID, try temporarily recreating the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • How do i setup another icloud account under an apple id??

Wondering how to i can setup another icloud account under an active apple id?? Plz Help ... Thx

Would this work for my situation:
iTunes Account is under a pre-Dot Mac/MobleMe Apple ID and I want to also keep my @mac.com email address and Apple ID.
So if I go and convert my MobleMe account over to iCloud, could I then use your suggestion and create a second iCloud account so that I could then use iTunes Match?
This is because Apple can't seem to hire anyone knowledgeable enough to know how to merge two accounts into one (something done thousands of times a day by thousands of other companies) so they say I have to decide: lose all my iTunes Store purchases (music, apps, iBooks) or lose my email address.

  • How do I change my @icloud e-mail address associated with my apple ID

My apple ID is not an @icloud address (it is @yahoo.com).  Curretnly I have an @icloud e-mail address associated with this account.  If I log onto icloud.com with my @yahoo Aplle ID,  it will show the emails that I have received from my current @icloud e-mail address.
    How do I:
    1) create a new @icloud e-mial address and
    2) replace the old @icloud with the new @icloud
    3) forward e-mails from the old address to the new one and then, evetually delete the old one.

Once you have created an iCloud account and chosen an @icloud.com address to go with it you can't change the address (short of creating an entirely new account).
However, all is not lost. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) Once you have created an alias you need take no further action to receive emails to it; messages to either the primary address or the alias will turn up in the inbox, and you can choose which you use as the 'From' address when you reply.
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.

  • I have spelt my name incorrectly on the icloud e-mail address when first registering. I wish to change my primary icloud address however I am unaware as to how to do this

i also am no longer using my hotmail account which is my apple id.  I wish to change my apple id to a .me e-mail address. can i not do this?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

  • How can I restore my icloud e-mail address?

How can I restore my iCloud e-mail address?

You can't change and iCloud email account address once created.  You can either create a new iCloud account, or add an @icloud.com email alias address to the existing account, which will receive email in your existing iCloud inbox (more details here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a.
If you would rather create a new account and keep your data, start by saving any photo stream photos on your phone that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted.  Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.  When you turn Mail on you will be asked to create your new iCloud email address.  Type carefully as it cannot be changed later.

  • Will setting up an iCloud e-mail address for Notes change my Apple ID

I am looking to synch Notes on my Mac, iPad and iPhone and apparently need to create a separate e-mail address for iCloud just for Notes. I currently use my Apple ID to log into my iCloud account and since this is an AOL e-mail address cannot be used for Notes. I am concerned that this additional e-mail address will somehow become the default for more than just Notes and cause me problems. Can someone provide some insight?

In order to sync notes with iCloud you have to create an iCloud email account because it uses the email IMAP service to sync notes.  You don't have to actually use the email account for email but it does have to be created in order to sync notes.  You can just create the @icloud.com address and forget about it.  After it's created, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Mail section) and make sure your AOL account is still selected as your default.  (If it isn't, tap it to select it).  It won't cause any other problems.

  • ICloud e-mail address

    Hello everyone,
some time ago I created an iCloud e-mail address when iCloud was released but never was used. Recently I created another e-mail address because I could not use the previous one as I received a message saying that the first email address is being used. I would like you to tell me if you know how can I reach Apple support in order to verify that that email address belongs to my Apple ID in order to recover that email address.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
    Kind regards.

When you created your first iCloud account and set up an @icloud.com address you would have used an Apple ID to do it, usually consisting of a non-Apple email address.
You appear to have created a new, separate, iCloud account. You cannot transfer the original email address to it; it remains permanently tied to the original account and you can access it only by signing into the original account.
If you have forgotten the ID you used to create that account go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Find your Apple ID'.
If you know the ID but have forgotten the password go to http://iforgot.apple.com
If you know both you can add the account, in addition to the newer one, in System Preferences (or Settings)>Mail, Contacts and Calendars so that it will appear in Mail alongside the present one.

  • Can I Delete my Current Apple ID Account then Re-Create/Re-Register a New Version of It but Use the Same Apple Username & iCloud E-Mail Address I Had Before?

I already had an Apple ID before registering for iCloud e-mail.
This means that my Primary Apple ID is my @gmail.com e-mail address (the one I originally registered my Apple ID with), however I'd prefer that my Primary Apple ID were my new @iCloud.com e-mail address.
Yet, I already know that it is simply not possible to make my new @iCloud.com e-mail address my Primary Apple ID in any easy/simple sort of manner.
My understanding is, the only possible way I could use an @iCloud e-mail address as my Primary Apple ID now is to make a brand new Apple ID account. However, I want to keep/continue using my current @iCloud e-mail address and my Apple username (JRCSaunders) -- I don't want to have to choose a new @iCloud e-mail address or Apple username.
So basically what I'm wondering is if there is any possibility that I might be able to completely delete/erase my current Apple ID and then re-create a new Apple ID using my current/existing @iCloud.com e-mail addressas my Primary Apple ID and re-using the same Apple username I have now (JRCSaunders)?
I'm just trying to think of a work-around so that I can make my current/existing @iCloud e-mail address my Primary Apple ID, which does not seem possible without having to create an all-new Apple ID account. But I don't want to create a new account if it means having to change any of my current addresses/names/etc. to new/different ones. So, is what I described (deleting then re-creating using the same names/addresses/info) possible?
    Thanks!

Oops, I realized I posted this question in the iPhone section by mistake.  Is it possible to delete this message and re-post it over in the iPod Touch section?
My apologies for this mistake.  Jd

  • I dragged my notes from one iCloud account to another iCloud account and they disappeared.  How do I find them?

I dragged my notes from one iCloud account to another iCloud account and they disappeared.  How do I find them?

    Hello reallilybart,
Thank you for the question. You can export the calendar events from your previous iCloud account and then import them into your new iCloud account.
First, use these steps to export your events from your original account and make note of where you save the file to:
    Export a calendar’s events
In Calendar, click the calendar’s name.If you don’t see your calendars, click Calendars.
Choose File > Export > Export.
Choose a location for the file, and then click Export. The events are exported in an iCalendar (.ics) file.
Next, quit the Calendar application, and log out of your original iCloud account in System Preferences > iCloud.  Then log in with your new iCloud account and open Calendar.  The final step is to import the file into the calendar for your new iCloud account
Use these steps to import the calendar events:
    Import events into a calendar
If you want, create a new calendar for the events.Add or delete a calendar
Choose File > Import > Import.
Locate and select the calendar file that contains the events, and then click Import.
Choose the calendar you created or another calendar to add the events to.
You can also drag a .ics file to Calendar. The events in the file are added to the calendar that’s highlighted in the Calendar list.
