Is there a known problem with the iPhone 4 personal hotspot? I have not been able to use this feature for about 3 days with any of my other idevices - it does not come up as available.

My iphone 4 never had a problem with the personel hotspot until 2-3 days ago .
Now when I turn the hotspot on none of my other i-devices can see it. I have tried the turn on/off thing and I have tried the complete turn off holding the 2 buttons on both the phone and the other devices (ipad x 2 and ipods x 3). This is very frustrating.
Oh and I have spoken to my carrier it is not them.
Any suggestions?

Exactly that, there is a problem with the sim card.
The sim card is the little chip that links your iPad to the cellular providers network to get internet anywhere.
It may have moved in the tray and lost contact, it may have an actual issue, or it may be deactivated by your cellular service provider.
Contact them to have them look at it or your service and see if there is anything wrong with it.

OneNote 2013 throwing error: There is a problem with your account. Please try again later on Windows 8.1

I had Windows 8 installed on my corporate laptop till last week and as the OS crashed, I have re-installed the system with 8.1 and it has Office 2013 installed with my corporate ID. It is signed in Corporate credentials by default. But when I am trying to
use Switch Account option and trying to login with my Microsoft ID to sync my notebooks, it throws an error : "There is a problem with your account. Please try again later".
Note that My Microsoft is active and i am able to access the pages online.
Pls help with me with a resolution

Check if you are able to login to other office apps with your Microsoft account.
Check if you are able to login to the OneDrive app using your Microsoft account.

There is a problem with your airport time capsule disk

Since I got my airport time capsule and set it up, I got an error "there is a problem with your airport time capsule disk" and disk is not listed for setup or erase. The LED is flashing amber sine I turned on the first time.
The wifi is working fine as well as the internet connectivity.
I got the device from the online store and was shipped to my address in the states but I opened the box the first time in Saudi Arabia as I left the states immediately after receiving it.
Any advise on fixing this or a near by apple support center where I can get it in for repair / replacement?

I would first suggest that you perform a "factory default" reset on your Time Capsule (TC).
If that fails to remedy the problem, you can obtain technical support from Apple here.

If this is my personal computer and was able to upgrade to the previous version (pre 10.5), why not now? What is my "package vendor"? And what is it I need to do to fix this? The message is unclear. Unfortunately, I deleted my itunes program, thinking that in doing so, 10.5 would finally load. Now I have no itunes on my computer and unable to sync my iphone. Help!

by "repair" I mean I went to the control panel, option - programs and features, and in the list of all my installed programs I selected "Apple Software Update". On top of the screen you find the options Uinstall, Change and Repair. I clicked the repair button and that did the trick. After the repair I could uninstall the program. I also uninstalled iTunes, Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support en Bonjour, thus all Apple programs. Then I installed iTunes 10.5 again and everything went fine.

I cannot install itunes to my windows 7 computer. I've deleted everthing apple related (in order recommended). I get a message each time that states "There is a problem with this windows installer package. etc.. What should I do?

I've also spent hours on the phone with both apple and windows technical support specialists. This is very clearly not a windows issue. I've given my computer a clean boot, disable my antivirus and firewall, and then attempted to download (yes, from apple's website). I've delete all of the programs (in the necessary order) and then attempted reinstalling with absolutely no luck. I'm starting to think that there's absolutely nothing I will be able to do. I've also never been able to fine "apple software updater or apple software update on my computer, which is particularly odd because I haven't found a post in this community that answers that question. No, "apple software update" cannot be found by accessing the start menu or anything in the "C drive". Apple software update is also never included in the itunes download package that I get from apple's website (the others, such as bonjour, apple application support, and apple mobile support are). Apparently it's an itunes issue. I just tried to update and got the same issue. Called att to activate my iphone 4s and they say they can do the swap but apple is telling them itunes is down atm. So will have to wait

Trying to install iTunes 10.7, first attempt; downloaded and ran with everything closed, seccond atttempt; just click on run, third attempt; ran upgrade with iTunes open. All of the results were the same.
