HT4527 Home Sharing is on but i do not see the logo in the side bar
Can you help me to import songs from my old computer to the new computer?
I still have the same problem. Or similar. Macbook pro and appletv 3rd generation
My apple tv is working perfect with the library on itunes throught Home Sharing but I cannot see the appletv on my itunes.
The main issue is that i I want to move the library from my macbook pro to the apple tv, as i did with my iphone 5 and ipad 2. The idea is to listen music and watch videos on my appletv without keeping my macbook pro working.
did not work for me restarting the router. not also updating and re installing itunes, or reseting appletv. all other setting i think are ok, because both are working
any idea or suggestion???

Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order -
I created a folder in my photostream on my iphone but I can not see the folder on my iPad 1. My wife does see the folder on her iPad 3. Is there anything I can do for my older iPad?
If you created an album containing some of your photo stream photos, this will not be shared using photo stream. If you want to share a subset of your photos, create a shared photo stream and share it with your wife, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99.

itunes 11.1.3.8 shows a speaker icon in front of the seclection but it is not playing. the progress bar does not move. there are speakers attached to the system and all other programs do profuce an audio output.
Go to the Edit -> Preferences-> Playback
In The bottom section of the page click the drop down menu by Play Audio Using and select Windows Audio Session or something other than "Direct sound" or whatever it displays. Click Okay. This worked for me! I hope it works for you too!

Possibly backlight died, if you look at it closely in bright light can you see a "Shadow" of the screen image?

My Adobe Acrobat update failed w Error 1321 The installer has insufficient privileges to modify file.... I followed the Adobe online instructions to change the advance settings.

I have an iMac running Mavericks 10.9.4 I also have about 30 Kodack photo CDs that I wish to convert from PCD to Jpeg but Mavericks will not see the files, they are grey. Is there any way to convert them or must I do it on another machine?
KaibiliPhoto used to support the PCD format up to a few years ago. It's extremely frustrating that Apple decided to no longer support this format and now I'm directed to pay nearly $40 for an app that will (GraphicConverter 9). Did Lemke Software make a deal with Apple so we'd have to pay a premium for a very overpriced converter? And, how are decisions like this supposed to encourage the use of iPhoto?
Apple users already pay a premium to use a Mac. Obstacles like these eventually destroy loyalty to the Apple brand. Just ask Microsoft how their back room deals that exploited their customer base worked out for them. -

You go to (on your phone) Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Managae Storage, and select your device, and it will tell you when it was last backed up. It's also printed below the "Back Up Now" button in the Storage & Backup menu.

The ability to use AirPlay is BOTH an OS requirement(Mountain Lion) AND has hardware requirements. You need to check and see if your 2010 Air will support Airplay.

My Computer is on BUT I can not see the screen to dark?
My computer is on and I can the my front screen. BUT it is too dark , so I can't see what to do. I was having trouble and I had to reset the PRAM. Is this why I can not see the screen. And how do I fix it?
JeanneI believe the keys on an imac are F11 and F12, for dark / bright respectively.
Try that, I think it'll work.
If not, then try out all the "F" keys, one of them will work.

I am trying to import video ( i frame) from an sd90 ( listed for mac) but i movie does not see the camera. It imports into i photo. Is this normal ?
If you quit iPhoto and iMovie (with the camera still attached) then put the camera into VCR playback mode. Then launch iMovie and see if it can see the camera. If not, get out the power adapter for the camera and plug it into the wall, plug the camera into the power adapter. Reboot your Mac and wait for iPhoto to launch again automatically. Don't let it import the clips, just say No, quit the program. Then put the camrea int VCR/Playback mode, launch iMovie and check again to see if it can see the camera. Once iMovie sees it the first time it should be quicker to recognize it in future. But iPhoto does try to race in there and grab everything first.
To turn this off go to iPhoto Menu in iPhoto > Preferences > Look for Connecting camera opens: (click on the pulldown menu and choose No Application) This effectively turns off iPhoto when you first attach the camera. And it opens the way to iMovie recognizing it quicker. -

If you are using the same iTunes library (meaning the exact same iTunes folder), it should work fine.
