HT4527 I have had to open itunes on a new computer because my last one died, and I didn't have any backup. Most of my purchased music I got back, but some songs didn't appear and i have to buy them again. Why??
I've had to open itunes on a new computer as my last one died and i didn't have backup. but i've noticed many of my purchased songs have not come back to my itunes to download, which means i have to buy them again. Can anyone help me? Most of my purchased music was there ready to load, but about ten weren't. thanks.
Were they originally bought with a different Apple ID?

Hi, I need to activate my Adobe CS3 on a new computer because my old one died and I'm having difficulty. Tried the normal registration way and then logged in with my Adobe ID and can see the software and activation code already registered. How to get it on my computer registered?
If your two activation are in use you need to call Adobe. Install CS3 to to point of activation and call Adobe at that point. They have help me in cases like your My Disk crashed and I replaced it. Could not deactivate the crash activation. I done that twice over the years I've been using PS for around 20 years
To see your key you need to click on the product in your Adobe products and services page. -

Old computer Windows XP SP3
New computer Windows 8Anything you purchased from the iTunes Store can be downloaded again, as often as necessary, as long as it still exists in the iTunes Store.

I had an iTunes account on my old PC. The computer is shot and I want to sync my phone to the new laptop. When I try and do that, I get a message that I can only sync to one library. I don't want to conitnue because I am afraid of losing contact info and pictures. I have uploaded music on there as well (from cd's I own) but that doesn't matter as much. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Itunes has lost my purchase song list but all the albums are list as complete my albums. The ones i have purchased are tell me i have to buy them again. Not happy Itunes not Happy Apple.
How do i fix it or does apple have to fix it on there end?If the single songs are no longer available in Itunes, that would also explain why you aren't able to see your purchases.
If the songs are on your phone you can transfer purchases to iTunes app on your computer. You wouldn't be able to download them again though. -
How do I transfer all photos and music from my old iphone 3gs to new iphone 4s? I have a new laptop because the old one broke and so do not have non camera roll photos or music stored anywhere apart from the iphone 3gs and cannot update io5 on the iphone 3gs without erasibng everything. i need help!!!
Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your phone. Only if you back up manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your device without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPhone for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.
There is 3rd party software out there, but not supported by Apple, see this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2013615&tstart=0

It may be that if you already bought the iPad versions using your iTunes account, you get a discount on the Mac versions? (That's just a guess - it applies with FileMaker, but I don't know if it does with iWork).
There is no discount for one version of the iWork apps due to owning the other version.

If for some odd reason you have failed to backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod:

Why are my movies not avaiabel in my purchased articles ? do i have to buy them again ?
i want to download some of the movies i bought in the store again because i got a new macbookpro. when i go to the section "purchased articles" i cant find any movies . only music apps and books . So my question : Do i have to buy them again ?
No, you shouldn't have to - are you going to the Mac App Store or the iTunes store? If the iTunes store, just make certain that you're using the same Apple ID that you used to purchase the movies. If you have any problems, contact iTunes store support - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/.
Good luck,

You can only sync with one iTunes library/computer. To switch:

I recently got a new computer because my old one wouldn't let me open creative suite 3 after it generated a error and now I can't deactivate the key to activate it onto my new computer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
You are allowed to have two activted installations, so if the first machine is the only machine with an activated installation there is nothing prohibiting you from installing and activating on the new machine.
You can contact Adobe Support thru chat to have the old installation deactivation.

Closing backround apps on iPhone4 running iOS 5.1.1 - Good or Bad?
I've been given conflicting info by Apple Geniuses. Several have said I should continually close the apps that are "running in the background". The other said "Doing so is the equivalent of a Force Quit. Never do it!" Which is right?
