Hi, I ahve changed email account to gmail and so I ahve changed my Apple ID to this email address. I ahve reconfigured everything except iCloud. When I go into settings it still shows my old Apple ID and it is greyed out so I cant re-log in. How can I change this?

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID and that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

We updated our Apple ID's with our new email and home address etc... with no issues. But.....icloud won't update and I can't figure out how to edit it. It shows the old Apple ID info.

We also changed email address, deleted account and added new one in. I thought everything was working, calenders, photo stream, contracts. Then when I went to email a photo from the photo library that had been streamed in through old email address, It showed Icloud still sending from old address with no way to change it. If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad into Recovery Mode

How can i turn on notes in my icloud settings using ios or os x on a pc

I am trying to use iCloud notes on my PC. I get the following error. "To use iCloud Notes, create a new email address by turning on Notes in your iCloud settings using iOS or OS X."
I already have an icloud account. Won't this work?

Do you already have an iCloud email address? If not, you'll probably have to delete the account from your phone, then add it back. Before doing so, open your my photo stream album and save any photo stream photos that you want to keep on your phone to your camera roll (unless already there) by tapping Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted, then after a minute or so sign back in and turn on your sync settings.

You can change the Apple ID without any problem. On his device, go to Settings > iCloud > Delete account and login with his Apple ID so he'll get his information. iCloud needs an Apple ID, so if he hasn't got one, he must create an Apple ID > http://appleid.apple.com
When you delete the iCloud account, all the information will be deleted, so I recommend you to turn off each service before deleting iCloud

If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Having the email address is not necessary. It is just the username for the device. All you need is that Apple ID and password. Now, if you forgotten the password, then you have more work to do. Since that email is no longer active, you would need to send the reset to your rescue email, if you remember that. Or you will need to contact Apple Security for help. For whatever reasons, the "None" option is not always available to all users and I think it may be related to what country you live in. Short of contacting Apple to get it straightened out, if you haven't done anything with your new ID ye - you can create an Apple ID without a credit card and simply abandon the one that you just created.

The two big things that you have to remember for this to work are ... you have to sign out of your existing Apple ID .... Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap the ID and sign out. Then you have to try to download a free app to bring up the window that asks you to sign in or create an ID. Read the information on the website that I referenced above.
If you have not used the original Apple ID for anything yet, you can simply ignore it and use the new one - or like I said earlier - contact iTunes support and ask them to help you sort it out.

Why when i use a new apple Id and new id for icloud all my information is gone? For example all my contracts are all gone.

I don't know why when i used a new apple ID and new icloud ID all my information is done. My contracts are all gone. This only happen on on phone. When i was changing the other phones it works fine. Nothing is lost. So i dont understand when i was changing the apple ID and icloud Id the information is lost. You know when you go to setting and you click iCloud and i saw that the contracts book was light on. Does that matter? Does that cause i lost my contracts?

I don't think the iPhone is really designed for people to be switching from one Apple ID to another so when you do so you may experience problems. You have two options on the iPhone for where you can be accessing contacts, from iCloud and the iPhone itself. You can also pull contacts off of a SIM card but they are then stored on the iPhone and not accessed from the SIM card.
You could try this;
1. Go to Settings > iCloud
2. Sign in to the Apple ID that you want the Contacts from,
3. Turn "On" the Contacts slider and let it download all of your contacts
4. When it's done downloading, turn the slider back to "Off" and you should get a message like this..."What would you like to do with the previously synced iCloud contacts on your iPhone?"
5. Then select "Keep on My iPhone"
Then after that you can then sign out of that Apple ID and into your other Apple ID and the contacts shouls still be there.

Delete what? The ID's? They cannot be deleted - you just quit using it.
If you still have one old ID - that you have purchased content with - you are saying that the password no longer works with that ID? Did you try to reset the password for that ID?
Read this - instructions if the ID was disabled for entering the wrong password.

How do I update my icloud account with my new apple id without losing all my backed up data?

I recently changed my apple id and password and I would like to know how to update my icloud account to reflect the new id. I realize I can delete the old one and set up a new one, but the message that comes up tells me that all my backed up data will be deleted, would this delete the data and photos that are currently on my iPad? Also, would I have to change my icloud email address?

First, there are apple IDs and their associated passwords. You get the ID when creating a new icloud account. You can also create an ID when setting up an iTunes store account. You can have an icloud account and an iTunes account each using the same ID or different IDs.
So the question is, the ID that you changed... what process did you use to change it and to which account was that ID associated with?
But.. to address your problem (you have one "old" ID for icloud that you have been using and now want to use a new ID - hence a new account), you must move your data from one account to another...
When connected to the account you want to GET data from, Go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off.
When prompted choose to keep the data on the iPhone.
After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to this new account.
Note that this only affects the "Apple data" like contacts, calendars, reminders, etc. Many third party apps also use iCloud to store data files there. These files may be lost in the process, unless the apps also keep the data locally on the device.
NOTE: Photos in the photo stream (if you use it) will not transfer to the new account. It is advised that you save the photos to a computer before performing the account switch.

If you want to change your iCloud ID to another existing ID you'll have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data to the new account. Deleting the account only deletes if from the device, not from iCloud. Any other devices still using the account will not be effected by this.
Before deleting the account, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll or you will lose them. To do this, open the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On iPhone [iPad}. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.

Using the new apple ID for children on iPhone 4 (iOS7)

So, I got a new iPhone 6 and made an apple ID for my child who is under 13. Then I tried to use this apple ID on my old iPhone4 wich I reseted. This did not work. Iphone4 does not have iOS8, could this be the problem? Any ideas?

I know how to create a child account - that has been done. As far as I can tell, your link only explain how to do this.
My question was regarding how do you use this new apple ID when setting up a new iphone which does not have iOS8. Unfortunately I am not able to find any help on this matter. But I am very happy to be wrong here - so if the answer is in fact stated in your first link, please point it out more clear!
