In Address book on Mac - right click on the group you want to export.
Select Export Vcard
log in to iCloud and select contacts.
Select group you want to import them into
Bottom left click on the gearbox icon
Select import Vcard
Select same location you exported from the Mac
Mine populated in about a minute

For you, I'd skip to the section titled "What gets transferred, and to where?" and then "Email, contacts, and calendar information" so you can read about where you contacts will get moved if you choose the WMA option:

Welcome to the Apple community.
Your address book should have migrated along with your move. If it hasn't go to groups, in "on my mac" group select all the contacts that appear on the right-hand side and drag them to your "iCloud" group.
Once you have done this you can then delete the contacts from your "on my mac" group. -

Download Address Book Extractor from the App Store ($1.99), export to a csv file and open in the spreadsheet of your choice.

How do you move your music within itunes from your regular library to the homeshares library so that you can import it to your new computer?
You do not have to move it as such. Here are the steps to setup HomeSharing
1) Ctrl B to turn on the top menu
2) File > Home Sharing > Create Home Share enter your apple id and password, click create
3) repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other computer and create home share using the same apple id and password
On your new machine if you have turned on the left hand sidebar the Shared Library should be about halfway down like this.
Select the songs you want and click import at the bottom right. If you want all songs then I would select one song nad Ctrl A to select all
Finally if you have a lot of songs to transfer Switch off the wifi on the old computer. Leave the wifi on the new one. Connect with an ehternet network cable. The copying speed is way faster.
Click import and grab a coffee -

Data in my iMac address book and iCloud contacts do not match.
The data in my iMac address book and iCloud contacts are different. How can I get my iCloud data to accruately reflect that of my iMac address book? It appears to be an initial synchronization issue. New entries synchronize fine. Appears that initial entries in my Address Book are not showing up in the iCloud Contacts list. Hense, My iPhone coantacts don't match those in my iMac.
Is there a way to clean out my iCloud contacts on reload/re-sychronize it with my iMac Address Book?Nuts isn't it. I did get the outlook contact s back from an archive - but any thing from icloud has become inaccessible from outlook. (fortunately i can get the vcard infformation directly from icloud. but I can't access it from outlook mail.... means no replying, forwarding etc - and a time swallowing nuisance..

I don't think Internet Explorer has its own address book. Can you find your addresses by logging into your email website (e.g., Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail) or starting up your email program (e.g., Outlook Express)?
