I had a itune library on one computer and it got damaged. I went out and bought myself another computer thinking that when I sign in my old library would come up. Wrong. Since I was unaware of this I did not back up my songs. Now I am trying to obtain my information from my old computer. I just have the songs on my Ipod touch which I can not seem to transfer to the new computer. I can not be the only one that this has happen to. I have all the information a person would require. How do I get my information from my old library back onto the new computer
There is a program called Migration Assistant that can help, this is the Mac to Mac article, there is a similar article for PC to Mac.

Lost my bookmarks when my work computer was re-imaged due to a virus. In my profiles directory I don't see anything older than the date my system was re-imaged (4/1/11) so I don't think I can restore them from anything on my computer. I'm hoping that Firefox may have them backed up somewhere off my computer so I can restore them from there. Does anyone know if this can be done? Thanks!
Firefox makes bookmark backups to C:\Documents and Settings\{Username}\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(random name).default\bookmarkbackups in JSON format. If it's in there, you can restore it: [[Backing up and restoring bookmarks]]
It's a good idea to backup manually occasionally though for just such an event as this. You can export them to a single HTML file which you can keep on a USB stick and then re-import them if the need arises. -
Hi, why can't I use the iMessage on my iPhone? I've already had my apple id email on it but it keeps saying "waiting for activation" always like that. No progress. Could anybody help me on this? Cheers
I have an old iPod Touch with old software that can no longer be updated:
iOS version 6.1.6
I've been searching for a solution to my iMessage login problem for months and tried everything from those frustrating links and all the tips from other users.
Here is what finally worked:
1) Settings > Privacy > Location Services > On
2) Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically > On
3) Reboot device until Apple logo appears
4) Settings > Messages > Sign In -
My computer had to be restored before i could back up my music, is there a way I can get it off my iPad and onto my iTunes on my computer?

Hi,
Subject: Could anybody help me out in SWIFT format generation of Credit /Debit Cofrmatin message (MT900/910).
I have already generaed the message for 'Request for Transfer' i.e MT101 .When I run the automatic payment run(F110) for any vendor there is program called,RFFOM100 which generated MT100/101 messeges.
Now I want to import the MT900/910 message which is for Debit /Credit confirmation into SAP .
Please let me know whcih transation/program I have to run for Debit/Credit confirmation and any configuration settings if required,.
Please need help from any of you guys.

I have tried everything in the support section, sometimes twice, to no avail. Now I have an empty ipod that won't connect to my computer much less iTunes.

I cannot remove from my iCloud account an associate e-mail, which is not mine but my daughter... Could anybody help me?
That email address, appart from mine, appears in every single device I have, iphone, ipad, macair... When I sync it merges my personal data with hers (my daughter)...To fix this, one of you should migrate their devices to a new account. To migrate to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud), provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data. If you have other iOS devices, you can just save the photos stream photos to the camera roll, delete the existing account, choose Delete from My iDevice (since the data is already in the other account), then sign into the new account. If you have a Mac that needs to change to the account, go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, choose Delete at all of the prompts, then sign back into the new account.
Once you are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account. -

2 month ago I bought the adobe photoshop. but first I should install creative cloud. and since that time I can't do it. Every time the system was with errow. I couldn't find answers on the web-site, and when I tried to do it - the web-side sent me to different pages. Imagin, that all this time I payed for this product!!!! Now I am really angry, cause I even can't stop my payment.

All my albums on iPhoto have merged into one. Could anybody help me restore the albums as they were?

I'm hoping anyone can help me with my iPhoto issue. I tried to select photos from a particular album and apparently by mistake I selected all existing photos in the library. What happened next is all albums merged leaving me with one single album consisting of all photos.
Could anybody help me restore the albums as they were?

Hi! I've got CS3 Design Standard - the actual disks and Software License certificate. It was installed on my laptop which crashed and could therefore not be uninstalled. I have now installed it on my new MacBook Pro, but cannot get it registered with the serial number. Is it because it wasn't uninstalled on the previous laptop? What to do now?? Thx!
Maybe this can help someone else... I simply had to properly uninstall CS3 and reinstall it again after that. I think that sorted it! I also remember having a similar issue with Macs at work a couple of years back. Not sure whether the same applies to CS5/CS6. I could be *very* wrong but did not know you could output from HDMI into displayport consistently with no issues.
Try a mDP to DP cable like this (the mDP end will go directly into the thunderbolt port of your laptop)
