Welcome to the Apple community.
Try exporting and importing them in small bundles, there may be a problem with one or more specific cards. If you are able to isolate them, you could then import those particular cards manually.

The vCard must not be a compatible format. (Unfortunately, there are multiple formats.)
Often your carrier can transfer contacts between devices from different manufacturers. Try visiting your carrier's retail outlet and see if they can do this for you.

You mean exporting from Outlook surely, what exactly are you you importing to?

I have just migrated all my files from my old Mac to my new Mac. The CS2 apps are asking for my serial number which I have. But before I follow through on this will this procedure deactivate my old Mac's CS2 apps? I'd like to keep the old Mac active until I'm confident that there will be no glitches with software operation on my new Mac. In other words a shakedown cruise of app integrity on the new Mac. never migrate adobe files. properly install them using the installation files.
for cs2, don't use your installation files. use Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
and you don't need to deactivate your currentle working cs2 programs.

A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... then download the base install for Adobe Reader 11.0.
Then download each of the individual updates and run them sequentially.
I've installed back up to the last security update which is version 08 and have been able to do normal Save As operations.
You will have to disable automatic updates in order to stay at version 08 until Adobe resolves this issue in a later release.

How do I prevent files from being backed up to iCloud and iTunes?

I have created the ios app using adobe AIR16 and flash cc. After submission of my aap into aapstore, I received a message from Apple with the following message –

2.23 - Apps must follow the iOS Data Storage Guidelines or they will be rejected.
By using xcode we can prevent files from being backed up to icloud and itunes, but i want to know that what is the way to achieve this by using AIR. While creating an explicit app id from apple developer account , i am not enabling icloud support.

Within AIR you can set the File.preventBackup property to true on a directory or file to prohibit that content from being backed up to the cloud:

This is all you need to call when you first create the folder or file to have it work with iOS backup guidelines.

I have been sent a file (148MB) from a client via FTP that I can not open. The file was created on a PC, using PSCS3.
I'm usually pretty good at troubling shooting but I have not seen this before.
Any help, suggestions would welcomed.
I get the following error messages: (see attached)

Mavericks is the name of your operating system. It is otherwise known as OSX 10.9.
The previous versions were indeed "cat things".
The way you would know if you need to download new software from Epson is to go the Epson website and search for your printer there, look for downloads, and see if they have new software listed for 10.9.
You can revert your system back to what it was two weeks ago. This would be easier to do if you have a backup that you made prior to installing Mavericks (like with Time Machine). If you don't have a backup (sounds like you probably don't), you can look here for some directions about how to go back to the "Cat Thing" that you had prior to installing Mavericks: How to revert OS X back from Mavericks: Apple Support Communities
If all of this is too hard for you, you could take your Mac in to your Apple store and ask them to help you.

Everything works fine, excepting that when I attempt to open Photoshop 6, I am prompted for the serial number. I have a old firefox data file from a computer transfer i did and i want to get all the bookmarked sites i had orginized how can i do this?

so a while back i transfered my old computer files to my new computer and when i did that i tried getting my firefox books marks added when i did it it just made a file old firefox data. i went into it it has the books marks but the problem is it isnt really readable kinda jumbled up and i wanna know if i can import it to my current one or somehow get it organized so i can at least see them apart or on a note pad just each bookmark on its own line? i added a picture of what it looks like

That looks like a JSON bookmarks backup file, from 11-01-2012. Did you try '''restoring''' that file?

Never messed with JSON files other than viewing them on a few occasions out of curiosity. There are no line breaks which make them very difficult to read.
As far as working with that file in {like} NotePad goes:
A. use Find / Search for each indecent of a '''"uri"''' string, then "copy and paste" the uri into another text file, and then move on to the next "uri" string.
B. use a text program where a filter can be set for the "uri" field in the JSON file for a line break or to "scrape out" the "uri"s only for display or export to a list of uri's.
Or try using an online JSON editor like this, to try to display only the "uri" field.
