No slingbox won't work through the Apple TV. If there is a slingbox app for the iPad AND the app has been enabled for video AirPlay then yes you can stream to the Apple TV, if not then it won't stream.

It is possible if you activated Find My iPhone before you lost the device and it is connected to an active internet connection. You can log into iCloud.com and send a lock/wipe request to the device. If it shows offline, then it will hold the request until the next time the device is online.

A 3.5mm to RCA cable or adapter will work fine for stereo between the Mac's headphone jack and receiver's RCA input.

I lost my old laptop, so i downloaded itunes and synced my new pc with my ipod touch 2g. All the icons are there but when i go to play my plants vs. zombies & underworld will not start. I heard you can go to itunes app store and just re download games you've already paid for but when I try this with plants vs. zombies its a newer version thats not compatable how can i get my games back?

Many developers when they updated their apps to support iOS 5 and 6 dropped compatibility for iOS 4.2.1 and earlier.
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup from your old computer. In that case copy that version of the apps t a flash drive or similar, delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Possible to Play iTunes movie/TV clips in Keynote?

I'm assuming the answer to my question is 'no', but I was surprised that I could find no discussion of this topic.
I have some TV shows that I have purchased from the iTunes store; they play fine in iTunes, Quicktime, and Front Row, but neither iMovie HD nor Keynote will let me import them. I can import DRM protected audio files.
It seems logical that since I have the rights to play the files on my machine that I could play a clip of them in a Keynote presentation run from my machine. But perhaps the Keynote export feature would create a 'hole' through which one could crack the DRM.
Can anyone verify that it is impossible to do this?
And what are the best workarounds? Use expose to switch to the clip loaded up in Quicktime, perhaps?

You're right, Keynote and iMovie can't play those videos for the same reason. However, here's a workaround for using Keynote with Front Row (if you have a computer that comes with a remote).

I have already enabled the 'share printers' function but unfortunately the printer does not automatically appear in the printer lists for my other computers. I have tred to find it manually by selecting add printer in the print and fax dialogue box. I have then been able to select the printer by going to windows - workgroup - selecting the G4 and then selecting the designjet. However, when I then try to print, it enters the print queue but doesn't print.
Any further thoughts would be much appreciated!

Anytime you open an app that has a persistant sound stream - a movie, a podcast, some games - it will overide the music app's stream. nothiong you can do to change it.
