How do I print from i pone to network printer

you can print via wi-fi using airprint if you have an airprint enabled printer.
Otherwise you would have to find an app from the app store that provides this feature.

AirPrint printers connected to the USB port of the Apple AirPort Base Station or Time Capsules are not supported with AirPrint.

  • How can I print from my ipad to a network printer (not air enabled

I understand there are numerous HP printers that are "air-enabled" but the one I have is not. It is an HP Laserjet Pro 200 m251nw. Is there a way that I print from my ipad to this wireless printer?

  • Can't print from a windows pc to network printer

I am having a network printer problem.
I have a Canon printer plugged into the usb port of my Mac-Mini.  I can print fine from the Mac to the printer.  I have network sharing enabled for the printer.
I have a Dell PC connected to an Airport Express via internet cable as part of my network.
I have bonjour installed on the Dell
Bonjour can see the networked canon printer and will install it as the default printer for the Dell PC.
However, I can not print from the Dell unless I have the wrong printer driver (an HP driver) installed.  As long as the wrong driver is installed I can print the first page of a document only.
If I install the correct Canon driver, the printer ceases to function.
I tried connecting the printer to the airport express via usb.  Once I did this, I was able to print from the Dell pc with no problem using the correct driver.  But then, I could no longer print from the Mac-mini via the Airport Express connected printer.  The Mac could see the printer and identify that it was connected via Airport.  And the Mac will allow me to connect to the Airport connected printer .  But as soon as I trie to print something from the Mac, it fails and gives an error message or pauses and says the drivers may not be correct.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

I believe that there may not be a solution to this because the printer will only recognize one set of drivers.  Since one set of drivers is for the Mac and one set is for a PC It will only work with one machine or the other.
Then you should be able to print from the Mini after resetting the printer, e.g. by turning it off and back on after a short while. But it sounds as if this won't help either, and to be frank, it's not an "acceptable" explanation, either...
So, what's the error message? Unless known, we can only keep guessing:
You've reset the printer system in the Mini? Eventually consider deleting the Canon drivers manually afterwards, and only then add the printer again and re-install its software.
If that doesn't help either, the issue must be a communication problem, meaning I'd recommend to double-/triple-check all comm-related things as well.

  • Printing from my iPhone to Kodak 310 printer

My iPhone says it does not detect an air printer to print from. How do I get it to detect my new printer? The printer is a Kodak ESP c310.

You need to find an app that may allow for printing.

  • Trouble printing from a MacBook to a network printer wirelessly

I have a Samsung printer connected to a Windows 7 machine and am attempting to print from a MacBook. I try the usual AdvancedWindows+SMB-addressShare-name technique. When I go to print, the MB asks for My Username and password for the W7 box. Upon entering the information, I receive an NTSTATUS_CONNECTIONREFUSED message and no printing takes place.
Curiously, a Mac mini (10.5.8 also) which is connected to the network by wire (the MB is connected wirelessly) prints just fine to the same printer using the same configuration.
Does Anyone have any suggestions as to how to resolve this issue? Can Anyone point Me in the direction of documentation which could help?
    Thanks in advance.

I figured out the answer using this excellent Web page: http://www.ifelix.co.uk/tech/3000.html.
The problem was that when I used the "Wizard" on the PC to install the shared printer, it picked the Deskjet driver by default. But the iMac needs to get the printer data in Postscript, which its own driver then translates into Deskjet speak. So after creating the printer on the Thinkpad I had to go into its Properties and change to the Apple Color Laserwriter driver.

  • How do I print from my iPhone to my cannon printer using wifi?

I would appreciate anyones help. Thank you!

You can only print directly to AirPrint capable printers.  I haven't check the list lately, but the last time I checked, only a select number of HP printers were on the list.
You can, however, share a printer with your PC or laptop.  I have done this with my Windows 7, 64 bit laptop and Windows XP PC.  The catch is that the PC or Laptop must be up and running on the same network as your iPhone.
The following thread has a lot of information on how to set this up.

  • Printing from an iPhone to a Home Printer using a Mac Book as a Server

This is how App Print Bureau prints to a home printer. It works, but is becoming inconvenient, as one has to leave the Mac Book on. Accordingly, I would like to use something else as a server. I have a netbook (Acer Aspire One), but it may not be powerful enough to use as a server, over and above any difficulties with its different OS (cut down Fedora). I presume it would have to be loaded with a Mac OS, which may be a no no for various reasons... If it could be done at all... Any suggestions?
    Cheers, all
    Ken

I'll wait until I retire the Mac Book, then dedicate it to being a server.

  • How can I print to my HP OfficeJet 6500 Wireless Printer from my iPhone 4S which used to work before AirPrint printers were even available? (running Mac Lion OS, all software and HP sw updates are all performed)

How can I print to my HP OfficeJet 6500 Wireless Printer from my iPhone 4S which used to work (on prior iPhones) before AirPrint printers were even available? (running Mac Lion OS, all software and HP sw updates are all performed)
I don't get it, I read one post about why would we have to buy an AirPrint Printer when we have used the "print to a wifi printer" just fine in the past?  Yes I feel that's exactly what's happening to me now too. I want to print from my iPhone and iPad to my WiFi Printer which is also now connected to my Airport Express WiFi network just fine. No problems.

Very glad you added that bit of information because I see different problems similar to this.  I want to share with them what you did and hopefully you not only fixed your specific problem but you can lend some more advice to others with problems like this. Thanks!
Don't forgot to say thanks by giving "Kudos" if I helped solve your problem.

  • How can I print from my iPhone to a non AirPrint printer

How can I print from my iPhone to a non AirPrint printer?  I was told by an Apple tech to do so via Airpot Express USB port. I already have a wired and wireless network and printers connected via Ethernet.  I am just trying to print from my iPad and/or iPhone to my existing printers...if possible. I tried the airport express but that does not appear to do what I need. Any help or a definitive "no way" would be appreciated.

There are third-party apps that permit this. If on a MAC, get this:

    PC, get this:
