I have a few thousand songs to share and I'm not share if I can turn my computer off before all of my songs are shared.
Yes you can.
When displaying the library you're transferring music from, for your later transfers go down to the bottom of the screen and in "Show:" select "Items not in my library":
That way, it won't show you the songs/content that you already tranferred in earlier attempts, which should stop you ending up with duplicates.

My sons old iPad 1 is rarely used, but, when i charged it up the message was; "iPad is disabled try again in 22,824,852 minutes" sorry but thats a bit of a wait!
I have gone through all the various reset methods but can't get around the disabled status??
Can't see another way to reset it.
Could it be for the bin.
Only wanted to give the youngest daughter the iPad to take to school.

Jonny Burns.Is this how you do it?
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -
When I connect my iphone and open itunes the iphone icon shows up but when I click it nothing happens and the icon disappears. I have uninstalled and re-installed itunes. Turned my computer off, and turned my iphone off. Restarted everything. Synced my iphone and my itunes and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? I am using Windows

I recently upgraded toSnow Leopard, after that I was given a continual message that I had to reinstall my Internet Cleanup. So I did. Then I turned my computer off and now it will not turn on at all. Help!
See if your Mac will boot from the install DVD.
Then uninstall Internet Cleanup.

I got a message screen telling me I needed to update to the latest firefox version. So I proceeded to update to 3.6.13. The update window said it was almost finished with just a few seconds remaining. It was taking a very long time when it got to that point so I minimized that screen and went to do something else. My computer kept freezing up so I went back to the update window to see how it was coming along and noticed it had paused, I tried to hit the resume button but it didn't work. I turned my computer off and turned it back on hoping that I could just start the update over but the same message was there when I went to try to update again. It still said it was almost finished with the previous update and that it was paused. What do I do to correct this?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
i downloaded a movie on itunes and turned my computer off and when i turned it back on the movie wasnt there so i went to re download and it says check for available download and it still won't let me down load it. what do i do?

just had my ipod replaced my apple as there was a fault with it but now all my purchased songs have gone is there anyway off gettig them back and no i didn't back them up before it broke....
If you are the USA and using the latest iTunes you can redownload most iTunes purchased via the iCloud beta:

I was useing my colne tool in apetrure when, apeture froze. I could not get it to work again, so I turned off my computer, re booted my machine and tried to open the programme again. I can not get aperture to open again and I can't open I photo either. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me get the programme running again? I have a deadline to meet this evening. Help!
I have tried both options.
When I got to point 3 I choose the library I was working on and the same error message popped up, so this option did not work.
I then tried the second suggestion and chose the repair option but as before there is no sign of a repair database grogress indicator. Where would I be able to see this and what does it look like. I can't see any evidence of anything happening on my screen.
I have also just tried the first option that comes up in the pop up box where you have to enter your password, this resulted in the same error message.
I don"t know what to do.
I don't really want to have to go for the third option where you have to rebuild you data base - Would this result in loosing images? -
When Firefox opens here is NO toolbar! But Incredimail shows as something up there, even though I deleted it from my Firefox Home page. I do not want anything to do with Incredimail. How do I correct all of this and get a server that I want?
That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. I can still receive icloud ( ME email address) emails fine. I have not changed my settings at all. I have however tried all the settings I can find on the support pages. PLEASE HELP. Nothing has changed. This suddenly just started happening around a month ago. To frustrate me apple does not seem to have a support email or any method to contact them with this issue to do with their email product. I have spent ages going through the apple support sites and I keep getting asked for an apple product to mark it against. I have no apple product as I am using a PC but I am accessing and using their email product. Is there even a phone number I can call? Surely there is a support area for their Email server issues. Can anyone help? It is driving me mad and causing me major issues. My outlook is Outlook 2010 on a windows 8 PC. As I have said it worked fine then one day decided to stop sending emails.

i've an iphone 3.1.3. sometimes, i have problems opening all the apps i downloaded in the past 4 months. other apps would open but the recent ones will begin to boot and then close itself. once, it persisted for over a week. it staarted again this evening, pls help as am frustrated. NB- i checked for apps update but all my apps are up-to-date. CT
Try the usual steps: restart, reset, restore.

If restoring using a backup doesn't help, try restoring the iPhone to factory settings and try for a while with just the Apple-included apps, to make sure it's not an issue with a third-party app. If it still has problems, it may have a hardware problem and will need to be sent to Apple.
