HT4436 when trying to send a photo to iPhoto in apple mail. Please help! Thanks!

I thought it uses iCloud, but i see no new photo in iPhoto.? using osx10.8.2 and iPhoto 9.4.2

If you want to get photos from the iPad directly into iPhoto on the Mac the iPad must be logged into the same iCloud account that the Mac is and have Photo Stream enabled (as on the Mac and in iPhoto.  Then there's no emailing required.  Just put the photos in the Photo Stream on the iPad and they will be automatifdally added to iPhoto if iPhoto's preferences are set as such:
