To read your emails you need to come out of Settings and go into the separate Mail app from on your homescreen :
The Settings 'app' is for defining settings for various apps and for the iPad as a whole.

The built-in guest user account will not do this. Simply create a new standard account and call it "Guest" or "Guest Users" or whatever you like.

Only after setting up my user account on my new Air do I find out about Setup Assistant vs Migration Assistant. Since, I have tried Migration Assistant - via wireless - twice, to no avail. Both computers (new Mac and old) just stay busy looking for another computer on my network. All I really want to do is move/copy everything from my old Mac to the new Air. Suggestions? Miracles? ClayYou can do it wirelessly, but that will take some time... you could also purchase a Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter or a Thunderbolt to FireWire adapter. That would certainly be faster. You should be able to purchase either adapter at your local Apple Store or at the online Apple Store.

I inadvertently set up a new account on an android and it doesn't match the ID for a Nook. I cannot share library books between the devices, and I can't remember the login I used for the nook. The nook books appear on my bookshelf from the library, but when I try to download to my android, it won't allow it as it is set up as a different account. The library can't help me and Barnes & Noble can't help me. I need support from Adobe to fix my login.

If you set up a new account on your iPhone you won't have access to all the data associated with the prior Apple ID.

Ask the company providing you internet juice to get online. If it is Comcast, it typically is smtp.comcast.net or mail.comcast.net. If it is Verizon, it is outgoing.verizon.net. If it is someone else it is some SMTP server that is assigned by the company that you pay your bills to get online with. -
After setting up my new 4S, restoring a backup of my old 3GS, I've renamed the old 3GS in iTunes and then I've changed the content, deleting all my important stuff. Now I'm syncing the old one to my PC. Can I then after that safely backup my NEW 4S - which now holds all my company information and stuff - to iCloud without risking to lose it?

As a precaution, I would suggest backing up your iPhone to your computer via iTunes as well as iCloud. Then you can delete one of your two backups. The article below will explain all of your options for deleting data or backups from your iCloud storage.

My iphone does not connect to my email provider and fetch my email. I have been getting emall ok previously, this occurred when I changed my password on my email account. I have "set up a new account" but get the message "server is unavailable". I have tried several things but to no avail. Does anyone have the solution?

Because all apps are FOREVER tied to the Apple ID used to obtain them, & they can only be updated using that ID.
